Head Trauma Support Project: Providing Care and Support for Brain Injury Patients
Head Trauma Support Project (HTSP) is a non-profit organization that provides care and support to individuals who have suffered from brain injuries. The organization was founded with the aim of helping those who are medically fragile due to head trauma, including those with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) and Mild Traumatic Brain Injury (MTBI).
At HTSP, we understand the challenges that come with living with a brain injury. We know that it can be difficult for patients to cope with the physical, emotional, and financial burdens of their condition. That's why we offer a range of services designed to help patients and their families navigate these challenges.
One of our most popular services is our virtual Thursday evening caregiver support groups. These groups provide a safe space for caregivers to connect with others who are going through similar experiences. Our ABI and MTBI support groups also offer valuable resources for patients themselves.
To join one of our virtual support groups, simply email board.htsp@gmail.com to obtain the weekly links and meeting times. We understand that in-person meetings may not be possible during these uncertain times due to COVID-19; therefore, we have temporarily suspended all in-person meetings until further notice.
At HTSP, we believe that everyone deserves access to quality care regardless of their financial situation. That's why all our services are provided free-of-charge thanks to generous donations from individuals like you.
Our team at HTSP consists of experienced professionals who are passionate about helping those affected by brain injuries. From medical professionals such as neurologists and neuropsychologists, social workers specializing in traumatic brain injury rehabilitation programs as well as volunteers dedicated towards providing emotional support - each member brings unique skills which contribute towards making Head Trauma Support Project an effective resource for people dealing with head trauma related issues.
We also work closely with other organizations within the community such as hospitals or rehabilitation centers to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care. Our goal is to provide a comprehensive support system for those affected by brain injuries, and we are committed to achieving this through our various programs and services.
In conclusion, Head Trauma Support Project is an organization that provides essential care and support for individuals who have suffered from brain injuries. Our virtual caregiver, ABI, and MTBI support groups offer a safe space for patients and their families to connect with others who understand what they are going through. We are committed to providing quality care free-of-charge thanks to generous donations from individuals like you. Join us today in making a difference in the lives of those affected by head trauma!
