Go to Harry s Fine Foods if you want to dine in a beautiful space that feels casual. Order at the counter, help yourself to some drip coffee and enjoy some well prepared (and somewhat inventive versions of) classic breakfast / brunch items. The kimchi hash is executed super well, and the granola is piled high with delicious seasonal fruit and tasty Greek yogurt. I will definitely be going back soon!

Fantastic little restaurant bar that opened in Capitol Hill serving some fantastic dishes. The folks here are so friendly and eager to assist. After you place your order at the counter, they had you a little wooden sign with etchings of states on them. I ordered the Celeriac, Leek, and Mushroom lasagna special. My friend ordered the Banh Mi Sandwich. Took a star off because they had to take 20 minutes to heat the lasagna but when it came it was only lukewarm. The flavors were great though! Would come back to try other specials/food on the menu!

If your looking for a place to be talked down to by condescending hipsters, this is your place basic menu questions will be met with aggravated responses. To be specific, the bartender with the tattoo on his chin would not answer a basic drink question, the waiter was smug over regular discourse (in the orange hat) Food was good though, but I will never go back.

Good food but not great. Waited 30 minutes for a simple breakfast plate and a sandwich. The over-medium eggs that I ordered were made over-hard, the sandwich was barely warm and soggy. Paid $50 for two.

I wrote the review while eating my food at the restaurant. One of the servers saw my phone over my shoulder and smiled. Later as we were leaving he said Thanks for the review . Not sure if he was making a joke or being annoyed, but it was awkward.

We ordered the pasta with a chicken fennel sauce, fries, and a salad. Pasta tasted pretty good but had some quality control issues, the worst of which was a bunch of small chicken bones (in addition to gristle, a hair, and a lemon seed). Fries and lemon aioli dipping sauce were yummy. Salad had a very bitter dressing. Best part was the friendly staff and cute outdoor dining area!

We've dined there two times for dinner now....I highly recommend trying whatever they have for a special that day. The Trout I had last week was simply incredible! Before that visit, they had a Salmon special that was equally as tasty and accompanied by interesting veggies and pickled delights. This is a neighborhood cafe, not a chain restaurant. Expect a casual culinary experience and again, go with what the chef has named a special of the day. My husband chefs at a local bed and breakfast, he's recommended Harry's to several guests who raved about it the following morning.

Super cute spot with a cozy outside patio! Loved the set-up, enjoyable brunch menu, cool backstory to the place that's on their website. Food is good but overpriced. Could spend $30 and leave unsatisfied. I've been here a few times and twice had a server that seemed almost annoyed at any request, which made for a weird atmosphere. Not for me but still a neat spot.

I really wanted to love this place, the atmosphere is wonderful and thoughtful and it's right near my apartment so I envisioned becoming a regular. The first iffy thing happened when my husband asked what toppings come on their burger, the person helping us couldn't answer confidently and ended up failing to mention an ingredient my husband doesn't like so he ended up barely eating any of his burger. I ordered one of their specials, a pork chop. The pork chop was well cooked and it was a huge portion of food for the price. What I really didn't enjoy was how overwhelming the plate was. It came with kimchi potato salad which while my favorite part of the dish, was more like cold mashed potatoes. It also came with sauerkraut (so now I've got two fermented cabbage things on my plate), a cooked tomato and onion mixture, asparagus, plus a sweet tomato jam, plus a ridiculous amount of chopped chives. It was like they couldn't decide what toppings to put on the dish so they just added everything they could think of. My pork chop was literally buried all of the toppings. Each option tasted great by itself with the pork, but all of it and together was a confusing mess.

I would probably go back to try their brunch options or just for an order of the fries and dipping sauce, but my husband and I were both disappointed by our plates during this visit and if Harry's were any further away I likely wouldn't consider going back and taking another gamble at all.

JC One Liner Review: A hidden gem, instantly became my favorite brunch spot in town.

Try their eggs sandwich with bacon - $11.50 ish; the sandwich was just amazing. Definitely worth adding strips of bacon. Breakfast burrito with added bacon was also $9 ish.

Ambiance: Cool interior with both inside and outside seating
Service: Great staffs
Pricing: Reasonable, almost towards low end considering Seattle prices.

Highly recommend!

The food was really the star here, I mean the atmosphere was fun, if a little tacky, but the food was amazing. It's pricey but feels like a casually fancy night out and worth it to even just go for drinks and an appetizer. Only problem really was how long it took to snag someone to pay the bill even when there was a long wait to be seated, and I saw other groups struggling with this as well.

Easily one of my favorite restaurants in Seattle. Truly a hidden gem, tucked away in a small neighborhood in Capitol Hill. Definitely worth the trip out. Chef owned and operated, with flawless execution. Great hospitality with a diverse menu.

Really good atmosphere in this place. I love the back patio area. This would be a fun place to meet friends for drinks.

The servers are friendly and the food was very good. It is also very close to my apartment. Try the quesadilla!

Dislikes:
No espresso machine that being said the coffee was still pretty tasty.

I really loved the ambience and the friendly staff, however I didn't really enjoy that our food took a really long time to get served (even though we didn't go at peak hours) and I was disappointed with the taste considering the rave reviews. Maybe I'll try again during brunch.
