Operation may be a little faster. Delicious bouncer!
Room was well equipped with coffee maker etc. - a bit strange that you always have to reserve for breakfast and dinner. 15 also a decent price for a very average breakfast. Dinner really very expensive. The hotel itself is really big, staff friendly.
Centrally situated. Good service, good staff and nice rooms. Definitely come here again.
Where the customer is necessarily angry and service or hygiene is exotic.
Beautiful location. Good facilities and qualified staff. Good location to organize an event.
When it was still possible, booked a dinner / sleep / breakfast package. Really liked it. Delicious eaten and slept.
The pool is just not that big.
We have just returned from the Ampt hotel Nijkerk, great welcome, very nice rooms, great food and very friendly staff, especially in the dining room, we laughed a lot and we were very well helped. thanks for everything .
For work sitting in a conference room. Lunch included. The room was neat. The food that is good and the overall impression was positive. Certainly an option for both business and private activities.
agreement. .a very complex for business meetings. not cozy
The hotel pretends to be a 4 * hotel. Up to two would have suited better. Telephone booking turned out to be only possible if you speak fluent French or English. Not a problem for me, but still strange not being able to book a hotel in the Netherlands in Dutch. The booked superior (!) Room had a reasonable size, but no air conditioning. There is a minibar, but it turned out to be completely empty. For a cocktail to the hotel bar: "Sorry, sir, we can't do that now, given how busy it is." It was half past eight in the evening and apparently the staff were so understaffed that mixing a cocktail was too much to ask. Breakfast: here too one cannot cope with the crowds. Due to the very clumsy layout of the breakfast room, with a few very large round tables, we were referred to the bar as a couple. Handy, to walk there with your plate under your arm and then get your breakfast stuff ... A cup of coffee with breakfast? Waiting in line for about ten minutes! After breakfast you will be asked if you can "remove your plate." Since when do we tutor each other? In short: this was a once in a lifetime experience. We will never come back to this hotel.
The hotel is very far from the city. The breakfast is very adequate.Amsterdam should not choose a individual departures.
Nice hotel. Friendly staff, but unfortunately there were negatives such as when changing the beach towels, small towels were hung. After reporting to the reception we were given 2 beach towels. The shower gel and shampoo in the shower area was empty. The room door was not closed properly by the staff, so we could go inside and everyone else too.
The 3-course menu also left something to be desired.
Certainly not worth 4 stars. There are certainly areas for improvement that require action.
A pleasant hotel with decent rooms (we stayed in a 'superior room'). Everything we saw was clean. The breakfast is varied and satisfying and the dinner options delicious. Only a 15 minute drive to the Amersfoort city center which is highly recommended.
Nice hotel, some parts a bit outdated. Very friendly and helpful staff.
The place is nice! Free parking ,indoor pool and nice welcoming stuff . the down side are it feels a bit old and the room furniture's are giving bad vibe to the room
As far as I can judge this is a good hotel. It was clean, the people friendly and welcoming and we found the room fine. We went home satisfied.
Apparently the room we booked was right underneath an air conditioner that made a lot of noise. A heavy monotonous buzz made falling asleep rather difficult. Called the reception, they offered earplugs. Reported next morning after the question whether everything was OK, it was noted, but not really asked.
The room was fine, nice bathroom, fridge and TV.
Breakfast was extensive and good, great coffee, eggs, sandwiches.
Ventilation system which always went on and off from the room next to me because mine had been turned off and kept me awake all night ... On is fine. Or out! But not on / off / on / off all night. Also 2 dogs that barked half the night. Furthermore, breakfast buffet was fine. I would not go there for my rest.
Nice hotel, nice room. Friendly service. Certainly with breakfast and dinner. Delicious food. Recommended.
Nice neat hotel with modern furnished rooms and very friendly staff
Well... where to begin...I booked my reservation through their website for 4 nights. I never received an e-mail conformation of my reservation. After calling the 800 number three times and one $10 call direct from the US to the hotel front desk each time assuring me of my reservation for two rooms four nights was okay and we were ready to go. Only to find out upon arrival that our reservation was for three nights instead of four.
Next...... One of the rooms was nice and okay, the other room smelled like sewage and made my wife and I nauseous. Upon inspection by the lady at the front desk the best the could do was bring us some air freshener and told to sleep with the window open. After complaining three more times over the next couple of days finally I was finally able to talk with a manager who confirmed the smell and then moved us to a new room. All in all other than an apology the hotel seemed to care less about customer service, they didn t even offer to even Comp a breakfast or anything.
Maybe you will have better luck than us, but I would never stay there again, for as much money as we paid you think they would have tried to make it up to us in some way!
Checked in with a select group after the fantastic wedding of my daughter and son-in-law.These had the bridal suite, unfortunately that was a less successful one, because the hotel had done nothing but really did nothing about it in an appropriate way. to welcome. No champagne, really nothing, not even a bottle of water. Nowhere a congratulation as a welcome. If I had known this at night, I would have canceled city and country to make sure that my daughter and son-in-law in the privacy of their suite could have sounded together on their lives together. I have never experienced this in a hotel! A hotel where, to my knowledge, they only have 1 bridal suite, that the bridal couple are not welcomed in an appropriate manner. As far as I'm concerned, really not recommended for future couples!
Room too small for what everything is packed. Condition not maintained. Under the bed a pile of dust, main light bulb broken, shower can not be operated with smart hands. Staff reacts angrily at rule violations out of ignorance (especially for international guests who are used to certain things but do not know the rules here) and the local standards are not clearly communicated and are pulled through, there are no exceptions.
For overnight stays with breakfast the hotel is neat; because it has nothing else nearby.
Only the duvets are a bit too small for the double beds. Furthermore, great.
Very nice hotel just outside Nijkerk. We had inc. dinner and that was delicious every night. You can choose from several dishes, including starter, dinner and dessert. Breakfast is very good too. Sauna we had 50 min. Private. Don't know if that was because of the Corona but I suspect it was. It is nice that you have the sauna private.
Staff is friendly.
The only downside is the road where the hitel is located. This road is quite busy. And if, like us, you have a room at the front, those cars are not nice that come tearing by. But this is also the only point of criticism. Will definitely come back.
Just hotel, great bed, good breakfast, dinner was not quite as expected. Meat was very dry.
Good food, friendly service and very helpful staff if anything happens.
At this location a workshop was given by Robin Stevens (NLP) and the lunch was arranged to perfection. Many thanks to the restaurant, where a delicious gluten-free and lactose-free lunch was provided very last minute. It was well worth the wait! Staff were very friendly and loving and that really does a lot for the whole taste experience!
Sat here to have lunch and prepare our presentation. Is taken care of. Good service and the food is also not wrong. The public that comes here for lunch are entrepreneurs and businessmen.
Enjoyed a weekend package with breakfast and three-course dinner! Nice hotel with friendly employees at the reception and breakfast. In the bar it is less cozy without music and the staff less friendly. You notice that they are also busy in the restaurant / kitchen at the same time and keep walking back and forth.
The room was nicely spacious and clean. The bed was fine but the pillows need to be replaced. Room service was also very good for dinner (reservation at reception).
Swimming pool is fine but given the covid situation only accessible to a maximum of 7 people at the same time. So you never know if you can swim. It would be better if a time slot could be reserved.
Unfortunately we could not use the sauna because everything was already reserved before we checked in.
Breakfast was fine with lots of choice and good coffee. There are several coffee machines so you (almost) never have to wait.
Dinner was nothing special but fine. However, the portions are very large and especially with the three courses you have to leave a lot.
This hotel takes very good account of the Corona measures. For breakfast, lunch and dinner you must make a reservation so that there are never too many people eating at the same time. You must also wear gloves at the breakfast buffet, which are provided upon entry. A mouth mask is not (yet) mandatory, but is worn by all employees.
In the immediate vicinity is a beautiful nature reserve (Horsterwold) for a nice walk and the center of Nijkerk is easily accessible with a 15-minute walk.
All in all a nice weekend at this hotel, we will definitely be back!
Very friendly staff. Shame about the understaffing. As a result, late check-in and then no clean rooms, reservations that have not been made to the restaurant, breakfast service that is not working properly. But the good kitchen, sincere smile and jovial service make up for it.
Cheap single room but very basic so in terms of price. Fine
Old retro cabin. If you want to go back in time, it is recommended.
I have been a guest in many hotels, but this was far from the worst I have experienced, a lot of dust in the room, really dirty, where you looked there was dust that really has been accumulating for many months. much broken, ao tv, kettle, fan, div doors. and the mattress was bad and there were multiple urine stains in it. Despite that room would have been updated. Bathroom would have been "updated" but mold was present. And not really clean. Staff not guest free and not motivated. Against the rude. Well 1 plus, breakfast was delicious, but the room was nothing short of bad. Certainly never go here again.
Nice and easily accessible location. Many facilities. Restaurant, bar, sauna / swimming pool etc. Good service and customer friendly. Willing to think outside the rules and to cooperate, such as keeping the bar open a little longer, etc. Have had nice days!
Nice clean rooms , Lovely breakfast great service. A little hard beds though
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel.
The reception was nice, the staff very friendly and helpful.
Our room was very nice, modern and comfortable. It didn t have a fridge, however on calling reception they brought up a fridge.
The bathroom was a good size, it had a bath.
The amenities; restaurant, bar, pool were also very nice.
Would recommend this hotel. I stay at a lot of hotels around the world for work, and this rates up the top of my list.
Excellent amenities, very Clean and quiet room. Higher end bathroom and room.
Had a corporate event in the Ampt. Everything was well taken care of. Nice ambiance too.
Neat hotel. Good breakfast. The reception could have a slightly more flexible attitude.
Friendly staff, good food with an extensive breakfast the next morning. Beds sleep well and the large bath was lovely.
Delicious lunch at a pond with koi who are very skilled in begging very nice to see. Friendly service.Nice indoor garden.
Nice hotel rooms and good service. Delicious dinner and also delicious breakfast
Nice clean rooms! The swimming pool with sauna is really great! Connection to the city is great, it is also with bikes quickly to its destination! The breakfast was really good, I can only rave about it! In my opinion, the drinks at the hotel bar were overpriced, I found a bit sad, so a star deduction! At the other
Relaxed in the hotel and the surrounding area enjoyed breakfast, dinner, sauna, swimming pool and bike ride! Friendly staff
One of the best business hotels I ve stayed in recently. Staff lovely, friendly and helpful. Rooms small but in great condition and with comfortable beds. Wish there was a gym, but I m not going to rate them down for this.
I had a great stay!
Nice, warm location to meet. Operation may be trained with hospitality.
Great hotel for business purposes but also recommended as a tourist base.
The light in Nijkerk. There are lots of room and the service was good
The Suite is highly recommended.
A spacious room with jacuzzi and a large comfortable bed.
With a spacious and clean bathroom.
Bathrobes and extra towels are provided in the room.
In addition, there is also a terrace.
I personally thought the breakfast for 15 per person was a bit on the high side given the limited choice that there was.
The food was fine.
Very nice and clean hotel, super friendly Staff! Recommended
Great hotel. Business, not for weekend breaks or vacation.
First impression a great hotel. Nothing to fault. Nice reception. Good food. Top. !!!
I think this place is absolutely disgusting and will I never ever recommend this place to anyone not unless your desperate and have no family to loose because 2 members of staff will ruin everything for you Vanessa van der berg ( manager) & a disgusting thing Ratascha van den broek who thinks it s acceptable to allow her child to serve alcoholic drink to guest she would like to get into their pants yes sleeps with guest within the hotel whether there married got kids or not she don t care in the slightest absolutely appalling
Delightful hotel and very welcoming. Eaten in the room but well cared for and certainly tasty!
Nijkerk is a cozy place, we had a good hotel Golden Tulip Ampt van Nijkerk.
Fantastish Hotel. (Or not?)
In the 3 days that I and my partner stayed there, I had a great time, "premium suite" was a nice room, with a nice bathroom and a balcony that gave the possibility to smoke.
The bed was lovely, the shower was nice, and a small fridge was great to have.
However, there are more negatives than positives that I have experienced.
On the hottest day of the month of May, the bed linen was not changed, and we sweated a lot that night. There was dust in the most obvious places. Things had not been replaced that should have been replaced. (My partner works in a hotel.)
The restaurant in the hotel was terribly expensive. I lost 80 euros for food for me and my partner with a few drinks. I had ordered a beef tenderloin skewer, and that turned out to be finished so I agreed with a chicken skewer. However, the beef tenderloin skewer was put on the bill. My girlfriend had a vegetarian burger, and this one wasn't too good either (I work in a 4 star restaurant with a well-known name myself.) And I know that a vegetarian burger shouldn't fall apart when you stick it takes. There were also 4 cola hit while 2 were not brought. The gin and tonic were also wrong, paid 5 euros for the gin and 2.70 for the tonic. For 5 euros I would have liked the whole bottle.
At breakfast they did not take into account that it could get busy, so arrived on time but there were no longer some sandwiches, they had run out. Seems to me that if you see 4 more you refill them. Some sandwiches were also of worse quality than at the macdonalds a little further.
However, where I have to be very honest, the front desk staff wanted to make sure you had a pleasant stay. So we were greeted when we arrived and when we left. They were happy to think along when I asked for a painkiller for my partner, they gave me 4, also for the day after. It is always very nice if someone does their job well and does not come across as unmotivated. The tinted lady behind the desk did that extremely well.
And as for breakfast, you could wake up nicely if you had gone to bed late the night before, nice on an early morning with the doors open in the hall.
For me this is worth repeating, but then we have breakfast and dinner somewhere else.
A little out of hand ... But still comfortable and welcoming
