This "company" and I use the term loosely is the worst and most unprofessional group of individuals. In particular Natalie Topping a so called adjuster was the person I had the displeasure to deal with. She was rude unresponsive and not helpful to say the least. My car was struck by a taxi cab motorist insured by this company. He side swiped my car after veering into my lane. After he exited the vehicle he approached me in an aggressive manner insinuated that it be better to not report the accident while having a patron in his backseat of course then after I asked for his info he drove off. After reporting this to Hereford it took several months for a response constantly contacting Natalie Topping who responded after I wrote a message complaining to their customer support email. She never apologized then wrote an offer letter for $100 dollars after their insured motorist struck my car and fled. An internal audit by the BBB needs to be conducted. Don't deal with them go through your own insurance they are a waste of time.

I have seen a lot negative reviews for Hereford but cannot understand why. New management possibly?

My motorcycle was involved in a hit and run with one of their insured. They made no issue, and in spite of a global pandemic I received a timely and equitable claim for my damages. A special thank you to Fiona McGregor, my adjuster who answered promptly and guided me through the process.

Almost 3 months have gone by since one of their insured crashed into my car and I have yet to see a dime, even with eye witnesses! Numerous emails and calls go unanswered! I made complaint with NYS Attorney General. Update: Hereford came through and paid for the damages.

They did not explain the charge in writing when you cancel a policy with them because i put my TLC car in Storage and do not need a TLC insurance any more. they do not put 10% cancellation fees in a bill, instead they charge me twice for the month I canceled. they never send me a bill until I called them million times to ask what's going on with my Refund??. where is my refund ??
They charge me more than $300 fees so they hold it from the deposit when I cancelled my policy with them. they suppose to refund me from the my deposit I had. I canceled on 06/06/2020 and now is 11/21/2020.
I still in fight with them to get my money back. but they refuse to give my refund back.
They are untrusted hangry for money politics playing around to confuse me with the policy cancellation fees.

horrible the front desk lady is on the phone with another person simultaneously speaking to me and has an attitude of not understanding what I'm telling her. Make matters worst nobody picks up the line she transfers you to. Unbelievable

People, please use me as an example. My vehicle was hit on July 4th, 2020 by a driver covered by Hereford. I had back and forth communication with this company and to no avail, nothing was ever resolved. The responses were not timely, to get through to their office was trying because the receptionist has a very bad demeanor. The entire experience has left me traumatized and my car is still not repaired. Please stay away from this company do not insure with them or conduct business...

This insurance is very very bad in paying claim my car hit by a driver who has insurance with this company it happens in January 2020 and it s May 2020 and I am still waiting my payment the claim agent Fiona is lying to me that thay had send payment on April 03 2020 but till today May 06 2020 in 33 days it s not reached in long Island same city.
Thy also had close name resemblance with a other good rating insurance company to people miss lead.
That s the worst insurance company I ever had known in my life.

I know this review will not make a difference since its a Taxi insurance company so who ever uses them is forced to choose between 3 nasty companies .
this company canceled my policy without notifying me ,for some reason i couldn't make payments online and i called several times and sent emails , after 2 month they replied that it was canceled 3 month ago !!

Would give 0 stars if possible. I was a passenger in an Uber that got into an accident when I was 38 weeks pregnant, and had to go to the hospital as a result. My Uber driver's insurance was unfortunately Hereford, so I filed a claim to get reimbursed on my hospital bills. They have been completely unresponsive and unhelpful (9 months and counting...), and I have complete lack of confidence in getting my hospital bills refunded. Does anyone have advice on how to get in touch with someone helpful there?
