Not really a casino. Only a card club. No slot machines. Too far from Los Angeles.

Definitely a lot better than it's old location. More of a club atmosphere in the bar area. Not as crowded in the poker room.

You'll lose a ton of money gambling here. The system is rigged. Save your money and go to Vegas instead.

The food is very expensive and bad, you have to wait, at least 45 minutes to 1 hour 20 minutes and your order arrives , average 45 minutes cold and it is a very long way to the kitchen and someone from the kitchen, brings it to the waiter. The bathrooms are very dirty all the time. They are dry toiletries, with no water to flush . They smell badly. They don't use specific rules or regulations for the games. Every, dealer, floormam and supervisor make their own decisions, which differ from each other and are usually wrong and confusing and different from all other casinos, I have been to.I could give you many example.All their employees, including the food supervisor, supervisors, doormen, dealers, food service and others, are very aggressive, unfriendly, rude, speak very bad English, disrespectful, lack knowledge and experience, without proper training.They are intolerant, shout at you, humiliate you and make you uncomfortable and disrespectful. Very much so, that at one time, I went to other casisinos for the period of 13 months and stayed away from this casinos and felt very happy.for example, early this morning it, after playing in.the casino for 6 hours.The dealer disrespected me badly and the floormam gave her a wrong advice, while I was banking. At the Paygaw.The supervisor snatches the glass of juice from my hand, scratching severely on my right hand, forcing me to have 6 stiches.at my right hand in the hospital and file a report and the complaint at the police precinct. He then kept shouting at me and the rating me and telling me that I am barred. I has no choice, but to curse him, the dealer and the casino out of frustration and despair..I assure that neither myself, nor my relatives, nor my friends, will ever enter your casino, .nor the members of the casinos association of Orange Count gamblers for the rest of my life.I was the owners( the doctor) very 1st customer, back in the trailer. May God have mercy on his soul

Great place! I love going but the last 10 times it's "donks" who play $40 NLHE ($2/$1 blinds) & will call my 4x raise with A3, c'mon really?
FOLD AJ if you're not going to win, last Thurday (Feb 12th) I had AhKh and a Jack and Ten on the flop. He called my preflop raise of $6 and on the flop he and I checked, on the turn a second spade appeared and he bet $20. I had a gutshot straight draw, I needed a QUEEN.
I thought a while and someone called time but I came to the conclusion the odds of getting a Queen was 1 in 14.5, plus teo cards were diamonds and two were spades (2 poss. flush draws), so I folded showing my suited AK of hearts. He showed QsQd!!!
I was right to fold!

Othertimes, I've had AA from the start and 72o takes it to the end with me and wins with 77722, 22277, 77772, 22227 or 7722x or 2277x. And raising preflop is useless, everyone calls.

When I go to the casino and sit at the $40 no-limit table I'm sitting down with only $40 in my wallet and a few dollars to take the bus back, that is it. Everyone else who sits down has at least a couple hundred dollars so if they lose that $40 they don't care.
I only bring $40 which is ONE CHANCE so that way I play like its $10,000!

One time I had aces and eights and the other guy had ace and Jack and the flock Patanase in the river had a Jack and he looked at as cards and I guess he didn't notice he had two pair but he threw his cards in the muck and the dealer looked at them and said sir you won and gave the pot to him and I called it a major fell because that player mucked his cards and I even had them review it on camera but yet they chose his side anyways comma I lost almost $100 but they gave me a free hat. I burned the Hat by the way.
And now the free sodas are $0.50 a piece.

Love that this casino is right off the freeway, I'm still new to poker, but got my money's worth last time I was here. The food is amazing, I've been all over Hawaiian Gardens and surrounding area, and this place has the best food. They have an international menu, but their asian food is amazing, a lot better than Commerce or the Bike. I noticed that they are building a new casino which should be open sometime later I believe. It's a lot bigger than the current casino so definitely looking forward to it!

Best local casino for friendliness but lack of waitresses for food and drinks.

Despite a new facility, the tables lack USB ports and the casino is dark.

I would have to say the gardens is probably the best looking inside and out casino in the Los Angeles area.

Good Poker Tournaments but although only English should be spoken at the tables it not enforced.

The Casino is beautiful now that it has been remodeled even down to the classy extras that were installed in the restroom...(urinal foot floor grated drains to catch all the missed shots, that were actually engineered really well). The toilets are high quality with extreme flushing power, and the point I'm getting to is that the toilet seats have a (tab) on the side of the lift up seat so that if you lift it by hand, you never touch any part of the toilet. I never saw that one before, and maybe it will encourage all those lazy ass people to stop pissing all over the seats.

Staff is pleasant. Floor persons, Ronald, Charlie and Margie are excellent at their job! We always enjoy our time spent at The Gardens Casino.

The food is AMAZING, the casino itself isn't too shabby either depending on your luck!:-)

This place has a really cool atmosphere, helpful dealers and fun/cheap tournaments. Would recommend this place to anyone

This is not the Gardens of yesteryear. It is completely redone - I no longer feel like a loser for hanging out here.

However... what's up with the lack of service in the bar area? Takes forever to get food, pay your tab, etc. Restaurant area sometimes has service, other times does not. Manage this thing you guys.

Since we are in LA it's so safe to say
It was a facelift .

Umm it's like working all summer in 100 degree heat and getting paid minimum wage. It sucks

Without a doubt the best poker room in Cali. Just wish they offered a 1/2 Big O game.

I have never won here after many trips to the poker, blackjack and baccarat tables. I think the house odds are very stacked and there are many good poker players here. They have updated the place and it looks like a real casino now instead of a circus tent. Pretty good food and bar to drown your sorrows from losing.

I understand that they have the worst players in poker history....

BUT............

The management and dealers are what makes the place horrible (especially Gary...the manager/supervisor)

I have played poker for a long time and watching there rules change from day to day...enforcing some rules and then not the following day....

The crowd there are the very lowest on society levels.....

A bunch of losers and low life's....

Go to commerce if you want good poker and a MUCH better class of people....

They are betting that their new place will save them and bring back all the players they lost but the problem is that the same staff and players will be there...

AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!!!!!!

It is good when Jack pot of U T H too high but when this goes up high will make players try hard to get it so the player easy to loose more money and tired because they don't want to leave the table even 1 minutes
