Attended this cinema for the first time yesterday evening and was thoroughly impressed. Clean, sleek and professional whilst still holding onto the personality that you expect of an independent cinema by providing excellent customer service. I arrived very early, and exceedingly soggy from the rain, for my intended showing and for personal reasons didn't feel able to tackle their thriving and busy bar environment (it's great, just not for me). Staff kindly allowed me to sit in their closed cafe whilst I waited for my film to start. Their considerations of me personally was amazing, definitely not what one experiences at the big chains. Thank you for your kindness. I will be back.

Brilliant Solo Independent Cinema, only one in the North UK. Has a small bar/restaurant attached with fancy beers and tasty food. Regularly has live events like open mic and Comedy workshops. Also has an auditorium attached, which regularly hosts love events such as comedians and small minimal theatre shows.

Went for an event of +50 people involving video presentation. There are venues with more personality but a great choice for such a function and staff always friendly and accommodating when we come down for Goodgym on a Monday

I love this cinema. The bar and restaurant are fantastic, you could just go for the food! But the screens are great too. They have film discussion meetings and a lot of independent cinema. I am a big fan.

Such a wonderful little independent cinema. Always a great range of blockbusters and art house/documentary/international films to choose from. A great place to hang out in Sheffield, the bar has a good selection and the food is good too!

I love this cinema. It is a really quirky place showing smaller, independent films compared to the bigger competitors. The staff are friendly and really helpful. The only downside is the lack of parking but aside that it is excellent.

A very well established arts cinema, located near the station. The seats are comfy and sound system good. Several annual film festivals held here each year Docufest a festival of documentary being rh most popular. Food and beer are ok. Now has an outside area which is good in the warm weather. Worth looking at what's on if you like film.

Really like this place, such a wonderful range of films and film festivals for kids to horror fans. A number of screens. Could do with more comfortable seating and more staff on the confectionery counter during busy times.

Lovely cinema, great bar and restaurant too. They show an interesting range of films and the showings are always clean and quiet. Nice atmosphere. A little more expensive than you might pay elsewhere. My fave Sheffield cinema.

Went to see live filmed show of Jamie - excellent show and the Showroom was lovely to see it in with air con and comfy seats. We had lunch after and the food was really good with fast service. There isn't a huge amount of choice on the menu but everything we had was tasty and reasonably priced.

Shows all the film's the big cinema's don't show and for a smaller ticket fee. The food in the restaurant is consistently among the best in Sheffield. I always look forward to dinner and a movie at the Showroom

I was really surprised how good it was here. I'd always judged it from its somewhat faded exterior. We saw the best of SHAFF in screen four, which was much bigger than I expected. Pity the bar was closed when we came out.

Went here yesterday as a MS group, had our own space, but what a farce.Ordered food from a waitress, then she came back and asked us to pay separately as they do not run tabs. So, went to pay for my food order at the bar to be told the debit card system was down after ten minutes of waiting she then asked me can I pay with cash. To which I said, I have no cash on me, she then told me there is a cash machine at the station. If bars and pubs are catering for groups they should do their research as to how able the group are to do certain things

Great films, screens, bar, food. Have been a regular since it opened. Have loved it all that time. Not least because it shows films that just aren't showing at the big multiples. It also hosts a number of terrific festivals throughout the year, for example doc fest and shaff (the Sheffield adventure film festival) and literary events. Highly recommended

Great venue. Went for a wedding reception and the staff were so friendly. It's small but had room for dancing and for people not to but still feel involved. A good selection of drinks for a function room and you could always go the main bar.
