Hartford Children's Theatre Review

Excellent event - my daughters had a blast with their engaging cast. Such talent!

I have been acting at NCTC since I was in second grade. This theater has given me great acting opportunities, as well as close relationships with the acting family. If you are a child of any age who wants to be a star, NCTC is definitely the place to start. The director of NCTC is a wonderful person, in and out of the theater. She does her best to make sure that every kid gets a perfect part and feels welcome at the theater.
If you are interested in seeing a show at NCTC, I highly recommend it. Our shows are high quality and climbing. While the NCTC venue is small, many school year shows have been performed elsewhere in the community, like at John Wallace Middle School. The money to see a show is definitely worth it. Even if you aren t normally a community theater person, you can enjoy feeling the positive energy come from the stage as you watch kids have fun fulfilling their dreams. You also get to see a great play, so it is a win-win!

There are really obvious favorites to the director. When I first got to this theatre I thought it was the best place ever. But now that I ve switched to a better theatre I know that this place was not gonna give me all the training and one on one time that I need to continue in this field.

Saw avenue a here production value was very high for community theater. The place was nice and really had a good time there. I would go back for another play

The show I was involved with went well, and it seems they generally to good work at NCTC.

Nice company of school aged children performing a variety of well known plays.

Amazing opportunity for children to express their inner selves and show off their talent and love for acting. Children enjoy coming to their practices to socialize and spend quality time. Friendly atmosphere where children strive to do their best while having fun.

I am a praticipant of this theatre. I reccomend this to kids who want to be a big star in the world.
