People have fleas ands ticks and they steal stuff for them to get there fix for there drugs

If you can and when they start receiving items again, please donate your new and gently used clothing for adults, children and babies. The work they do helps many. Also, volunteer if you can. Of course, they can always use money. Thanks y'all.

Kindness abounds in this center helping the most unfortunate to those who just hit a bump in the road.

Living in Aurora got a little hard thank God for hesed house very good people there.

This place is horrible staff don't want do they job quick to put you out when already homeless this place is no good for the environment all they care about is making they $150 off each homeless person and caseworkers are horrible no good I wouldn't suggest this place for my dog or any human thing alive and they let people still from you. Some of the staff our ex drug attics city of Aurora really need to stop wasting there money on this place and then its dirty af in there they got maintenance that clean and everything still filthy showers got mold in them corners of the floors and steps filled with dirt wouldn't suggest this place at all

You'll think this place does good, until you actually have to stay here and find out what really goes on when the public isn't around. Staff do not discipline residents at all, thus most of them are cocky, college interns who like getting a one up on everyone. The program's rules were are constantly being changed in a dictator-like fashion. The drunks get more privelage than the sober people do! Its insane! I rather sleep outside and fend for myself than have to deal with these idiots and their joke for a homeless shelter. Get real..

The Hessed house has been helping a lot of individuals and families needing a place to stay Godbless and more power to you!!!

HORRIBLE staff.!!! I recently went there to donate over 10 bins full of clothes , jackets , shoes etc. The lady working in the desk was extremely rude.!!!! She got mad at the price I wrote down for all of my donations , which is none of her business. she also had the audacity to yell at me because I did not hear where she told me to put the clothes. she literally slammed the door after I walked out because she said I was letting the cold air inside . Next time I will much rather throw away all of my things if that means I do not have to go and get treated the way the lady treated me. Last time I will ever donate anything to this Hessed house.!!!

I have done multiple service projects here, including volunteering, donating and more. Every bit helps.

Staff was friendly and helpful to everyone that stays there

It's a good place IF you have nowhere else to go BUT, between the RULES and the STAFF things are NOT great there. Living there is MENTALLY EXHAUSTING and EMOTIONALLY ABUSIVE. BUT, as long as they make it LOOK BETTER THAN IT ACTUALLY IS to keep the Donations coming N they truly DON'T CARE.

Hesed does a lot of good, volunteering is very meaningful.

They treat people with respect, people can wash their clothing, take showers privately, and have access to human resources that they need.

They treat the homeless like cattle. They actually have nothing but contempt for them.

Having 12 step meetings available truly helps carry the message of RECOVERY to US trudging the road to happy destiny, THANX ... OUT !

Today I was there people are really doing good jobs. They are accepting blankets and foods at this time . Considering the weather had donated few blankets . Will do it again for sure. People care people.

The work they do here is incredible. It is a humbling experience to simply help when i can.

I volunteer here through my church, contrary to what you may think of a homeless shelter, this place is not a cesspool of crime and disease, just kind souls who fell on hard times, I recommend for college or boy scouts service hours.

I donate here every year. I love how friendly and caring these people are. They are amazing all the assistance and help they give out.

A place where Christian values meet the road. Mercy and compassion... love and kindness toward our fellow man. Enough said.

Saddest thing I have ever seen. They want you to stay in the pit on a pad and expect people to be nice and not say anything. Horrible condition s and they probably get money from the start.

"DO NOT GO HERE YOU WILL BE SORRY!" IF THERE WAS A CHOICE I WOULD ABSOLUTELY GIVE IT "0" Star's People getting into it, Fight almost broke out. Some old man went off on me JUST for asking a simple Question! Extremely RUDE! Could NOT Sleep! Loud Snoring, Door Always slamming constantly. The MOST Disrespectful People on the face of the Earth!! THIS IS HELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NO JOKE! Or as they call it.. "Hotel on the Hill." More like Hell on the Hill Really. If you don't know someone or anyone it's best just to keep to yourself! Period. Unless you really know someone. There was actually 2 More thing's but just can't think of em.. Maybe My Mind forgot because it doesn't want to think or remember about it!? My guess anyway ONLY good thing food wasn't too bad and the staff there is Nice.. About All and the ONLY good I can say that came out of that. 4 REAL

Had nope place to go in the middle of December and they turned me down despite the fact that I had just been released from the hospital from severe head trauma. I had to sleep in the dirt in the woods and make a fire to keep warm. Im not a drunk or do any drugs and just wanted some help getting on my feed again. Something should be done about the system that they have. There are tons of people there who have been there for years abusing the system never even trying to get there life together. Most of them are alcoholics and drug addicts. Very sad and an abomination of hard earned tax money. The people who actually want to get on there feet and be successful are the one's who should be help first.

The amount of support they provide to the community is amazing. There are so many volunteers that help out each and every day is a blessing to uncountable individuals and families year after year. More support from the community is needed and anything that you can do to help... In whatever Small way is greatly appreciated. please call them or look on their website to see how you can help!

Its full of drug addicts, drunks and homeless people (expected). I have seen this place since the mid 1990's and it hasn't changed. Many don't respect the neighbors and throw their trash all over. Many just hang out all day and live off of the system. I guess some people like being taken care of by others and don't try to move on.

The great organization the people there are wonderful and they do a lot for a lot of homeless people after people with disabilities

A very good place for people who have no home, and my family are volunteers to help serve dinner in this place.

Great place to donate food and clothes or some groceries for the homeless. We took a tour around whole campus and the guide gave a good explanation of everything.

I've never had to stay there but they are always willing to take my used clothes.

Staff dors what they can but the homeless people are terrible.

The people that run it need to take a hard look atwho they help and who they throw out.

If you would like to do a community service, this is a perfect place. Help homeless people by serving meals, or handing basic need.(towels, sheets, soap etc.)

This place will help you out if you ever get homeless it happened to me I was able to save my money and move to my own apartment

They have many people stay there for many, many years. It seems like the don't really help the homeless people to find a home.

called yesterday to ask what kind of items they take for donations, dropped of 2 bags of winter coats, please any if you can donate in all sizes I was completely unaware children of all ages also live there. after going yesterday I saw strollers and toys outside, I pray everyone gets back on there feet, and really thank God for places like these where they can shelter people. I called today to see what other items they are taking, the lady who answered said for the holiday they will only accept new toys in box. they accept food ( not expired) clothing, ect. please if anyone reads this and can donate food and for the winter coats please do so. when entering the facility there will be a large white moving truck where you can drop of your items, you don't have to go inside if you dont want to it is right in front of the building, the food must be dropped off at door B.
