Likely in Korea, but a little cheaper shopping center than Korea
This place is really fantastic! I have not seen such a huge shopping center anywhere in the world. In principle, it is a strictly commercial city with lots of stores of various industries and various brands, restaurants, bars, etc. Also with a lot of service salons. Moving around the center is best done with a map of this place due to the fact that it is huge.
My kids loved this beach so much especially in the morning, the tide is so low without waves, also the seafloor is consistently smooth with white sand. Should be a must to check it out.
It's Hawaii's largest open air mall. As of mid 2019 one end is anchored by Nordstrom and the other end by Macy's. There are numerous stores and restaurants/cafes that will cater to the general consumer.
Oahu is the Gathering Island and Ala Moana Shopping Center it's one of those wonderful places people gather to shop.
ALOHA.
Can t go wrong here! More choices than the ones at Kalakaua Ave.
Wow this place is huge with so many things on offer
I do the same thing every time I come to this mall... go to the food court! They have the most diverse and delicious food court I have ever been to. From sushi, to Filipino, to Korean to Italian and they are all authentic and delicious. Plus, the mall is beautiful with koi ponds and statues and misters when it's hot.
Big crowd but clean, various choices on food, careful with parking, shortage.
This mall have always been a great place to visit and constantly changing/ evolving as the years past. Geared more towards upscale shops and have excellent/numerous places to dine.
Super mall near the beach and downtown
Varied shop for any type of clientele
Very appreciated cleanliness, congratulations
Lots of shops, many higher end ones. Pricey for the most part. Great food court (especially the Japanese food court). Always found parking quickly.
Shockingly it was clean with lots of lighting and many stores to shop at as well as restaurants to eat... had fun
Great variety of stores and restaurants but parking is a nightmare.
Beautiful and well maintained shopping center. With almost only expensive stores. Foodcourner is very good.
It's Beautiful right now Christmas time. A lot of great stores to visit. You can get lost in that mall for hours.
Amazing mall. Probably to high end for me. Beautiful place anyway
For me, there are many shops I would like to see and it is not enough for a day to see it until I'm satisfied.
There is a floor guide, but there is a half floor up and down floor like middle floor, so we got lost for a moment (lol)
Also, the location of the toilet was a bit inconvenient.
As in AEON Mall in Japan, there were not many in between shops, but in the second floor part of a small department store like Macy's, it was in a place not to put in immediately. So, we recommend you to check the location a little earlier and move.
A nice clean place to shop. Definitely a must if visiting Hawaii. Trolley recommended to get there, $2 per head. Taxi recommend on the return trip to hotel with all your bags.
An expensive place to shop but plenty of shops to find what you need. they have a great food court too! Stop by shirokiya if you're over 21 for $1 dollar beers!!
There is quite a change after one year.
Too wide ~
This shopping center in Hawaii is .massive. Ranging about 6 blocks you day is spent dwelling in beautiful surroundings and kind people who are willing to help if asked. Every thing from Clare's to Designer Shops.. Make you feel at home...
The Ala Moana Center is definitely the Mall away from home..
A must see, if you are into shopping. Great restaurants, etc.
The shopping center is easier to shop.the only thing the restroom on the ground floor needs to open earlier.cause there's customers.eating breakfast at McDonald's early.after needs to use the restroom..atleast it should be open at 8:00am instead of 9:30am I would really appreciate if. Something can workout for this matter.thank you!!
Really nice, lots of designer things, however too expensive. Love the little fish and the palm trees inside, though.
The red bean filling made my ube and taro swirl amazingly perfect!
I miss the old center when locals could shop there. Now they have designer stores mainly for the tourists. The center is like all designer malls in the USA. Nothing unique to Hawaii.
It is a general shopping mall where you can shop from luxury goods to low-priced products and food at a time. There is a food corner on the first basement floor and Korean food is really delicious.
A lot of people but the real treat was the Asian food court, bring your appetite.
Ala Moana center is top notch. What more can be said? Parking is easy, everything is spacious, clean and nice, great selection of retail stores, restaurants, and entertainment places, excellent location, friendly staff... The list goes on.
Huge, beautiful open air mall with almost anything you're looking for!
The food court is excellent, there are many shops, and the trolley is convenient.
Good place to do some shopping and to shop for everything that you need.
Hard to beat this mall. Definitely one to visit while in Hawaii.
Very high level mall you have any brand you ever can imagine
Too much emphasis on high end stores makes the shopping center less and less attractive.
Everything is useful, as the pink line will also stop.
Very huge mall. Lots of higher end stores. A newer Target too!
There is an array of shopping options, ranging from high-end to everything else. If you want to navigate the mall please use the maps in the mall.
Don't be like me.. I relied too much on my trusted Google maps and got misdirected too many times.
Biggest shopping center in the area with nice Japanese food court in the basement, can't go wrong with that
It's a satisfying place in every way, but it's a bit pricey for the most important price.
I am too big and I am tired of walking. I'm tired of waiting.
If you're into big malls with all the stores then this is for you
Modern indoor/outdoor mall, different for someone from the northeast US. All the stores you might expect and more.
Ala Moana Center is a great place to shop, eat lunch, or just wander around. With four levels of shops, you can spend the whole day window shopping and still not cover everything. My favorite is a slow crawl through the food court. Let the family go while you check-out how many different types of sushi you can find.
Sad to see the cosmetic change . I grew up to adult hood looking forward to seeing the (seniors )aunties and uncles sitting between sears and longs. And all the kids with thier fingers in the Koi fish ponds in hopes to pet one. Change is good, but I can't afford 80% of the stores. Mahalo
Shopping enthusiasts won't be able to get items that aren't in Japan.
A relaxed shopping centre to shop. Dont forget to add the tax to the price!
The mall is great with a lot of choices and great atmosphere . The food court was not very impressive . There were limited options and not many healthy foods available .
The food court is unlike any other.. you can find every type of food here...
Very huge shopping mall with everything, but be careful not to get lost in it
Good place to go with friends or just go shopping.Theirs a lots of different store all around and theirs is a
Big food court
Upscale stores very clean. Helpful employees in Louis Vuitton,Porsche design,Godiva. Paradise bakery not so friendly.
So much to do here got to go a few times to get it all in! Food, shops, entertainment it s all here!
Booming mall, high end stores and great food choices
We love the Ala Moana shopping centre!!! Awesome shops - don't miss Ross Dress for less for amazing bargains, Barnes & Noble for incredible books, gifts, stationary & the food court is outstanding!!! We tried several different foods here & they were all delicious - especially Sbarro strombolli & pizza ;)
Fantastic shopping, great food court and amazing restaraunt and bar level.
Huge...but every detail is fantastic. Great stores, friendly service, and beautiful architecture. A great place to shop if you are near Honolulu. (Good luck seeing it all!)
Large mall with lots to see. There are a good number of local shops here as well. There are also a good number of places to eat.
