An absolute joke of a hospital with zero compassion whatsoever but they are quick to send overpriced bills with zero help to those who are sick. I would try my best to avoid this hospital if at all possible and seek care elsewhere. To make things worse dealing with billing department is just awful. I have never experienced anything like it.
The worst experience of my life and the billing department have the worse sort of people. I hope I never have to go back to this horrible place. Hellen Keller Hospital lacks compassion and dignity. I will do my best to earn others. STAY AWAY!!!
Way more respectful and knowledgeable then NAMC. I came in with a crushed finger and had to be transported by ambulance. The nurses, PA, and DR were very polite. Also I have to give my nurse Allison a huge thanks for doing everything she could to make sure I wasn t in pain! Keep up the good work.
I wish I could give this place a zero. The staff are extremely disrespectful and if I knew which nurses were on staff the night my mother in law was in there, I would seriously sue every last one of them. Props to the X Ray tech though who had the intellect to actually run a dye test through her, which may have actually saved her life. Thankfully, they sent her to a hospital with the actual know how to properly take care of her and treat her and us with respect.
Save yourself some time, if you can, go to Shoals or NAMC. The staff at Keller will laugh at you or your loved one (we heard them laughing at her when she got in there losing blood flow) they need to fire the students they have working for them and get individuals who actually care about what they are doing. Also, the students in question should have what potential license they have or could have stripped from them. I have seriously never felt so disrespected or heard so much disrespect from nurses in my life.
Took my granddaughter to ER. Treatment was timely, courteous and I think appropriate (I'm a nurse). Thank you.
Wow! What an amazing hospital. I was reluctant to go to the ER, but was advised by an urgent care NP I needed to go and get a CT scan ASAP. I only waited 10 minutes before I was brought back into my own private room. Everyone was extremely nice and professional, and I feel like I never waited more than just a few minutes for a nurse/doctor to check on me or to assist me with the tests I needed to get done. Highly advise, A+ operations!
Came with a friend to receive blood, these nurses are THE BOMB !!!!! We have been treated so kind!! Plus they are very efficient, and know their jobs!!!!! They definitely ALL DESERVE A RAISE!!!!! THANK YOU LADIES
My wife Michelle fell Tuesday and broke her wrist. While in the emergency room the entire staff was friendly and helpful and made her feel comfortable while she was in pain. We both thank everyone for all they did.
I could not have asked for a better experience from pre-registration, COVID19 test, registration, procedure and recovery. Not been in this area too long, am so glad this is the hospital closest to my home! Top notch service start to finish!
Hats of to the staff at Helen Keller Hospital. My daughter had to have emergency surgery last week. From the start nothing but excellence. The entire staff there went above and beyond. I am so thankful. The 2nd floor staff is awesome. Dr. Mansell thank you so much, you are a Superhero. Thank you Dr. Smith. Thank you Aylssa, Kaila, Mrs. Rose, Cassidy, Ginny and entire staff. Y'all are truly Superheroes. My daughter was blessed to have such a great team. You guys rock I will be forever grateful
