nice pub for food and cheap drinks but went saturday for breakfast and wasn't allowed with bicycle inside or on the terrace ,manager started yelling ,how nice as we always went there with thw bikes and no problemos .
Went in to the Hudson Bay for a couple of drinks and some food with some friends. Really good service from the bar, recommended some local ales to try out. Gave us tasters. Grabbed a cheap meal, which meant the pint was free. Can't really beat that. Atmosphere was good, the place was lively but not overly noisy and we still enjoyed a good conversation. Will definitely come back when I'm in the area.

Took my mum here for lunch. The bar staff were very friendly and our meal was, for the price, exceptional. The bar prices are fantastic and they have some great meal deals that includes a drink too. It has a nice beer garden with an area to smoke is you so wish.
Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I had a problem with finding one specific beer on an app of wetherspoon and duty manager (don t remember her name - Rosemary ?) spent with me couple of minutes to solve a problem and find solution how to place an order by using app. That s really kind and showing that everything customer matters. Well done and thanks for your outstanding service!
It's a wetherspoons, so you kinda know what you're getting - cheap, okay food (excluding the Christmas meal which is truly awful), a handful of decent cheap ales, and a noisy packed experience. The worst thing at the moment is having to put up with the owners political rantings displayed on numerous posters and leaflets - it does remind you of the sort of person whose pockets you're lining, which is a bit off putting.

Mornings are nice for breakfast. It's quiet and there are fewer people so service is quicker. Very good full English for only a fiver (and that's for a large).

A Weatherspoon's unlike any other, been drinking in there since I was a was a wee lad bout 14 I guess and can is say its magnificent, ales from the finest kegs, ciders from the finest boxes... Ohh yes and fake Jagermeister really gets the party going. The food is microwaved to perfection. Not a bad word to say.

Very unprofessional especially as she can't communicate with customers because her English is zero.

It's a watering hole, you just go there for the alcohol. And if that's why your there, you'll have no problems. Staff are nice and friendly, community feel about the place, no complaints!
This is my favourite Wetherspoons. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. Well kept beer and the food is always well prepared. The pub has the feel of a local rather than a high street pub and this is reflected in the number of regulars. This pub is a credit to the management and I'd be happy to employ anyone of the friendly and capable staff. Very clean and comfy Wetherspoons. Nice friendly staff. Only had coffee and toast in this one so far but very impressed. Only downside is parking. Other than that very good
It's awful as is the Golden Grove in Stratford, very poorly run pubs. Both of them. Witherspoon's don't care about the customer at all! Worst pub ever. Could be so much better if you looked after the regulars.
A reception was held for guests after the burial of my late husband on 4/4/18 at Hudson Bay, it was so unique, the staff were polite, and their food and drink reasonable.
I Thank staff, and management of this Pub for making the occasions memorable, though it was sad to loose loved one suddenly, as I did my husband.
Staff and customers excellent, however one senior staff arrogant, ignorant and a nasty piece of work let's the whole team down.
The staff is very kind, they got great food and most importantly there's beer. What more do you want?

Classic English pub ... atmosphere in dim light ... good variety of beers and spirits .. excellent fish and chips. Even here after 19pm minors not allowed.
In the black quarter ... you can get there by bus.
One of my favourite Spoons. Good selection of beers at cheap prices, laid-back environment and friendly staff.
Poor service but good food. Male toilets stink of urine and must have not been properly cleaned in years. Very nice manager.
Avoid this place until they decide to clean the toilets properly.
