Very disappointed. After reading the Google reviews I decided to give it a shot. The sevice was sketchy, food was average at best and my wife's scallops were under cooked. Not to mention for the price the portions were small.

Probably a little overpriced for the quality, but you are paying extra for the experience and it's status that it holds. I haven't tried enough on the menu to hold a stronger opinion, but our single experience had room for minor inprovement. The steak was not cooked as requested but that was quickly, kindly and easily resolved. Still, a $40 steak should be done right the first time.

We are just back from dinner at this restaurant and we are very disappointed. This not the first time that Harry's has been inconsistent. At first the waiter didn't write our order and it concerned me. I was served a spinach salad instead of a greek salad. When they finally brought my appetizer my husband had finish his soup. I ordered a filet mignon with saute oignons and French fries. The oignons were not saute or may have been long ago and then were warmed up in a microwave. They had a boiled taste. The French fries were soggy and soft. The waiter accepted to change them but they were the same but plunged in hot oil. They were dark and had a oily taste. By the time the waiter brought another serving I had finished the filet mignon. The meat was good and cooked as ordered. The restaurant gave me the impression to be understaffed. It was difficult to attract the attention of our waiter. He was rarely around. I don't mind paying a high bill if I am served quality food. This was not an good experience in fine dining.

Harry's is a place of legend. The mixologists, chefs, quality of food ,and service all reach a standard that screams Michelin.
The eloquent atmosphere caters to the eyes and it seems like even the ambience of sound was taylored to make this steak House perfect in all ways.
Come in with just your self or 30 people and receive the same outstanding service and consistency that will leave you happy and rearing to return.
Harry's is a benchmark when most places don't even have a bench.

Great atmosphere and food although a little expensive for some of the a la carte items. Had Thanksgiving here and the servings were more than adequate. Recommend for small parties as well.

Harry's has really fallen in quality since our last visit. It was one of our go-to restaurants for occasions, but no more.

The "Prime Rib" wasn't. Tough, and probably Choice beef like a casual restaurant's. Considering this is their signature dish, a real disappointment. Nothing was up to their previous standards. Hopefully, they will get back to them after COVID.

We went there on a whim and glad to get a seat at the bar and had a great meal. When I ordered the cherry stone clams they didn't shuck the underneath part but they corrected it as you can't eat them otherwise. So fresh with a little squeeze of lemon. Bartender was fabulous too. Michael's calimar was different but excellent as well (took some home) and when our main course came we had to wrap it up along with a desert at home. Had our steak and filet salads for work the next day! So we would do that again for sure!!! Ok may have been better than Firebird's steak!! 4 thumbs up

I am disappointed to leave a three star review because the food and our waitress were quite good. This was our first time choosing an upscale steakhouse in the area after a recent move. We were also there to celebrate my birthday. The hostess was unfriendly upon our arrival which had my wife irritated from the start. We were quickly seated at a small table in the corner of the bar area with men who looked like they just finished golf. We were nice and dressed up for the occasion surrounded by a bar atmosphere and men wearing shorts and sandles. It seemed like an odd table choice for a couple with a reservation and nicely dressed. Bar height tables nearby kept those shorts and sandles at eye level and allowed people to look down on our table and food. We did not like that feeling or the atmosphere. We can t help but wonder if our experience would have been better in the main dinning room. Shame on us for not asking to move.

I have no idea how this place gets over 4 stars. We got the rockfish and halibut. Both tasted like they were cooked days ago and thrown in the microwave. Would expect more when ur paying $36 for just the fish. Sides are additional.

The food was good but me & my fiance's steak was over cooked. The mistake was fixed with an apology, and the waiter was nice. If I could give it 3.5 stars I would, it was a good menu and the food was tasty.

One of our favorite places to go in Delaware. Harry's is an institution in Delaware. Known for its warm ambience, delicious steaks (particularly their prime rib), and a great drink and wine menu. The service is always excellent. They also have great facilities for larger events. We highly recommend it.

Harry's is an old fashioned (in the best sense) bar, grill restaurant. Very good food and drinks with an attentive wait staff. It's like an already broken in, comfortable pair of boots. Not trying to be trendy or themelike.
