Going back to Harvest is a ritual for us. This time for a late-afternoon rendez-vous with our son who just arrived from Oxford for the holidays. Some good drinks and burgers at the bar this time.

I like to go with friends to this place with my warmest recommendations. I visit this restaurant often. I get very good feedback from my friends. The dishes they serve are appetizing and the stuff is very friendly and cooperative. Every time we visit this place we enjoy a gorgeous time. highly recommended.

I come here with my family for brunch or dinner when they're visiting from out of town. They absolutely love it. My nieces are somewhat picky eaters but the kids menu is a hit. They're also able to offer gluten free options. Pricey but everything is great.

Come for an occasion and try to sit in the outdoor courtyard if the weather permits. The steak was cooked perfectly and the fries were light and crisp. The prix fixe is a great way to get a mix of tastes. It's right near Harvard so you're bound to be surrounded by students and their families. The bill is not for the faint-of-heart but for this fare it's worth every penny (especially for a special occasion.)

Outstanding! Fresh ingredients and exceptional service. An intimate and refined experience that blended modern, bold flavors. I especially enjoyed the lavender ice cream on the dessert dish for restaurant week.

Went here for our anniversary and the food was incredible. Awesome wine and (for myself) decent bourbon selection. Had a great server named Tim who surprised us with an anniversary dessert. Would definitely come again.

We ordered some wine as it had been a long week and the prices were very reasonable for the Italian and French whites we selected. They have a pretty large list of by-the-glass, bottles, and have every kind of variety you would want (unless you have extremely particular and rare tastes). The servers are fantastic and attentive.

My girlfriend and I went here during restaurant week - excellent food and great wine pairings. The service was a bit frantic - they seemed in a hurry to flip our table but otherwise it was a good experience.

The prix-fixe menu for New Year's Eve was wonderful. I had the paired wine selection, and it was on point with my dinner choices. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu, and gave his opinion with ease (which I like).

The Harvest has been in Harvard Square for decades...

The Harvest has been in Harvard Square for decades and remains our favorite, upscale restaurant. The food is always delicious (but not cheap). The tables are close together so the noise can get high, but the meal is worth this. We highly recommend The Harvest. Went to a small event here on a Saturday, the staff was very accommodating and the food was excellent. However, the website says they validate parking at two nearby garages. Taking 2.00 off of a 35.00 parking fee is not exactly validating! Kind of a bummer after a very nice evening. Leave and learn, call next time and ask what does "validate" mean.

I only went to this place twice when I was living in Cambridge because I couldn t afford it and other people were paying those times. But when I think about the classiest and most seamless, unpretentious fine dining experience I ve ever had, this is it. I would shell out now.

It's rare that I am so amazed at the quality, quantity and the level of service of a restaurant. Add to that the amazing atmosphere and it really is a winner. I live in Seattle, but am already looking forward to my next visit when I find myself in Boston again.

My first bite of the Ribs, the meat fell right off the bone. It was amazing! No sauce! Just clean meat deliciousness. I tried the 'Slaw, and then the Fries. They both complemented the Pork Ribs. I sat in my chair and savored the rest of my platter (check pics please).

Rude, average tasting food, and expensive. Had a 2pm reservation and the kitchen was "closed" transitioning between lunch and dinner therefore we had the bar menu. The hostess was rude when we arrived and the server was also not very friendly. The food was average tasting; we had the caesar salad with shrimp, deviled eggs and truffle fries (these were actually delicious). The dessert was tiny for $11 and the bill was over $90 with tip. There are better options in the area without the attitude and less expensive. Maybe lunch/dinner is better? I will not be back.

Food was TO DIE FOR. The mushroom dish was so good I wanted to lick the bowl. Tasted like thanksgiving stuffing. Our waiter, Matt, was super attentive and kind, and they wrote Happy Anniversary on our dessert plate in chocolate sauce (6 years!). Great place for a date. Amazing food. Amazing service.
