Soups are all incredible! Ribs were very tender and BBQ sauce was great. Nice atmosphere; upscale but not stuffy or too formal. Service was great and quick with being pushy or rushing us at all.

Really good stuff here. I have never had anything bad here. Prices are a little on the high side but the quality of the food delivers, so you get what you pay for. Parking is a little quirky at times.

Incredible menu, you can't go wrong with anything you chose. Pastas and soups are the best! Specials all week service is outstanding!

Great house made soups daily, award winning almond crusted brioche perch, chef created sandwiches, pasta dishes and more, along with a great kid's menu.

Best food in Muskegon hands down. Very fancy for adults but also a very child friendly place as well. Kids are entertained by coloring on the table cloth placed on every table. Prices are adequate for the amount and quality of the food. I will definitely pay for quality and will be a returning customer.

Superbly delicious food. Cozy and warm atmosphere. We recently passed through Muskegon for our anniversary, and was impressed with every aspect of this place. Lauren was fantastic, and took great care of us.

Wow! Wedding anniversary dinner here was fantastic. Initial fear because of the large menu quickly was abated by the fantastic food. Service was also excellent and we appreciated the lack of pretension in the nice, but not stuffy atmosphere.

When the server said she wanted to by us dessert to help celebrate our anniversary we knew this place deserved the #1 spot it currently holds in the Muskegon restaurant scene.

Came here for our 34th wedding anniversary. WOW. The service and food were awesome we had the whitefish and it was absolutely delicious! The staff was wonderful to us and as soon as they found out we were having our anniversary they even signed a card for us! Who does that? These people are great !

The food was excellent. Anna, the server was awesome. Being my first time there, she brought out soup samples too try, which all were amazing. I had The swordfish which was cooked perfectly. The restaurant was very clean and would highly recommend this place to all.

Had the cavatappi. So good that we went back the next night. The wait staff was great as well.

What is wrong with all of these reviewers? We had a group of ranging ages and everyone agreed the food was horrible. Cheese poofs in the soup? Come on how tacky. The main chef is probably useto making mustgo soup and works part time at one of the local correction facilities. Just ghastly!

Stood waiting for a 200.00 pick up order that was ordered for almost 2 hrs got there and nothing was ready. By the time I got home the food was freezing cold! I am so upset that my anniversary dinner was ruined!!! So upset and disappointed. The servers kept telling me the food was sitting on the line ready to be boxed for over a half an hour.... just tell me the truth next time!.

My husband brought home leftovers from a work lunch he had here. Even the day after, the sandwich was one of the best I've ever had! (Chicken Parm Sandwich... delicious!)

Great food and service. The menu changes frequenty. It is always hard to decide what to order, but everything is delicious. Couldn't resist the creme brulee tonight. Worth the calories!

It's nice to have a restaurant that isn't a chain in Muskegon. Five star food.

Very nice restaurant! The atmosphere was cozy and intimate- I our table was circular around a gas fire. The staff was very attentive and the food was incredible. Highly recommend the Reuben sandwich and french onion soup!

My wife and I went in for a fancy date. The wait staff was very professional, and food came out fast and hot. We enjoyed every dish we ordered. It was very busy in there, so you may consider making a reservation. But even with how packed the restaurant was, our booth felt nice and private.

A family favorite for more than 40 years. Always great food and service.

Stunning patio, pleasant music. Sweet waitress. Good choice of wine, small craft beer selection. The glass for beer was not beer clean, it had obvious circle in the mid section. Huge NO.

I said I will be back at the end of the day, once the dining crowd is gone. I was. 10:38 PM. The patio was closed. One of the waiters, oh his way out, said it is due to bugs biting people.
I understand bugs are not pleasant. I do not expect patrons nor wait staff to put up with these.
There's one problem. I camp. More. I TENT CAMP. I was in a tent for 4 days, just 5 miles South, in the State Park. Not once was I bit.
That makes me think something was way wrong: either management can't control infestation or this was just a lame excuse to close early and go home. Either way, this patio was a selling point to me. I would imagine this place won't be in business very long if they just close down on people like this.

Absolutely Outstanding Food, Service, Quality and Atmosphere

Amazing food, ambience and service! One of the best places for lunch with family or friends in Muskegon!

My husband took me here for my birthday and we loved it! They have indoor and outdoor seating. I would recommend making reservations unless you plan to sit outside, that is first come first serve. It has a European feel and the lighting is very dim inside which makes for a cozy, more intimate setting with the fireplaces. Our waitress was one of the best we have had with a thorough knowledge of the menu, attentive, and lovely personality. The menu is a bit more pricey ranging from $14-40 but worth spending.

Enjoyed a patio lunch. The cheese soup with popcorn was amazing! Who knew?!! Live plants around the patio dining area offer pleasant surroundings.

Food was excellent, we had pork tomahawk, and the scallops. Our waitress, Harper, was fantastic, gave us good recommendations for the meal and drinks. I loved the atmosphere. Great date night!

This is my favorite dinner spot in the greater Muskegon area. The menu is extensive with options for everyone and no one will be let down. I try and order something new every visit and I've never been disappointed.

Overall wonderful service, food quality, and and inventive menu. Have had a few dud menu items over my last 5 visits but my lifetime satisfaction still puts this restaurant in my top 6 for Michigan.

Another fantastic dining experience at Hearthstone! By far some of the best food in town, with a wide array of choices but not so much you get lost. Their willingness to make substitutions or change things up makes your experience perfect for you too. $$ warning, it s not cheap, but they deliver!

I love this place! My wife and I love when we get a chance to visit the Hearthstone. The food/atmosphere and service are top-notch! The french onion soup is superb and I never get a bad salad or perch. Muskegon is quite lucky to have such an amazing restaurant. Thanks Hearthstone!

I can not go on enough about how wonderful this place is!!! Where do I start!? The restaurant is gorgeous! The wait staff was amazing! We had a table of 13 people all paying separate and a birthday as well and our waitress Mary was just perfect! She handled everything beautifully and was well knowledged on the menu and drinks and we wanted for nothing! AND THE FOOD WAS BRILLIANT!! All 13 of us were super happy with our meals and appetizers! Highly recommend this place when you are in this area!!!

Very finely prepared food with careful attention to detail. Service is always competent and cordial. A wonderful bistro under new management striving to maintain a long history of excellent casual cuisine with French accents. The best for many miles around.

One of my favorite places to go the food is always delicious and there is a good variety on the menu. You can be a little bit pricey but it's really really good as well
