Heard & Smith, LLP Review

Love the professionalim and the staff is very helpful.

Dont hear back from them. Even when I update the portals with current information. Not very professional when they will be paid off of me and im doing all the work and im disabled. Its difficult for me to type n write and send photos of info for my case. I only have a government phone with little to NO internet Access!!! I MUST ADD MONEY TO CONTINUE THE ACCESS AND I HAVE NO INCOME SINCE AUGUST 2020 COMING IN!!! Im handling all the research that SSI REQUESTS and got it in before their deadline and I got no return calls from my disability determination handler it the attorney.

My encounter was over the phone and they were very nice and informative on the disability process.

They got me my disability in 5 months no denial none of that. I filled out the paperwork and they did the rest! It was such a relief to have them take care of everything. Highly recommend them

I wouldn't recommend this disability lawyer to anyone! This law firm has the worst customer service ever! Very rude, very unprofessional, isnt knowledgeable about any legal matter, can never answer any of my legal questions what so ever, the main answer i always get from them is "well i dont know thats all up to you" and every information they gave me one phone call is tottally different the next time i talk to them. Every unsatisfied

They are awesome folks very good people. They get back with you on questions you may have

I do not recommend this firm to anyone who is not local. They provide someone from a state nearer to you that never contact or prepare you. Hopefully they provide better service to their local people.

Still waiting for results. Otherwise I would say 5 stars. Lol

These people are the worst they're disrespectful and will drop you all of a sudden for no reason......unprofessional stay away find a firm where they are more concerned about the client than they are with money.

They stay on top of tour case and send prompt emails

AVOID THIS "FIRM"!!!!!! I echo what has been said above: I gave them EVERY bit of information (including medical records that they were too inept to obtain). The "attorney" didn't even show for my hearing and I had to apply for a new one (1 year waiting list). They actually hurt my case and then harassed me after I FIRED them! These people are worthless at best; a menace at worst. DO NOT RETAIN THEM!!!!

Great law firm. Did a great job with my social security disability claim. They always kept me in the loop.

I left to the Philippines and they dropped my case. I was going to do a phone hearing and they dropped my case. I hate them. This was my final step to finish the process too. Ugh!

First off when I use them I had to do all the legwork they did absolutely nothing to answer any of my questions or informed me of what I really needed to have him they made me fill out some paperwork that didn t help me but later on I had to refill out so that would help me now a couple years later I m getting letters from Social Security that I m needing help with and they won t even take the time a day to even talk to me about it personally there are a lot of build lawyers out there than Heard Smith because they do not represent they just want a little cut of that Social Security money that you re going to receive so I would say use somebody else don t use them you ll be very disappointed and they have there

They traveled all the way to North Little Rock, to get my case & won.

Amazing representation they dont give up til you get approved i was denied twice and they keep on til i was approved. They also took minimum fees for their great work

So far that have dun good .the receptionist is helpful as well win you can get thought .i do understand that have a lot of cases. Mine is not dun yet

Worthless, I should have done the paperwork myself. Two years of shi**y lack of communication. LAZY. Don't frustrate yourself with these jerks. All they did was send in the basic SS required questionnaire. They didn't even write anything about my disabilities due to a severe high speed collision. The first was denied. Then, they did the same thing for the 2nd time. Finally, a court date arrived, and they wrote NOTHING to the judge. NOTHING. My case was denied and the judge's report says "Based on medical evidence, I don't believe there is any disability at all". So, I am doing it myself this time as I mentioned. I still can't work at my own company, and I miss that. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, They are lazy and told me they only sent my 2,000 page health records thinking that would be enough. I repeat, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Yes I am a real client, my name is Lawrence Taylor I live in AZ. Heard/Smith employees chose to submit my 2000 page medical history with the hopes that it would be sufficient. It was not. From those 2000 pages, they would have found 5 or more disabilities that I have. The SSA does not read a 2000 page document, the expect the law firm to do that and point out the specific disabilities. I RESPECTFULLY REPEAT TO ANY POTENTIAL CLIENT= DO NOT USE THIS FIRM. ALL LAW FIRMS CHARGE THE SAME AMOUNT AS DICTATED TO THE BY SOC. SEC. The choice needs to be made by you the petitioner, and don't make it by size of the firm. BTW, this firm only has 2 employees! Looking for a attorney to help you get your Social Security Disability, I highly recommend Heard and Smith. They do everything to help take the stress off you . I am very, impressed with what they have done for me. I'm truly thankful for all of them.

I contacted them with my application before ever submitting it. The staff made certain everything was correct on mmt application before submitting it for me, and were pleasant and helpful wherever I called with updates on my medical info. I wad approved immediately and they took no money, because they never went before a judge on my behalf. Because of Heard & Smith, I had no problems at all.

Reading the reviews on Heard and Smith was quite disappointing. I have to say that every company has ups and downs, times of high and low attrition rates, and sadly a lot of people find it more effective to leave bad reviews when they havd a bad experience and not enough of us that have good experiences write about them .

That being said I have nothing but wonderful things to say about my experience with them ..they were very friendly and although it took some time my patience paid off big time. Listen to what they tell you to do and DO IT!!! I can't emphasize that enough .I believe to many people either dont take their advise or they miss phone appts etc snd that will cause your case to be drawn out and possibly lost . I do not work for them and was not asked to put this review. In fact it's been a few years since my case was approved and I was referring my friend to them when I saw the reviews and I must say I was pretty disappointed and I truly believe what I said to be true and hooe that people reading this will heed my advise.

do not use this firm unless you want to be strung along.They do nothing with info given to them.I called and was told not to call anymore "we will call you in two years"!!! I have a broken neck with spinal cord injurys,with an extensive list of problems.As soon as I find someone else to take my case I will be firing these clowns.As someone who is actively fighting our broken system,DO NOT HIRE ANY LAW FIRM WITHOUT RESEARCHING THEM FIRST!!!

I also had a long ,"not so good experience " with them back in 2014. I did go to court and I did have a lawyer but I did most of the talking and was asked tons of questions. Ive asked others about their court hearing and was told the lawyer is suppose to represent you, but I felt like I was representing myself. So I lost, but Im going back again.. Ive had alot of continuous health problems with additional problems as well. All the health problems I live with make it hard to keep a job! Ive have a million jobs...hmm wonder why?
