This Clinic is a Community lifeline.
They serve the many uninsured and underinsured residents of Escambia County. The doctors fall under the rules of a program ran by the State of Florida. Once a patient meets the State eligibility requirements, all medical care and medicine is given free of charge to their patients. All doctors, nurses, and support staff are volunteers.
I know some of the workers and they are very committed to their patients. I admire those who give their time. These are our everyday HEROS. God bless each of you.
This is the absolute worst thing anyone can ever do for their health. They do not listen. They do not care. They have nurse practitioners discounting the opinions of neurologists and epileptologists. I needed interim help due to aging out of insurance and getting insured again. They tried gave me two different meds that are actually known to cause seizures. The doctors and staff are extremely rude. It has been the worst medical experience I have ever had
What a joke this place is!! First place, it took me months to be able to speak with someone about being a new patient. You call during the time that they tell you to, but you can never get ahold of anyone!
I finally was able to speak with someone, only to be told that I couldn't be a patient there because they have to look at household income, and my "roommate" (we are not married) makes too much money! His income has nothing to do with me, he pays his own bills and I pay mine! If I didn't have a roommate, I would be homeless, as I do not make enough money to pay rent! The person I spoke with on the phone tried to tell me that its a law in FL, that they have to look at the household income. I guess you have to be homeless and living on the streets before they will help you. Thanks, now I can't get medical care that I need!

I took my wife here because she had a really bad toothache and we couldn't afford to see a dentist. The website says they accept walk in patients for dental emergency and wisdom tooth extraction. We waited for an hour and then... They told us that there is a 6 month waiting list and they would not even look at it. But Jesus loves you right? Not their Jesus.
THEY HAVE BEEN AN ANSWER FROM GOD!!!! I HAD SO MANY HEALTH PROBLEMS, DUE TO GOING SO LONG NOT QUALIFYING FOR INSURANCE, THAT I HAD GIVEN UP!! THEN I FOUND HEALTH AND HOPE!! AND THATS JUST WHAT THEY ARE. THEY TAKE CARE OF YOUR HEALTH AND GIVE YOU HOPE! EVERYONE IS EXTREMELY WONDERFUL!!!! I KNOW GOD SENT ME THERE. THANK YOU EVERYONE AT HEATH AND HOPE!!!
