Really did exceed my expectations, really is a beautiful hotel

The receptionist was rude and not upfront. He had us to pay for a pass knowing that the resort was closed for 3 hours. What a waste of money.

Amazing. First trip but will be going back as often as possible. My wife and I had the most romantic amazing exciting time. Truly a one of a kind vacation. Zero pressure, 100% freedom. The only place I've ever been where you can be you...... I love it!

So this place is located in Jamaicas finest areas call Nigril. Best views of the sunset in the world are seen there. When you arrive they first say to you here "welcome home" and they mean it. The staff here is always eager to help you any way they can. They are an all inclusive resort. Lots of parties day and night and food and drinks always available. Now this all sounds great but it may not be for you as it is a nude resort. You may choose to keep your cloths on and in some areas that fine but others can and will be naked everywhere except dining areas. Then there is the nude only areas and I must say that is where the best parties are. You will stay for 7 days and wish you stayed more. Cant wait to get back.

It is a far cry form the resort it used to be, the staff far too unfriendly and seem timidly gaurded... think it is time for me to move on... sadly

A study of contrasts:

Elegant, upgraded rooms, especially the honed marble in the bathrooms. On the other hand, 2-star hotel bedding. Quite hard ... surprising for a higher-end Resort like this... Especially when such higher level establishments usually have Pillow top mattresses.

Adequate soaps. Poor shampoos.

Hedo is trending now toward being a nude establishment, since the prude side has pretty much been eliminated. Perhaps it might be better for the the last couple of blocks of buildings and the beach which fronts them ..... About eight units total..... to remain Clothed for those of us who like the pools and most of the beach just as they are, but would prefer not to be "a little surprised" as we exit our rooms in the morning.

As good or better than I remember the food from last time I was there: Very strong on Breads, vegitables, salads and cakes. Weaker on fish and meats at the buffet and, to some degree, at the specialty restaurants.

Generally, VERY pleasant, helpful staff. A very few, not so nice.

No mosquitoes this time!

All inclusive rocking resort with a great lifestyle and great employees. Lots of different groups to join and games on the wild side. Then they have the slow down side. Recommend.

Hedo is a six star resort for people who are open minded. It has been upgraded to an extremely high end place with awesome buffets great beach grill and amazing Japanese and Italian resaurants. The price for rooms is high but the quality of service rises to excellence. So even with the price point the value is amazing. The staff is attentive. They operate as a well oiled machine and everyone working seems happy to be there. If u are open minded lifestyles type of person I highly recommend

Quiet and relaxing... nothing happened that i considered out of character. I expected a little more but was pleased to find good staff and great entertainers. I would recommend the piano bar as that was a good treat and don't miss the Japanese steak restaurant.

My experience was great and everyone was very nice. Augustus works on the beach making sure you have clean towels and a seat. He made my vacation that much more pleasurable. I would definitely come back again.

Visiting the Kama Sutra Palace for a couples massage was our favorite part of staying at Hedonism II Resort. Marilena and Elvis made us feel so comfortable. We both agreed it was our best massage experience ever. We also love the theme nights.

It's bittersweet however the hotel itself looks middle class. Although the entertainment is very good I would recommend. The beach isn't so alluring however it's clean. The people(staff) is pretty friendly for the majority. The food by the nude section is distasteful however the restuarant on the public section is acceptable most times very good.

Best adult holiday place in earth! Mentally freeing holiday! You will not have time to think of normal life until you are back on the plane going back home! The nakeness is a non issue, you'll experience freedom at it's best!!

a week in heaven!!! this was a very special trip for my best friend and i and i must say asside from a few minor things with the checkin in and out procedures.... hedonism II is well worth every penny! From fun games to amazing food everything about this place is heaven!

Hedo is an amazing experience that attracts people who are in love with themself and at peace with themself. No one gives off any judgmental vibe. You just get to be and enjoying being. It's fun, and can be wild if you so choose. The food and entertainment is also great. The staff is also wonderful.

From the atmosphere to the food and entertainment this was the best resort I've stayed at in a long time. If your not open minded it's not the place for you. Nudity is allowed throughout the entire resort, so is just about anything else you can imagine.....

We'd heard about Hedonism II from a variety of folks. Their comments ranged everywhere from heaven on Earth too pushy and crude.
We decided to go to support friends of ours who were renewing their wedding vows on their 35th anniversary.
Both of us are very easy-going, flexible, and non-judgmental. But at the same token we're no pushovers.
We found the grounds and the rooms to be absolutely spectacular. The food service and beverage service was exceptional. Even to the point of one time when all the restaurants were closed there was a chef that made us something special. By the way it was 11:00 at night.
We've attended Caribbean resorts and all-inclusives before so this wasn't our first rodeo. But it was certainly our first rodeo at a resort like Hedonism.
It was very easy to see and very quickly to see that there was nothing but welcoming staff and visitors. We never felt pushed into anything and we definitely went away wanting more.
Throughout the nine days we were there, there were two minor incidents of people visiting on day passes. Security rapidly and efficiently took care of the two individuals. In both cases it was a matter of them not understanding the rules of the resort.
There are two major sections of the resort. There is the clothing optional side and the nude side. If you're looking for a relaxing peaceful Oasis on a Caribbean island this is the place for you. But if you'd like to spice it up a bit, then you might want to visit the nude side of the resort.
The entertainment staff went above and beyond to create fabulous pool parties and events. The multiple nude pools, hot tub, grills, and beach area were the happening spots in the resort.
All the restaurants, except for the nude pool grill which was a walk up counter and tables, required that you have some clothing on to cover your lovely bits. All areas required, if you were nude, to be sitting on a towel or other clothing. It's a courtesy at any clothing optional or nude resort.
This particular resort is known for its adult activities and behaviors. It's not unusual to see consensual adults being adults in public. If that's something that you would consider offencive then this resort may not be to your liking. But rest assured no one is going to make you feel uncomfortable by pushing their needs or interest on you. Everyone there understands and respects that no thank you means no thank you.
We've heard this resort described as Disney for adults. We would certainly say that that's true.
The only item I could point to that wasn't spectacular was the ocean at this particular spot on the island. Having been to St. Thomas, Magens Bay, and other world-renowned beaches, this one is not of that caliber. That being said it didn't offer a detraction to our vacation or to us returning. A Hedo How-To from A-Naked

Want to be naked on the beach AND have the pleasure of making love whenever and wherever the mood strikes? Hedonism II is the perfect spot. Picturesque views of the beautiful blue water and the friendliest staff I have had the pleasure of hanging out with for six days and five nights, they aim to please. From 8AM-7PM, when the sun goes down, I would rate Hedo II a perfect 10! The drinks are served quickly, liquor flows free, soft music plays in the background and the tide lulls you into numerous post-orgasmic naps.

From 7PM-12AM, Hedo quickly looses its ability to entertain all but a moderately cool person. The buffet dinner, which is delicious; is followed by hours of perfectly terrible entertainment. The kind of shows they mock in various Romantic Comedies. The offerings during our stay were a Reggae Band (not bad) , a stripper show (not good), a beach party blaring top 40 music and a runway show of the items offered in the gift shop, modeled by the employees (zero fun). Imagine this on a large scale and it may be a good experience but believe me when I say it fell flat, especially hawking the gift shop items. The many empty chairs are evidence of lack of interest from most of the guests. To be fair, Hedo is not best or worse in this category as other big all-inclusive resorts that your vanilla friends and relatives stay at, but when you are looking to get naked and a little weird it s not the kind of fun that you are looking for. If we want to have a Katie Perry and Drake offensive on our ears we would have stayed in NYC and hit up a crappy night club.

My husband and I just returned from a 6 night stay at Hedonism and cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed the resort! As a travel agent I have been to many Caribbean destinations, I have to say that we are very much looking forward to going back to Negril and staying here again! The resort may look a little dated on the outside however the rooms and bathrooms are all fully updated. We also appreciated how the steps and walkways are the original wood instead of the more modern marble, never slipped when our feet were wet. We stayed on the nude side to get the full experience and liked being close to the nude pool and beach, we talked with other guests who stayed on the prude side and they said the walk was not bad and enjoyed having more quiet time in the afternoon for naps. Our ocean view room was about 10 from the nude pool and the only day I could hear the afternoon activities was when I had the windows open.
We ate the buffet for breakfast and a few dinners and tried all the restaurants all were excellent. We did enjoy the fact that there were no reservations needed and never waited for a table. There was a Friday night specialty buffet and a beach buffet with a bonfire on Monday which gave different experiences for the week. There are beachside grills for lunch on both sides of the resort and the food is fresh and quick. The bartenders were all very attentive and happy to help. Watersports are all included and very well run and we spoke with a couple who really enjoyed the experience and recommended the catamaran tour, this was an additional charge. The beach is pristine in our opinion, the staff is constantly raking up leaves and we did not experience any seaweed during our trip. Don t feel like you have to get out early to get a chair, there is always something available and beach towels are provided. We brought our water shoes however didn t need them but I did notice some rocky areas on the prude side. There are multiple splash pools around the grounds if you wanted to be alone or you can enjoy the experience of meeting new people in the pools. We did spend all of our time on the nude side since that was where our room was and there was always something going on. Depending on which groups are traveling the same time you are you could have some crazy activities happening at the nude pool since anything goes. We were there mid-week to mid-week so experienced the change over of groups on Saturday and the second half of our trip there was no organized groups. Not to say you will not see a lot of openness at the pool during these times but whether you went there to be just you or your partner or wanted to meet new people, you will have a great time! I recommend checking the Group Events section on the Hedonism website so you have a good idea of who will be around during your vacation. The nude pool and grill do close around dinner hours for cleaning and restocking but the party picks right back up around midnight and can go until 5am.
As advertised, this is a clothing optional resort so be aware of the side you book on depending on how much you want to bare. In the lobby and buffet areas you do need to be covered however you can decide how much. There were people wearing anything from sundresses to lingerie but you needed to keep your private area covered. Breakfast most are in whatever was comfortable to put on however dinner could be again a nice outfit that you would wear for dinner at home or a pair of briefs and a bowtie for the guys and a lace teddy for the girls. Dressing for the theme nights is about 50/50, most enjoyed the toga and schoolgirl night that we observed. Don t worry about bringing long pants like more AI resorts require for dinner, shorts and sandals are fine here. Being on the nude side, you are fine walking back and forth to the lobby in your clothes but every other time expect to be naked. We never felt uncomfortable since we are all there for the same reasons to have fun!

Was my 1st visit but not my last. Everyone from staff, guests, and owners are amazingly friendly, kind, and giving. I met so many beautiful people that I am now a Hedo family member and cried when I had to say goodbye for this trip. I can not say enough about Hedo. Don't be shy because no one judges you here. I am looking forward to celebrating my next birthday there with my new friends/family. And the food is out of this world and there is so many things to do not matter if it is 8pm or 2am.

Great atmosphere, judgement free, fun activities that everyone participate in.. very friendly staff. The rooms are below average but whos in the rooms anyways. The bathrooms in the room are modern but it's like putting a new bathroom in a old room.
