It's a wetherspoons, so you kinda know what you're getting - cheap, okay food (excluding the Christmas meal which is truly awful), a handful of decent cheap ales, and a noisy packed experience. The worst thing at the moment is having to put up with the owners political rantings displayed on numerous posters and leaflets - it does remind you of the sort of person whose pockets you're lining, which is a bit off putting.
