Hands down the best food I have ever eaten in San Antonio. Blown away!

Excellent brunch options!!! Our server, Alex, was great and his recommendations on menu items were spot on. Highly recommend the Louie item!

Found this gem a few months ago. Just made reservations for dinner with out of town guests. Sure not to disappoint!

The reviews are great for Cappys so when I walked in, I was expecting a better feel. The service was friendly.

The Cocktail list is great.
The Salmon with Lobster Mashed Potatoes was the bomb and saved the entire experience.
I did not like the Gumbo at all.
The Seasonal Grilled Salad was great.
The Toffee Sticky Pudding was just okay.

The host was on her phone when we were leaving and missed a great opportunity to make us feel appreciated.

Classic with great food. The menu is always creative and just good. Brussel Sprouts are great so be sure to try them. You usually can't go wrong with a daily specials.

The food was outstanding, it was relaxing sitting outside, and the service was excellent. I would recommend this to anyone. I will be back.

Josh the waiter was outstanding and painted a beautiful picture of meal when it arrived on the table it excited my expectations 100% I was in heaven my spouse loved her meal. I will recommend this place to any one. Ask for Josh as your waiter

Love the bistro in front. Come here everytime im in town. The antelope burger and potato chip nachos are to die for! Never had bad service here!

This place was a jem. It is so cozy and inviting. We went for brunch and i was very impressed with their menu. I ordered a breakfast platter that was cooked very deliciously. I loved that they included fruit with this platter. What i loved the most about this place was their cornbread. It had little tiny pieces of jalapenos and corn. Not to the point it was spicy but just right. The staff was very welcoming. The waiters knew their specials and despite us being seated in the second floor they still refilled our drinks and were attentive . It is a bit pricey for brunch but I think its worth it. I loved the atmosphere and the decor. Nice place to eat if your in SA!

Put Cappy's on your list for places to dine whether for a nice dinner or brunch. The rustic decor enhances the dining experience along with an impressive menu. A gem in the alamo heights area!

Can't say enough about cappy's the menu the quality the service all top notch!!! I could just come for the Brussels sprouts and leave happy!!!!!

We had an amazing experience. Food was delicious and the atmosphere was pretty amazing.

This was the best meal we had during our recent stay in San Antnio. It was a bit pricey but we did order drinks and some of the higher priced entrees. Both the Kale and Endive salads were excellent. The potato-crusted Halibut as well as the local catch were delicious. The service was excellent as well and the restaurant had a nice ambiance.

Really enjoy the food the atmosphere and the service received from the staff. It was an outstanding experience of fine dining!

Really nothing but enjoyable experiences here, I'll be back. The bill won't break you. Food is similar to a cafe in Portland I loved.

Every thing I've eaten at Cappy's had been excellent. The shrimp nachos appetizer is incredible. The prime rib, the lamb, all perfect. Great atmosphere. Incredible staff.

My mother and I were hungry and needed a break from moving to a new home. I mention this because since we WERE doing that and going to eat and get back to work we were in comfortable workout clothes. Hair in our buns.
Don t know if that was why but I was excited to try a new place and take her to this restaurant since it sounded so pleasant.
We weren t greeted and ended up just picking a table which I think is what we were supposed to do either way but we sat at the table having questions, without a drink, and finally ready to order and still no one had come to our table. 3 servers went by us but still no one ever said they would be right with us or even greeted our table.
This was very disappointing.
We ended up walking out after waiting. Expected a lot more from the description on your website.

Very good food and great service. Two couples for lunch and we were seated right away (but it can get quite busy). Lindsay, our Server, was efficient, friendly and professional. Our meals were all delicious. Soups, salads, mac & cheese and fried shrimp.

The atmosphere, the hostess, the server, and the food were all incredible I couldn't ask for a much more special evening. I will definitely be returning. Oh and the chicken was superb.

One of the best restaurants in San Antonio!! Always offering new items. Great drinks. All little pricey, but they use premium ingredients, so food is yummy. Nice setting insidebor outside. Friendly staff that take the time to answer your questions.

What makes this restaurant amazing is the unfamiliar taste of their cuisines. It will teach you to leave your comfort zone of what tastes you have been used to. The restaurant s team of chefs works with the ingredients and reshaping them into surprising and spectacular dishes. When I ordered their beef steak for the first time, the first chew was kind of weird but after the second and third taste, it was astounding. I ve never had tasted as savory as that beef steak before.

Good was amazing. Simple but do excellently executed. Salad was ok not great. We had brunch last Saturday to celebrate my mother in law's Mother's Day. Server left some dirty plates on table throughout the meal, however, he seemingly was on his own with our table, not the usual serving team that you typically see.

The food was amazing as well as the service. The blue crab cake eggs Benedict was phenomenal.

We love this place! Definitely a go to restaurant for all things brunch, lunch and dinner. I had their pork special last night and it was amazing! Our server was a tad slow with drinks at the beginning, but was great overall. I highly recommend this place if you're in the area!

Anthony was a great server. He served us on his first day and knew everything about the owners, restaurant, and menu. He gave us a great dining experience. The next time we came by he stopped by the table to say hello and wanted to make sure we were well taken care of. A true gentleman!

I ve dined here twice, both times on business. The restaurant is in an old feed store/general store, (so I was told,) so there is great exposed brick and repurposed space. It s a great restaurant for a relaxed and nice atmosphere, paired with fantastic food and drink. It may get a little noisy at peak times but there is an upstairs you can request for quieter meetings. The food is delicious and I ve not had anything bad. Recommended!

Service and attention by wait staff was slow and unattentive. Menu was appealing and priced moderately.

This was my first time and the food was delicious! I agree with other reviews that the restaurant is somewhat hard to find, but it is well worth the search! The toffee pudding cake is also very yummy so make sure to save room for dessert! :-)

From the first sip to the last bite it was impeccable service and by far the best food I ve had in San Antonio. Nice selection of cocktails. Busy but not noisy. Relaxed but very prompt. One of the best Gumbos outside N.O. with delicious Crab cakes ( I m very, very picky on that) and scrumptious desserts and coffee desserts.

Cappy's is a great place for lunch or dinner. Nice ambiance, good service and the food is consistently good.

Excellent place as all know but a bit difficult to deal with on a Sunday morning. They have their Brunch menu and that's it. If you don't like what's on the Sunday menu? You're out of luck. I didn't like my choices and got no substitutions, no sympathy and no luck - I didn't like what I had to order. My fault - I should have checked before I went. I didn't know but you do now!!

The restaurant is lowkey. Pretty cool furniture and nice natural lighting that leaks through the place. The food was ok. The server that we got was April. She was super nice and sweet. Very accommodating.
The dish I got was the Commodore.

Updated for Sunday Brunch. Very good. Service is still awesome. Brunch has quite a few interesting takes on Eggs Benadict. You can't go wrong with brunch at Cappy's. Only complaint is butter ... Cappy's please bring real butter with pancakes immediately. Should not have wait. Nothing worse than hard butter on cold pancakes.

Service was great, cocktails are perfect and the food was Amazing . Worth every penny over and over again!

Nice place to have a good sicial meal. Parking may be difficult during rush hours and it may take time for the food to be ready, but it's worth the waiting.

Tried this place because i saw the good reviews compare to other restaurants in that area! Food was incredibly bland, no taste and overpriced. Service was acceptable, but definitely not enough to justify the completely flavorless food.

Loved everything about this place. We went there for brunch. The restaurant itself is beautifully laid out and decorated. The food was exceptional; I will be going back there for their beef tenderloin. The drinks menu was pretty eclectic. The service was very good. Ample parking spaces. The place may get busy, so I would recommend reservations, though not required. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

Ok if looking for smug hosts with ridiculous mask policy.
