As a new customer to this dentist I would like to say the service received was very good. The reception team did a very good job and I received multiple communications to confirm and remind me of my appointment. The dentist was clear on what was going to happen and I received feedback on my x-rays without being pushed to have any non essential treatments.

Think Twice before taking out DENPLAN...

Think Twice before taking out DENPLAN...

The Hurlington Dental Practice (Bupa) / Denplan, will not refund our unused dental plan payments which we have paid into for a long period of time and refuse to refund it even though we have not been able to use the practice due to COVID-19 and several months practice closure.

All we have received from both the Hurlington and Denplan is excuse after excuse hence why we have now decided to leave the practice after being registered there for many years. When we did actually approach the dental surgery regarding getting our refund we cpould not get to speak with a manager, and the receptionist simply said we do not, and will not give refunds.

I would strongly advise to stay well clear of this practice and the dental plan as in short, what they are doing is nothing short of wrongfully profiteering from the pandemic which that has effected everyone financially and therefore can ill afford to lose money which we are in fact entitled too.

We have now moved to We care Dental in Peterborough as it would seem that patients can have confidence in the dental team on site there and that we are not going to get ripped off.

The practice never even had the decency to inform us that the dentist we had been seeing for approximately 15 years had moved on in the Peterborough area (We Care Dental) and we did not even get as much as any sort of notification of whom our new dentist would be or a discussion over our future options going forward.

I think its fair to say that the reception staff leave a lot to be desired as they can only be described as uncaring and rude.

I am also in the process of writing to the Bupa head office regarding this situation as its simply not what you expect from what is deemed as a reputable company of its size and stature in the healthcare market.

Hurlington Dental Practice (Bupa) you should be ashamed of your current practices.

Had a terrible experience first off, the "dentist"...

Had a terrible experience first off, the "dentist" messed up my root canal treatment and expected me to wait till the 12th in agony, no antibiotics no painkillers nothing. Before anything is said, I know for a fact how tooth canals are supposed to feel I already have two so this was messed up to high heaven. Then made my tooth extraction the most painful experience in my life. Won't be coming back or recommending this to anyone ever. Wouldn't even let me see a different dentist which I've never had a problem with any of the other bupa dental care surgerys!

The dentist who tried to extract my tooth was not skilled enough. She was not able to extract the whole tooth, but left the roots inside. I have to go to other clinic to remove the remaining part. I am very unhappy and angry with the dentist. The clinic is very expensive too.

Another example of a practice that has staff who trained at the expense of the tax payers and then go on to refuse to take NHS patients other than the absolute minimum, this is so they can then charge silly money and make enormous profits. They are not in the profession for the right reasons, they are just in it for the money, very sad.

I just would like to say how amazing and very helpful Jo the receptionist was. It really makes a massive difference when you get some one as nice as her behind the desk. I was in awful pain with a severe abscess under my tooth and she answered all my questions and dealt with them straight away. I am truly thankful.

I started an abces on a problematic tooth a day before taking a plane to go on holiday and went straight to the practice where , although I didn't have an appointment, the reception desk informed my dentist of my situation. Everyone was polite and understanding. After a bit of waiting, which is only normal as I wasn't in the planning, my dentist saw me, assessed the situation and gave me a course of antibiotics as well as some good advice, which allowed me to have a painfree and good holiday. So, thank you very much Beatrice and also the team at the practice? I know that "my tooth problem" hasn't gone away but it was good and a great relief to be seen and looked after so well.

I am 69yrs old and as a result of a very bad experience when 15yrs old, whilst serving in the Royal Navy, this has given me a fear of visiting the dentist over the years. I have changed dentists so many times that I have lost count. However today I visited Herlington Dentist and had a tooth taken out by Daniel May. I have to say that, even though not something you would naturally enjoy, it was done very quick and proffesionally without too much pain and discomfort. He was assisted by his charming Nurse, Millie, who also helped to make the experience that little bit less stressful for me. I now have no fear of returning to the surgery if I need to in the future and would like to thank them both for their proffesionalism and kindness.

friendly reception staff, both staff and dentists go out of their way to book appointments and ensure you get the best dental experience possible.
I am a very nervous patient and the calming staff and talented dentists have abolished my fear of dentists 10/10 :-)

I am a very nervous patient and found that my dentist put me at ease, I found that he was very professional and extremely gentle .
I also found that the receptionists were very helpful and cheerful especially the white haired lady , and also squeezed me in at the last min .
