everything you could ever want is packed into an area 3X smaller then your average Walmart. Prices are okay, its nice to see paper bags as well. I worked there for almost 2 years since opening day! its a very very wonderful store but trust me the employees are not respected. they are told to do jobs which risk there employment and are not qualified to do. please, if you ever see someone being treated badly, say something, speak out!........... there have been too many close people who were damaged because of harsh words towards them, and then after those rude words fire them. people suffer working there. they lie about pay raises and lied to us about our starting wage. its truly not a happy place to work at so please, make the workers happy there. just give em a tip, $1 or $2 can really change there moods and I would know because there are men and women who suffer from their age and get NO benefits from working there, taxation is over the roof, and its part time jobs only, open jobs get no respect here.

Its up to the customers on how the place looks, make it look good everyone...

I honestly only go there for there food. I rarely grocery shop there for everyday items (too expensive). I buy my speciality items there, but primarily go there for quick lunch and dinner options. Great when you have lots of people who want to eat different things.

This grocery store has it all. They carry local vendors products, have a huge selection of organic products, a great restaurant and did I mention that you can have a cocktail in their lounge upstairs before you begin shopping. I am particularly grateful that they carry Wright Family Products, an organic body products complete line. If you haven't had a chance to check out this Harvest Market, you need to.

I went to Harvest Market for an event, which was very nice. But I give this store 3 stars because the parent company of Harvest Market pretty much replaced a County Market with this store, and the price differences are major. There was nothing that I saw in this store that was reasonably priced. They have a nice selection of items that I'd never seen before, but they are too expensive considering the company closed 2 County Market stores and made one store a discount store (but not really because it's not priced reasonably either).

The closest parallel to this store would be Mariano's. The selection here is amazing and has many hard to find items that my friends and I have been looking for around numerous groceries on campus. We'll be back!

Really good place to eat. Lots of tasty food very clean. I especially loved the seafood salad it was out-of-this-world fantastic. In fact all the food will season and very very tasty.
The only thing I have against this place was the bathrooms were a mess. They were very hot also no ventilation in the bathrooms. I was shocked at the state of the bathrooms. Please, try the food it is excellent.

Best selection of bulk grains, spices, and nuts in Champaign and the deli is phenomenal. Good sushi, good selection of hot/prepared foods. You pay a bit more on the "middle aisle" stuff like canned goods, but I would definitely return for produce and meat.

Fairly good selection, no Whole Foods, AWFUL bagging (like, I have just started insisting on bagging my own stuff. Tired of crushed veggies. There isn t a single person there that I ve encountered who thinks about how to put things in a bag.) Seriously considered giving 2 stars based on the bagging disasters alone. But given that their cheese selection and vegetarian options are pretty great, and we re in a small town, I am giving the stars back.

Went there to meet someone and eat. Stood at the food counter and waited for service. Several other employees at other stations noticed me but no one responded. I ended up not offering anything and just met with my colleague. It must have been an off day. The place is nice and clean. The food *looks* good.

I love harvest market, but today I went to try the sip and shop and Katherine was an amazing bar tender but I was rather distraught when I didn t have cash to tip her because your system for her doesn t allow your customers to tip on credit. Please fix this!!

Treat they employees unfairly. Wonder why it s a high turn over rate. Store prices are too high. Saab a terrible manager employees doesn t like him and the main reason why new employees quit because of him. But the store is nice

This place is really is trying hard to create a new kind of grocery shopping experience. The restaurant, the deli/prepared food section, and the bulk section are great separations from other similar stores.

As a vegan, I appreciate their efforts to stock a variety of options. I think their produce section looks nice, but feels crowded and doesn't make we want to shop there.

The store had a nice liquor and beer selection.

My only reason for 4 is the prices are a bit higher almost everywhere around the store.

One of my favorite place at Champaign. Very enjoyable for grocery shopping, friendly stuff, and comes with nice seating for eating and studying. Sometimes there are events like wine tasting to experience "American Life" for people like me coming from Asia.

after 1 year:
I come to review this great place and forgot I did a review already! Everything I said is true, one of the best place in Champaign!

Best baguette in town! It started at $1.99 but jumped up to $2.49 very soon:-((. Some other bread is good too when the Bakers are diligent. There was excellent black bread when they opened but the owner of the recipe left soon raking the secret with him. Pity!! Sometimes even baguette gets screwed up there- depends on the crew.
Speck is another rare item that they carry- love it! Olive bar is great. We love smoked salmon dip.
Pricey compared to other stores but has good sales sometimes.

Great place to relax and study above the grocery section of the store. Can grab a quick beer or mule as well. The food here is really over priced, however. Would recommend for a study spot or to get some $6 large pumpkins

Really great super market. They have a huge selection of organic and natural products. Looks nice and is clean. The front end could use some work. Cashiers would benefit from better/more training. But overall a great place to shop.

$$$. The coffee shop is alright. The general din of machine noise in the place is above what I am comfortable with. I tolerate it for short stays. My coffee group tried to use it as a meeting spot but the normal everyday volume level was too loud for six of us at a table to hear each other. We had to shout our conversations. That's no good. I think the all hard surfaces means there is nothing to absorb sound waves. They just accumulate and build.
I like the bulk food section. They have some good people who can help you with various areas of the store. The cost of the groceries encourages me to go to less expensive places for my everyday groceries but people who are happy spending more seem to like it.

I can't say enough good things about this place. The deli is absolutely amazing. I love the fact that they will cook things up for you at no extra charge. Quite the service and always helpful/friendly staff.
