The women at the front desk was extremely rude and dismissive. The first time I went asking for information, she pointed to a sheet. Then I asked if I could look around and she pointed to the facility. Then when I went to join her attitude was appalling.

Great place to work out, I started by doing the Women be Fit program a year ago which is exceptional. I love that there are classes to choose from, as I am not a machine person. All classes except the Women be fit program is included in your membership which is great. Health works is a great addition to our Community

This place is great to join to workout and to feel supported! Healthworks at Codman is only a gym. There is no pool or spa. However, they have other perks. This gym has a ton of workout classes, childcare Monday-Thursday from 5pm to 8pm, great staff, community engagement events that empower the women and help women grow in wellness through networking events, offered certification classes to be a workout instructor, team challenge signups for the marathon and obstacle course races.... The list goes on. Definitely a community gym. They are also partnered with a local health center so sometimes they'll have advertised programs that teach about food, diet, health, research and cooking healthy classes. It's fantastic. I love this place. I started workouts here because they were the only gym I knew of with childcare. Because of that service, I was able to workout Monday -Thursday in the evening and on Saturday mornings to get back in shape after having my baby. With the motivation and encouragement of the staff, recognition board, and fellow gym members I continued going to the gym and making healthy diet choices...I went from 230lbs to 185lbs. Healthworks at Codman provided me with the machines and classes I needed to shed the pounds and get my sexy back! Yes, honey. It's a great place. I'm a proud member!

This gym has changed a lot over the years especially since it s under new management. A lot of the equipment was broken the last two times I went there and they don t offer a lot of classes like they use to. I canceled my membership after being a member for 5 years.

I ve experienced the worst customer service with the manager Gib she s very rude, snappy, and down right ignorant. She called me a girl and walk to her door yelling at me to get out of her office. I so badly wanted to cry cause by calling me a girl she knew she was putting me down racially instead of just calling me the N word. I will never step into this facility and can see exactly why the gym has been empty lately due to the staffs nonchalant attitudes and not caring for the community they are supposed to help. All of this because I m in a so callles poor neighborhood and got a referral from my doctor to come to this gym. I hope healthworks knows their staff is doing more damage to our community than help!
