Hartlepool Borough Council Review

Stil waiting for my bin to be emptied from 30th dec on phone for half hour and still no1 answered or messenger appauling service!!

A very bad council getting steadily worse, blaming cutbacks from central government for job losses, yet they will chop the bottom first to protect the golden pensions for the ones at the top, management don't sweep the streets, management wont work on the front desks for customer services, yet you make a complaint and the whole organization closes ranks against you.
And one of the highest council taxes in the country !
For little or no public services !

Rubbish council who dont listen to what the town people want just do their own thing

I am still dealing with three formal complaints. One of which was a very serious breach in our civil liberties in theform of illegal searches of our home and assault on the gaining of the illegal entry without warrants. The police refuse More

I say this as an ex-council employee but from another region.....Hartlepool Borough Council's reactions to complaints or requests for information is SHOCKING. You will never get a call back, even if going through what is sarcastically called "customer services". Unanswered phone messages, phones permanently on divert or left unhooked. In my previous employment we had to adhere to quality standards about responses and times, not this lot. An utter disgrace.

it's a shame that 1 star is the lowest option... this town, and council that run it, has become a joke!
Turning the street lights off to save money! I thought retrofitting them to LED lights would be enough, but apparently not. why didn't you just turn them off in the first place, instead of wasting time and money upgrading, to then just turn them off!!
These clowns need stopping!!

I would like to say thank you to Hartlepool Borough Council in the Hartlepool housing hub they're fantastic absolutely brilliant service
