Honestly if you have a death wish go to Kingston hospital . I understand the issues going on with nurses BUT the care is horrible.. having asthma and not being able to breathe was told to stop being dramatic until the doctor came in and ordered a breathing treatment bc I had fluid in my lungs. Left in pain and with soiled clothing from being sick for over 3 hours and simply discharge to be rushed to another hospital with crashing vitals and ended up staying there for 5 days. That s how much Kingston hospital cares for you! Vassar hospital had no nurses YET had attentive care to the point I m still alive! Please if you could DO NOT GO TO KINGSTON HOSPITAL

I had heel spur surgery here yesterday and I could not have been happier with the ENTIRE staff and their treatment of me. From the receptionist in the lobby, to the nurses station nurses, to the RN Donna (who quickly became my buddy), to the Anesthesiologist, to the very caring and calming surgical technicians, to my surgeon Dr. Dunham....each and every person was very kind, efficient, and knowledgeable. The hospital was very clean as well. I was a nervous wreck and they really made me calm and did a fantastic job! I would recommend this hospital to anyone and everyone!!!!

I was brought to Kingston Hospital by ambulance, septic. I'm not so fond of how my husband was treated, covid or not, he was ignored and they were rude and they need to work on that. BUT, I received impeccable care from doctors and nurses during my recovery

Sorry I can't give it 0 stars. Again take my grandson to the the ER at 3:30 pm on Monday. He's 19 so we dropped him off and told him to call, and someone would get him. 7:30 pm he isn't out of the lobby. Healthcare Alliance of the Hudson Valley is a scam operation and should be avoided when humanly possible. They finally took him in to see him at 945pm.

I has a total knee replacement and the staff in the OR and recovery areas were superb. When I was brought upstairs, the nursing staff was attentive and on the mark. My only regrets is a lack of recognition of spinal block anesthesia consequences and breakfast.

Shout outs to Larry, Pam and Aubrey in OR and to Jane, Tara, Ostiella and Helen.

And to Dr. Amos who did figure out the spinal block problems and guided me through them successfully

Showed up with a missing finger tip and the TEAM came through... a 2"x12"x12' found it's way down to the cement slab quick and hard. With enough force to not just hurt but crush the tip of my finger o-f-f! From the moment I walked in top notch service. In fast track today around 11am. Thank you Marlene, Tatiana, and Dr Robert. I was able to get fast-tracked and on the path to recovery quicker than I could possibly of hoped. Please upper management,,, remember this around promotion/raise time. Marlene for swift and timely help, Tatiana for getting me registered and things, and Dr Robert for putting me back together. BTW I just got back and typing all this one handed. Means that much

With all the Covid restrictions there should be some sort of a patient liaison to contact the families of how their loved ones are. Calling the nurses station get you no place. U leave a message and it takes hours for a call back.

Worst place to have an ultrasound. If you are pregnant, do NOT get a referral to have it done here. They do not care at all. You wait months, excitingly to have these ultrasounds and they do not care. The screen was not turned so I can barely see. During the whole ultrasound, they did not tell me what body parts we were looking at. I had to ask , because they obviously did not care to tell me. I was 5 months pregnant and they did not bother to try and find out what the gender was. They didn t ask me to change positions so the baby can move or anything. They simply did not care or bother to look for it at all.

This is the most ill managed medical facility I have ever heard of. Don't go there if possible.

Are you paying your back staff to stand outside with signss yelling at cars distracting drivers from paying attention to the road?! These nurses act like they are the only ones working I have work before through this whole pandemic I have not complained one time and the environment us essential workers work in is just as bad if not worse! If your so unhappy then get another job! I cannot believe your paying nurses to stand outside holding signs yelling at moving cars !
