The Forum is a great place to enjoy a film. A friendly and amenable staff including in the cafe which is spacious and comfortable. A place in short which for me always makes an occasion out of an event. One of the main outposts of Sheffields' growing culture of art. Thanks and seasonal regards. Jac x

We have had an office at the Workstation for 3 years now. Situated right in the city centre bang oposite the train staion, makes it an ideal location. Having a great cafe downstairs also helps. The venue is alway spotless and verry trendy with wooden flooring and comfy sofa's . Make s a great imprestion for our visitors The receptionists do a great job at making everyone feel welcome and go out of their way to brighten up the day.

Always has great alternative films on. My favourite cinema in Sheffield simply because of how unique it is. They also do great deals for 16-25 year olds so it's excellent for students. The cafe serves great food and drink too and the staff are always very friendly.

Cinema facilities are fantastic. Tickets and snack of so cheap compared to big cinema chains. I do think that there needs to be some kind of rules enforced though. The screening at people coming in late and disturbing the film, people talking through the the trailers, and generally poor guest etiquette. Overall though, the cinema it's self is fantastic.

I love The Showroom! I used to live in Sheffield and was a regular visitor for films, food and drink but hadn't been back since I moved away 18 months ago. Went with my family at the weekend to see a kids film and we all - me (47), partner (44) and two kids (10 and 6) - had a great time. Staff, food, drink and cinema all as lovely as before. Partner is now vegan and she was delighted to have a choice of two different vegan cakes in the bar to take in to the cinema (we liked how they packed the cake into a takeaway box!) And as a non-vegan myself, I loved the range of normal cakes and ice creams. Highly recommended!

Nice cinema with loads of screens and showing a variety of films. Reasonably priced too, the cheapest in the area I can find for a student like me! The bar is a good touch too, meeting up with friends for drinks before a showing allows the fun to start before the film!

Best cinema in Sheffield! Not massive screens but never seems busy, not full of annoying kids, great selection of independent films, good seats and accepts meercat 241. Showroom bar does food and drinks, coffee cakes and you can take then in. (Not meals but drinks!)

My favourite cinema in all of Sheffield. Shows quality films at quite reasonable prices (compared to Cineworld). The staff are always friendly, hard working and know their cinema. The bar serves great beer, again at fair prices, and the food is outstanding! We used their chefs to cater our wedding and it was incredible! They hold celluloid Screams horror festival each year, which is always a highlight of my October, and the seats are comfy enough to want to spend 3 days in. The cinema itself is modern and clean, with the bar recently having a lovely refit. If you want top quality films, food and drink, there's nowhere else to go other than the Showroom.

Cinema with a personality! Loved its individual style. Smaller than your average cinema but that adds to its appeal. Comfortable seating, attentive staff, aesthetically pleasing and a unique vibe. Perfect location right across from a major train station.

Popcorn tasteless and chewy like cardboard. Long queues. Seats in movie theatre average. Went to see mary and the witch. Will stick to light cinema (only went to showroom cos the movie wasnt shown at light). Did get a free promotional poster for mary and the witch though.

Such a lovely venue. All staff really helpful and polite. Good films as well as good cult film options. Brilliant Q and A with director after the film - not use to finding such a diverse options at a cinema. Keep up the good work!

A great independent cinema always showing a wide range from current blockbusters to niche independent stuff. The screens are quite intimate and the seating comfortable. The Bar/cafe serves a decent selection of independent ales with the typical cinema snacks.

The showroom is a quirky little cinema with 4 screens and a bar which serves food. A wide range of films are shown here including the big blockbusters but also independent and foreign films. The snacks available are high quality and reasonably priced. My only gripe is that the seats are not quite as comfy as other cinemas.

Easily the best cinema in Sheffield. Great atmosphere and still less than a tenner for a ticket (less than a fiver if you're 26 or younger). Even the bar is great, reasonably priced, and allows drinks to be taken into the film!

An interesting varied menu of films in an iconic building with a good cafe. ..oh ..and it's across from Sheffield station, so easily accessible. Visited from Sunday to Tuesday as part of the Docfest.

I love the showroom it's so cosy and good but it could be great. Beetroot humus was fabulous BUT it's Veganuary and this is the kind of place you expect to embrace this. One vegan cake which was dried out and passed its best. More vegan food please.
