Abusive staff. More interest in covering up abuse than fixing problems. Unresponsive Board of Directors. No patient rights. Grievance rights go unrespected and staff is retaliatory toward those who attempt to use the process. No respect for HIPAA law. Policies undermine public health. New management is needed for the sake of peoples lives.

Heartland CARES, Inc. (HCI), is a non-profit organization that provides comprehensive, client-centered, quality health care, support services, prevention education, and testing. Primary care is provided to persons living with HIV/AIDS, support services are provided to clients and their families, and prevention education and testing are provided to clients, their families, and the community at large. Within the community, HCI strives to prevent new infections and reduce the fear and stigma associated with the disease through awareness, acceptance, and equality.

This nonprofit has made great strides in facilitating the treatment, prevention, and education of HIV/AIDS. We are the only comprehensive care facility in our area! Heartland CARES serves 43 counties: 26 in Western Kentucky and 17 in Southern Illinois. Medical care is delivered at Heartland CARES main Paducah facility and at two satellite locations: Murphysboro, Illinois, and Hopkinsville, Kentucky.

THIS PLACE IS BAD FULL OF CORUPTION THE EMPLOYEES GO AROUND IN THE PUBLIC TALKING ABOUT THE FOLKS WITH HIV STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE
