The best cheesecake I have had since I have lived in Florida and very well priced

People warned me with similar stories, but I didn t listen because I ordered my wedding cake here 6 years ago and it was phenomenal. But recently ordered a very large tiered special occasion cake from here. It looked NOTHING like what I had requested. There was no good excuse. I brought pictures and the lady said it could be done. When I called on the day of the event to confirm delivery, I was told the cake would not having a certain detail I asked for. From the description I got over the phone, it sounded like a minuscule detail and I wasn t worried about it; but I honestly think they forgot to make the cake and just slapped something together because my call reminded them of the order. When I saw the cake at the event, I was in shock. The cake was crooked, the tiers were not evenly distibuted, and the cake was completely covered in a simple shell design frosting (not what I asked for) that I could have concocted myself. The Publix bakery could have done a better job. Never ever again will I take the 50/50 chance of ordering my special occasion cakes here again. Because when I say 50/50, I mean there s a 50% chance you ll get what you asked for and a 50% chance you won t.

I took a chance and googled cheesecake while vacationing in the Daytona Beach area and Heavenly Cheesecakes was one of my choices. I went against the suggestion to just go ahead and get the reliable Publix cheesecake option (for the same price) and am I EVER GLAD I followed my instinct and gave my money to this small business instead. This was THE BEST cheesecake I have ever tasted! If I were ever to start a catering business in this area, I would beg this business to provide my desserts because it is beyond exceptional. Many thanks for making my birthday dream of awesome cheesecake come true. I also want to add I have several food sensitivities and I did nothing but feel GREAT after eating this wonderful cake! VERY SATISFIED AND THANKFUL.

May be resting on their laurels. We keep trying to do business here since we got our nice wedding cakes here 10 years ago. But in 2016 when I tried to buy an assorted gift platter there wasn't such a thing available or a good substitute. Wound up buying two full-size cheesecakes instead.
And today when I drove out of my way to make a purchase there was a sign on the door that said be back at 2 p.m. we waited 5 minutes, 15 minutes and finally left after calling their phone number , knocking on the door and waiting til 2:20 without a gift for our friends.

I LOVE Heavenly Cheesecakes and Chocolates! Do NOT believe any negative reviews about Mrs. Phyllis Hutson. She is a wonderful, Godly woman who works extremely hard to please clients. She has worked from nothing to build a wonderful, professional business. Phyllis made my three tier wedding cheesecake with beautiful and yummy fruit on top. She provided the tiers to make the cake a GORGEOUS presentation. Everyone remembers the cake at the wedding and EVERYone remembered my beautiful cake made with loving hands!!! Thank you Phyllis!!! I recommend anyone to work with Phyllis and trust her opinion. She has the experience and know how to make your wedding cake or special occasion beautifully memorable!

They have delicious LIW CARB cheesecake! It's just as yummy as original!!

The cake was just so so, but the old man stared at me scarily when I went there to get the cake the second day. When I say thank you as I took the cake from him, he didn t even reply, just STARED at me. Please show some respects to the customers ! Or who can trust their food, cake for big events to you!

Very good I did a evening where all the cake was gone people came to get more cake the next day and there was no more the best cake ever

Heavenly cheesecakes are beautiful and delicious. They made my wedding cake 9 years ago. It was a beautiful ocean themed cheesecake with chocolate seashells. This year they made the most beautiful mermaid themed cake for my 7 year old daughters's birthday party.
Phillis the owner is a very helpful and artistic person that absolutely loves what she does and tries to please her customers.

Staff was nice but the cheesecake was not very good and the price was very high. With a group of cheescake fans, we gave the majority of the 2 pies away. Cheesecake was okay, the crust was overly soggy and overall kinda weird to eat. Maybe we are use to a diferent style of cheesecake but these seemed old.

They had a sign on the door saying they would be back at 1pm...i waited til 1:20 and no one showed up..knocked on door and called on business phone. No answer

Nice bakery of cheesecake pies and homemade candies and treats. They also do wedding cakes. Very friendly staff

If I could leave negative stars solely on customer service I would. I went here because their cheesecakes are good. I first called to see what they have available, only to be told they weren t sure what was in the freezer because they didn t check. I drive there after work to be told that I have to wait 15 minutes for them to finish what they are doing. I wait in my car. I go in 15 minutes later to be ignored. I drive to Ormond to find another place that has cheesecake. They were sold out so I have to pace this place so I stop back in. The same woman sees me and says give me one minute. Proceeds to not only get food out of the microwave but to answer an incoming call. Finally she looks at me after putting her food down to say one more minute. I just leave. As much as I like their cheesecakes I appreciate customer service more. I do not recommend!

Every time I come from Port Orange it's closed! Never answers the phone. I will never Come back here!

The "keto" cheesecakes are made with maltitol...a sugar alcohol. Which is NOT keto friendly. They taste great....but are not low carb.

We E-mailed them to get some information about their cheesecakes. They E-mailed back once to ask for some more info...date, number of guests, etc., and said they could set up a free consultation and tasting for us. We replied with the requested info and said we would love to do set up the consultation. It s been months and we haven t heard anything back. And we have E-mailed a few times since then just in case they were busy and forgot or something. Nope. Tried calling customer service and they said they d have someone get back to me but never did. Seriously no way to do business. It s just frustrating.

The cheesecake here is really heavenly. It is not too sweet, it is just right.

Very nice staff attending the counter. Bought an assortment of chocolates which were satisfying to my sweet tooth. I had an awkward moment as they waited with heavy anticipation for our decision of things to purchase because we noticed their sparse available cheesecakes for selection and wanted out. Nonetheless, the candies were a jubilee and are still being enjoyed.

Phyllis the owner/manager scheduled an appointment with me to discuss the cake for our wedding. When we got to the store the worker inside replied "I didn't know about any appointments today, Phyllis isn't here." When I finally got ahold of Phyllis she replied with "I got stuck in traffic because 95 was closed down." It WASN'T closed down, I checked with the Florida High Way Patrol. If she can't remember appointments with potential clients I wouldn't put it past her to mess up your cake order either! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!!!!

If you want cheesecake that is truly heaven sent, this is the place. Not only do they have great cheesecakes they have AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME wedding cakes and will customize your cheesecake or your wedding cake to anything that your heart could possibly desire. They have a candy selection that is out of this world that reminds you of going to the mall when you were a kid and being able to pick and choose some of the best candy ever. Miss Phyllis is the sweetest lady ever, and her staff is just gracious. I had such an awesome purchase experience for Valentine's that I just don't think you could get better. If you are ever visiting Holly Hills, Florida (right down the street from Daytona Beach) will do yourself a disservice by not stopping by Heavenly Cheesecakes.

Love this place !! The owner Phyllis is such a sweet lady. She's getting older so please have patience it's getting harder for her to get around . I love her passion for baking even still at her age. Thank you Mrs Phyllis Hutson for all your heavenly treats.

I had called in advance to ask about a Reese's peanut butter cup cheesecake and was assured it could be done. It was to help celebrate a special occasion with my son, and the flavor was at his request. I knew I could order one from The Cheesecake Factory, but their $89 price tag was a bit steep. Heavenly Cheesecakes charged me $45, which seemed like a big improvement, but now I wish I had ordered one from TCF. The actual cheesecake was good, but there was very little peanut butter cup in it; some servings didn't have any at all, which was extremely disappointing, and definitely not worth the additional cost of a specialty cheesecake.

And there was one more thing that soured me on HC. When I went to pick it up, I had to endure a political speech that ran several minutes long from the woman behind the counter which thoroughly offended me. Hindsight being 20-20, I wish I had just walked out the minute it started, leaving the cheesecake AND her opinions behind. I will never go there again, and I will never recommend it to anyone else.

Way over priced. The woman made me uncomfortable talking about politics and prophets. I couldn't get out of there fast enough. And the food ordered was just ok. I've made better at home.

My husband ordered 2 cheesecakes.. a chocolate and a peanut butter swirl 4 days in advance for my Birthday. He went in 2 hrs early (he was in the area) and it wasn't ready "because the decorator wasn't there yet". That was fine. He went back to pick them up at the designated time. All they had was a chocolate peanut butter swirl (which wasn't MY order). It wasn't even decorated. They just took it out of the cooler. Take it or leave it. No apologies, no discount.. just rather rude and indignant. If I had it to over, I would have told them to KEEP IT. What a LOUSY way to do "business".

Chocolate selection looked nice but i came in for the keto cheesecake that was advertised on their sign. The 2 older ladies holding down the counter were nice but neither knew what i was talking about. The owner, i guess, couldn't be bothered to step away from the people she was sitting with and talking too in order to help me. I did not feel welcome at all and wont be returning again. I hope what they gave me is really keto so it doesn't mess up my diet, it was very expensive for its size and stuffed in a freezer behind the counter, yet advertised on the sign like its one of their main items

WAS CELEBRATING OUR 25TH ANNIVERSARY AT THE BEACH PLACED ORDER IN STORE FOR CHEESECAKE, WHEN IT CAME THE DAY OF ANNIVERSARY IT LOOKED NOTHING LIKE WHAT WAS PICKED OUT IN THE STORE, ALWAYS CHECK HER OUT BEFORE SHE DELIVERS ORDER, SHE RUINED MY DAY AND NEVER SAID SORRY!!!! TERRIBLE SERVICE, TOOK MY MONEY AND FAILED TO DELIVER!!!!!

I just want to say that I had the best over the phone long distant customer service experience! I live in Texarkana TX and wanted to send something to my best friend his first day of work! Heavenly cheesecakes made this happen and spend over 30 minutes with me on the phone getting exactly what I wanted on such short notice!!!! Thank you so much for such a pleasant phone visit ! You went above and beyond for me and I appreciate it! I wish there were more than 5 stars for the rating! Thank you so much !!
