Impossible to get a hold of anyone. Phone rings and rings. When someone finally picked up, I was put on hold for 40 minutes before hanging up and trying again. After 15 tries I finally got someone. I explained that I'd been put on hold for 40 minutes and had tried calling back numerous times with no answer. She immediately got extremely smart with me and was rude for the duration of the call. After all of this, they still could not help me. They are worthless and so are their employees.
I ve tried calling multiple times this morning to return a breast pump machine and it doesn t even go to voicemail! It ll ring 7 or 8 times and then it just hangs up. I give it 3 starts because every appointment I have goes smoothly (so far) and the woman that sees us is nice. But work on answering the phone!
I'm very thankful to this office and the workers here! They helped me survive while I was living in Broadway Virginia! God bless them.
Being trying to call since 8 am when they are supposed to be open and no one will answer the phone and then when someone finally does answer they wont talk or act like they cant hear you.
Horrible service. I have called 3 times and left 3 messages with no return call. Glad they are using tax dollars effectively.
Getting someone to return your call, or even answer the phone at that takes over a month... if I could give them 0 I would. Customer service really needs to be worked on. We get these benefits because we need them and qualify for them. This is y all s job!!!!!

Impossible to get anyone to answer the phone. I tried four times yesterday. When I finally got in touch with someone to be transferred to my caseworker she was very short with me. I have an important question concerning our SNAP interim report and have yet to hear back from my caseworker. I'm sending it out as is although I have no proof of my pay because I just started this job. If our case gets declined it will be of no fault of mine because my question did not get answered. I don't understand why people choose this line of work if they aren't actually willing to help people.
If I could give this place zero stars I would. The workers here are extremely abrasive and rude, I felt like a piece of dirt when I had come in there to get help for my family and I. I work, but don't make enough to cover medical expenses and just needed snap to help out with food a little. My caseworker, Amber Thomas, is completely incompetent. She doesn't return phone calls. I called her because I had a question about a form I had to take in to a previous employer, instead of contacting me back? She cancelled our services. I reapplied and checked the box that said it was better to contact me through email because our phone had broken and we couldn't afford to get a new one right away. I even put my grandmother's phone number down and put a note saying that she could email me and I could go there to conduct the interview. Once again, instead of emailing me ( I checked everyday), she denied our snap application. Also, they gave my oldest daughter medicaid but not my youngest even though I had put her on the application as well. I am beyond livid. This woman , and half the people that work the front counter shouldn't even be doing what they're doing. Despicable.
I have called and called and called no answer and if I get a notice saying I m being penalized I will sue not my problem they can t do there job !
Family of 6 with 1 person supporting they family doesn't qualify for anything but a family of 2 making 400 a week in tips on top of 10 hour paycheck full time does. Her tips do get reported. I bring in less and work myself to death with no tips. Something seems strange. One worker will tell you to do this and they next one won't. Either some aren't doing their jobs or their crooked. I guess I should find a job with just tips so I can get help. Can't depend on unemployment in Virginia!
The wic lady was so rude. My appointment was at 1:30 and 20 minutes had passed and I didn t hear anything my mom and I walked to the front and asked if their was a lady we could speak to because no one else was around. He told us to walk and knock on the cubical and to walk in. We did. We were greeted by a RUDE woman. I didn t catch her name but I can assure you I will not be speaking with her again. You shouldn t yell at your patience, huff and puff or roll your eyes. It s your job to work with people and answer questions. Safe to say after that I did not stay for my appointment to talk to someone like that. I ve called to reschedule it with a different person twice and I have not heard back. Absolutely disgusted.
