An awesome church where love and honor is always at the top of everything I've been involved in. It's totally different from the mainstream church. But what I love the most is how Holy Spirit is free to move I love the classes they offer where you can grow in your gifting and then practice your gift. I have found my tribe.
Wonderful church, godly leaders, beautiful worship, right on sermons, just incredible. It is 10 out of 10. LOVE going whenever I can. Too bad for me it's an hour drive so I can't be there every Sunday.

Having been in ministry for years, due to different ssasons in life, I had not found my home church for many years. As soon as I walked in, there was genuine happy, joyful greeters and members who welcomed me.
As a worship leader, I felt totally overjoyed and blessed by Pastor Kenny Peavy, whose humbleness and passionate leadership brought me into the place that I could worship freely in God's Presence inspite of the serious emotional pain I was experiencing.
Lead Pastors Karl and Deborah Malouff warmly and gently welcomed me into HRock Fellowship. Their love and ministry to me helped me walk through what I had to and to entr back into ministry.
Apostles Che and Sue Ahn, are such warm, loving, humble leaders. Pastor Che's messages are straight from the Word, full of love, truth, and power of Holy Spirit. The moving and leading of Holy Spirit is expected and welcomed. Evangelism is core at every meeting. Many come to accept Jesus daily and weekly, finding help and hope, and freedom from addictions and pain and hopelessness that living life without Jesus brings.
People's lives are healed and changed. People find Jesus and the love of the Father here through the love of HRock family.
All are welcomed. HRock is a diverse, large multi-cultural and all ages fellowship. There is a spirit of friendship, servanthood, honor and joy.
So, even though we aren't perfect, and no church is, the many loving Pastors,elders and others in ministry and members, is fantastic.
If you are looking for Jesus, and love and fellowship and healing and hope and home and direction and purpose in your life, you will find it through our family at HRock.
Come give us a try. I'm sure you'll be surprised and blessed. I totally was and am continually happy, thanking the Father daily for Himself, His Love, and HRock Church, He placed me in.
Sadly this building went from housing The Worldwide Church of God (a cultic organisation) to a Joel Osteen endorsed heretical church. False doctrine and heresy is taught from the pulpit. Joel Osteen and his teachings are of a quazi-panthiestic mindset and such teachings come from Satan. This theology is corrupt and damaging to true Christianity. Best to steer away from HRock (formerly Harvest Rock). Good options are Eagle Rock Baptist, Grace Community Church (Sun Valley), and Sovereign Grace Church of Pasadena.

Started coming here 2 years ago but was actually introduced by one of it's network churches in Richmond BC, Newjoy church. When I moved to SoCal, I started attending Hrock and it has given me a community of honoring Christians with a passion for Christ!
I came from a baptist "religion" mentality but when I came to HRock I learned to have a relationship with God and THAT changed my life for ever, and when I heard the small still voice I fell in love with Abba more than life it self and now I'm a member... May the Lord continue to bless our church.
It's my third time coming to this church. There's a lot of freedom to worship where you can be yourself. The sermons are so instructional and encouraging. You feel you are being lead and taught by the Holy Spirit. You feel the presence of God. That's what I was looking for in a church. The Trinity IS preached here. Salvation and bautism. People are very nice. The pastor is so down to earth. His preaching are simple, clear to understand and bible based. Thank you Lord for bringing me here after years of looking for a church like this. I came across HROCK almost one year ago and my life has been blessed beyond belief since the very day I walked through their doors. Every word given has been so helpful and beneficial to me and to my heart. My husband and I cannot get enough of HROCK. The worship team is amazing!!! I am a student in the School of Super Natural Ministry which again has changed my life and has been mind blowing. Thank you to HROCK for the unconditional love that you give each and every one of us. I have been blessed with the healing and the prophetic at HROCK.
I Love the atmosphere in this place, I don't know anybody there, but Jesus; & that's all that they are about it, the worship is powerful, really into The Lord, they aren't performing, they really usher us into His presence, to worship together
Hrock is a vibrant, family-oriented church that unashamedly preaches the whole gospel. I feel so loved here!
I have been a member in this very warm, caring and loving church for over 12 years. First in Mott Auditorium and then in Ambassador Auditorium in Pasadena. This church is under the guidance of a spirit filled leadership, they believe in the Bible as the Word of God, you can experience healing and receive a prophetic word. The Holy Spirit is felt at all Worship services and the sermons are scriptural.
Enjoy and we will welcome you at church. Services are currently Sundays at 9:30 AM and 11:30 AM.

To the lady who spoke on Indecent exposure All the pastoral stuff are of the highest character, honorable and self respecting people. I have been affiliated with this church for over 21 years and can attest to their humility, honor. They are all of. Impeccable character and are Brothers and sisters in Christ whom I am honored to be associated with. .
I personally feel that they set a very clear and godly example for their parishioners. They are approachable in a world where there are many sitting on their thrones of religious hierarchy and judgement.whom are NOT. . those who judge by appearance the depths of a persons faith and spiritual commitment to Christ and the God the father Great Creator . Those who are themselves unapproachable. The Bible also says judge not lest you be judged and so I think it s best believe God on the throne and let him have the ultimate and last word . Personally I m just grateful they re in church hearing the word and being fed . And the way our pastors may dress or may not dress.. maybe just, maybe makes those who are on the fence a little more open to receiving from somebody they can relate to . Like I said it s not our place to set for judgment and I guess if it s something you re not comfortable with than that s your own believe system and you ll ultimately have to make your own decisions of where you re most comfortable. But like I stated before it s not our place to judge. I know they've done a lot of good on behalf of the Lord .. as well through their humanitarian efforts and in Living out their faith by example to the Community and their congregation.

Solid Bible based preaching combined with authentic community makes Harvest Rock a fantastic place to develop in your faith. Whether you aren't sure if God even exists or have followed Jesus for many years, this is a wonderful place to continue your journey.
Visited HROCK Church with a friend a couple months ago and really enjoyed the atmosphere. The music was great, I always prefer a full band and the acoustics are amazing in the Ambassador Auditorium. Also, I love the 9:00 or 11:00 time slot (I always have difficulty getting up early on Sundays so 11:00 works great)
STOP INDECENT DRESSING!
I come to this church often and the preaching is good. But leaders and even some of the Christians need to check their modesty. There is too much indecent dressing.
The dress code of Pastors is not appropriate for born again Christians. Mini dresses, tight and distressed pants like worldly people. Check the current website picture of the senior pastors! I was checking it out just now for information and was put off. I have several new converts I brought to Christ but I may have to get them another church because they won't see the difference from the world with such indecent dressing.
Please leaders, stop dressing like Jezebel.
According to 1 Timothy 2:9-10, women are to dress appropriately. Respect your bodies and other people looking at you.
Christian values are not only in accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior, but also presenting yourself worthy of His name and image. If you dress like a street woman looking for customers, thighs and all exposed, what message does that send to the ones you are trying to bring to Jesus! What mental images are you creating in the minds of the beholders? If they look at you and lust in their heart from your indecent dressing, will the Lord not hold you accountable for seducing spirits?
It's not too late to change. Be a worthy example because such disgraceful dressing should not be found among disciples of Jesus. Some will say God looks at the heart, but don't forget our actions are also to be accounted for.

I attended HRock for the first time at the beginning of 2016 and wow was I impressed. From how they treated me as soon as I walk into the church. It was beautiful, clean, unique, warming, and overall it was all about helping me feel comfortable as a firs time guest. I highly recommend this ministry and church I believe it is definitely one of the finest churches in the LA area.

Really enjoyed being at the Tuesday night service! Excellent worship, great sound, young diverse anointed band. Obvious the congregation are very free in their expression during worship. Passionate, fired up & challenging preach from pastor Jay Koopman on Joshua! Modern, high spec, contemporary venue. Would definitely come back. Hope to visit on a Sunday next time.

HRock Church is really one of a kind. The moment i walked into that building I knew it would launch me in my relationship with The Lord in a way that i couldn't imagine. They are extremely relational, real and supportive in your destiny for the kingdom of God. They walk the walk and talk the talk!!! <3
If you want really serious sermon that doesn't hold back that is fun modern worship and you can wear your jeans or however you want to come this is a cool place to go and there's parking right on the premises which is always a bonus in LA this is a really cool place. Lots of diversity here I highly recommended all ages all nationalities really a cool place
To God be the glory. My life was drastically changed. I am so greatful that the Holy Spirit led me to this church. There is such an over whelming presence of the Holy Spirit here. Worship is awesome and the teachings are life changing. On top of that the ministers are there for prayer and to be in agreement with you in whatever it is you're contending for. The SOZO ministry is outstanding! The only way to describe it is as if you're going into the operation room to undergo Holy Spirit surgery. Thank you father for these Pastors, ministers, worship team and all the others behind the scenes.Bless them and their families. Our God is an awesome God!
Having been away from church for many years, I was a little surprised by the worship as there was almost what I would call a rock band leading worship. A long way from the tamborine (sp?) and piano at my parents church. But Pastor Che is such a humble man that is just so real. His teachings really touch my heart. I now love the worship and the heart of this church community. I know charismatic churches aren't for everyone but if you want a church that is real and does not pretend to have it all together, this is the place for you. Your life will be transformed for the better.

Not so modern, but area is under construction. Great church community. Welcoming people. Missed the regular pastor and the sermon waa a bit political for me, but all in all, a good experience.

Hrock has become my church home this year. Great place to join in worship. Definitely gospel preaching. Leadership is down-to-earth and caring. Diverse congregation. I'm thankful to have found it. I've been there for 11 months and haven't found any false doctrine being taught. In reference to another comment, if Joel Osteen endorses turkey eating, I'll still eat it for Thanksgiving. I've never listened to him and don't plan on starting now.
I love Hrock church all the way. I love everything about this church.
The only problem right now is the worship has been extremely loud and I see people complaining about the volume and last Sunday I left the church my ears were buzzing. I hope they can correct this problem because it is a shame this beautiful worship be uncomfortable because the loud volume.
