Mold in the bathroom - No heating (Only son 0815 fan heater) - Barely water pressure - Alternating hot / cold water - Food much too expensive (8 for a Magherita pizza) - no toilet brush on the rooms - windows can hardly or not properly open.
Staff unfriendly and unreliable (taxi order z.B)
Even for partygoers this hotel is hardly recommendable !!! Was not worth the money ...

Quite good both in appearance and in price quality, excellent connection to the center and then next to the hotel there is also a discount .. service more than good Even the hotel kitchen
Very cheap hotel the services are up to the price paid. I've been there twice and I found a strong smell of humidity (I obviously didn't get the same room), the rooms are decent. It can be done but it gets better (at a much higher price)
Excellent. We stayed for 3 nights. Free wifi internet. Room service excellent. Staff friendly. Tram stop 2min from hotel by walk. 15min to Dam square by tram nr. 2. Our package room for 3 nights, breackfast and ticket for 72 hours public transport.
we were in 4 x 4 days we found ourselves well clean room tv in room heating good excellent location between schipol and center well served by public transport even night falls within the hour you want buffet breakfast.the only thing is that the whole hotel is x non-smoking except for an area below. for 20 and per day I would say it is too much
Stayed here last year, good enough hotel with large rooms and nice reception area. Upon going up to our room the most noticeable thing before getting to room is the very strong smell of weed in corridors. Toilets stink but weed covers that. With exception of smelly toilet a great place to stay although a lil far from dam square etc. Taxi should cost NO MORE THAN 15 euro from central station but haggle and you can get down to about 7 or 8 euro.
Good reasonably priced hotel. The only minus is located far from the central part of the city. On foot from the Central, stomp for about an hour, or 15-20 minutes by public transport.
It is a hotel away from the center but with the tram you are in 10 min since there is a station near the hotel. The area where it is located is a dark neighborhood at night and some junkies and drunks are around but nothing dangerous in theory. The cleanliness of the hotel is quite bad, the staff is almost invisible but the rooms are not so bad. I think that for the same price you can get something better in the center of Amsterdam. I would not go back.
Away from the center, but cycling is a pleasant ride. And if you don't want a bike, you have a tram stop very close to the hotel ...... The truth for the hotels you are in Europe this hotel is very good.
It's in the middle of what's best described as the needle exchange district... About a zillion miles and 57 tram cars from the centre of town.
I enjoy making up facts when I can't remember the actual facts -it's probably not that far...
Place itself is not as bad as the other reviews make out. Beds are comfortable enough, it was well staffed and they don't get mad when you giggle more than you probably should into the wee hours of the morning.
At $3-500 a night this is a HORRIBLE IDEA. When we checked in they offered us a worn out room with a broken toilet filled with urine and feces. After we complained they offered us a slightly better room filled with dead bugs covering the walls and curtains. This hotel is far from everything you want to see (15 minute tram ride) and for the price FAR BELOW par. The staff is rude and yelled at my S/O for paying for water and leaving money on the pay counter instead of waiting for the counter person to come back from a smoke break. This hotel would be considered BAD at $100 a night and at the prices they want you would have to be out of your mind to stay here. My recommendation is go ANYWHERE else.
This hotel was okay for the price. It wasn't that fantastic, but it certainly wasn't awesome. However, watch out for giving them your credit card! My friend paid for our rooms in full, in advance. We got a special, non-refundable rate for paying in advance. When we arrived, we still had to pay the local tax, so I gave them my credit card to pay it. During checkout, the staff said we owed them money still, but we explained that we already paid in full at the time of the booking. After a few minutes, they apologized and said it was a mistake and they corrected it. However, when I got home and checked my credit card statement, there were two charges for $120 from the hotel, on the date of our checkout (the tax was only 20 euros for each room, and should have been charged on our arrival date).
I tried to contact the hotel by email, since it would be an international call, but they just ignored me. I had to contact my credit card company, and only then did I finally see that they were trying to charge us a higher rate than what we had already paid. It is clearly outlined in their terms of service that we were paying the full amount, in advance, with no refunds. Our invoice shows the rate we were charged and that we already paid. What a pain!
