Hedgehog Corner Review

All you could ever ask for in a campsite if peace, tranquillity, cleanliness, space and hot showers are on your wish list. One of my favourite places on the planet!!

A magic place, sadly couldn't stay long enough, but a great reason to go back

Great cosy cottage with private garden and hot tub. Perfect for a couple wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle, quiet and beautifull surroundings.

Perfect short break at this delightful and immaculate and welcoming accommodation. A short distance from Lyme Regis and wonderful experiences like Hix and the Jurrassic Coast walk. Our hostess supplied a marvellous breakfast basket complete with home baked bread. My girlfriend loved having a glass of bubbles in the hot tub! We recommend for a romantic getaway.

This place is wonderful! We were in need of some R & R and Acorn cottage at Hedgehog Corner provided it in spades. From the amazing hot tub to a well equipped kitchen and homemade bread, delicious homemade marmalade and fresh eggs to the warm welcome we recieved by Joy. We highly recommend this beautiful place and hope to come back soon.

This place is amazing clean well thought out breakfast basket is is just what you need for your holiday.
Joy has thought of everything so all you need to do is turn up and chill in the hot tub.
We can't wait to go back here really is a beautiful place and close to Lyme Regis, river cottage.

Great location, only a 5 minute drive from the Cobb in Lyme Regis. The accommodation itself, the retreat , is excellent, nicely hidden for privacy with hot tub and everything you need for a quiet week away (with no kids!)

Lovely little apartment. The host has thought of everything you may need. The hot tub is wonderful, even in the rain. Had lovely stay. Excellent value for money

Wow! what an amazing location for the perfect weekend away. Nothing better than staying in a clean place, equipped with all the household essentials, having your own privacy and the best hot tub! We'll definitely be going back =)

Stayed here summer 17. What a wonderful find. Our host Joy was simply marvellous. She made our stay all the more special. Our cottage/apartment had everything you could possibly need with the added bonus of the hot tub of course. Much needed after long walks. Joy has thought of everything even down to hair clips for the ladies whilst using the hot tub! Highly recommend Joys homemade museli!! Delicious! All in all a wonderful place to stay.

We have stayed here a number of times over the last 4 years and will still be coming here again and again in the future. We travel from Scotland and always stay for long periods of time.

We stay in Acorns which has its own private garden with Hottub and car parking space. The property is immaculate and everything that you could possibly need for your stay. It s like a home from home to us. Staying here is a complete Joy. Loads of space in all rooms. T.v in sitting room, kitchen and bedroom. Bed is amazing to sleep in.

HOT TUB! Well what can I say. Fantastic, great for relaxing at anytime of the day. You are provided with separate towels, slippers and robes for when you use the hot tub. I just love it.

The breakfast basket which is stocked with local produce is just delicious and would suit anyone. Home made bread made by Joys fair hand yummy .

The host Joy is a little Gem. Easy to get on with, does not intrude on your privacy but is always at hand to help out if needed. There is lots of information for your reading about Hedgehog Corner and the surrounding areas. Joy is full of useful information and can help you with all of her local knowledge.

You are close to the beach and local amenities. Although we travel by car the bus stop is just at the top of the street which will take you into town or other villages around. There is so much to do. The local pub is also at the top of the street and has a lovely restaurant.
