DO NOT work here. They ll lie to you just to get what they want. I started in May 2020 with the COVID response team. They said I would eventually be able to work from home, but that was cap of course. I was able to transfer to the call center, and was supposed to train for 2 weeks then work from home but it never happened. The supervisors don t know how to MANAGE a team nor do they tell the TRUTH. The only true part of that job was getting paid 18/hr weekly.
This place horrible! Do not bring your love ones here. The kitchen on memory care side is infested with roaches. There's a lot of neglect that goes on here unreported. The list goes on everything looks good as you tour but behind the scenes it's terrible. I REPEAT DO NOT BRING YOUR FAMILY HERE!!!
Was COVID tested yesterday. Experiencing symptoms and would like to know if it is COVID or the flu so I can take appropriate medical action. Received an email that my results are ready this evening outside of business hours. I tried to login and the system does not recognized my credentials. I called the helpline number and the operator said that I would be able to call back on Monday at 8 during normal business hours. For a county so intent on keeping its community COVID numbers down and mandating masks and restricting gatherings they sure are lacking in the actual community assistance department. They preach that everyone should get tested and quarantine, but they can just hold off on giving you the results until it is convenient for them.
Hold time estimate was 20min. After an hour I was hung up on.
My husband had his first vaccine through HCPH on Jan. 22nd, the day he got his vaccine they gave him the card that told him his booster would be on 02/19, and that they would email and text with time & location. Tomorrow is 02/19 and we have not heard one single word from HCPH. Now... I do understand all of the weather we have had this past week, so I do understand if it has been rescheduled, but let us know it has been rescheduled, but again, we have heard NOTHING. ZERO communication from HCPH. I tried to call them today, sat on hold for 2 hrs and 3 min nobody every picked up and a recording came on after all that time, said they were closed for the evening and to call back tomorrow and disconnected me. Lina Hidalgo and Sylvester Turner are always telling people 'if you can, get vaccinated', but how the heck do you do what they ask when there is ZERO communication from their team and employees and they don't provide you with the information you need to get vaccinated. If you want your residents vaccinated COMMUNICATE and SUPPLY them with information they need. Our time is valuable too and this is a really ugly way to treat your residents trying to do their part and get vaccinated. If anyone from HCPH actually reads this, please re-think your process and please don't just disconnect people after hours of waiting on the phone, you wouldn't want to be treated that way.
They're supposed to open 8am and here it is 8:10 and no one is answering phones and can't get ahold of anyone. don't set a time to be open and not be open.
Racially Discriminate against providers and patients alike, as an organization.
Renewed permit on August 3rd, have not receive my permit as of today. Call the office, person on the phone command me to go to their office and pay replacement fee, although I never receive the original one. She was rudely talking over me and hang up when I was still talking.
If you are going to Stallworth Stadium for COVID vaccine, GO TO THE BATHROOM FIRST. You are trapped in your car. You cannot leave. I ve been waiting 1.5 hrs.
They said there are no bathrooms.
