Was very relaxing walking around the park with easy to follow paths and easily accessible restrooms. Was also very informative concerning building ruins and the quarry. Will be returning to do more walking and some fishing.

This is a beautiful park by Lake Michigan and it houses a second attractive Lake, Quarry Lake, within its borders. The beach on Lake Michigan is very rocky, but it didn't matter much in my sandals. We were able to ge up close to some of the animals who call this home, including a family of 3 deer. The foliage was just turning and the leaves were a very vibrant and welcome sight. The paths were plentiful and very clean and clear... Which is odd as clean and clear really describes Quarry Lake as well. If you are in the area it is a must see location.

I come to this park on my long run days time to time to get away from the city. She has lovely views of the lake and a fascinating back story if you have the time to read the signs through out the park. Definitely a great place to bring the family

It's my family's first time to the lake. This place Is absolutely gorgeous, the water is clean, no trash by the beach. The trails are very nice. However the water as calm and inviting as it is, feels like stepping into refrigerator water. We couldn't handle the water is was so cold. We enjoyed the beach regardless. The campsites were very maintained. But I do say I thought it be gross they shut the water off during night hours so we couldn't flush. Gross... not to mention we are early rises and would of liked a bath. The people were quiet but at night you can hear the highway, so if your a light sleeper might want to find and different camp. Overall we enjoyed our experience.

For some reason, this is the most strict park I ve ever been to. Camp all over Wisconsin and never had any problems but camp here a few times and park rangers weren t very people s people. The campground is always empty but the reservation shows full. This is true for a lot of Wisconsin s campgrounds. There s gotta be something done about this. I think the recent spike in camping activities reveals that a better reservation system and new rules are required.

Besides that the park is beautiful and the campgrounds are very well kept.

Very neat state park. The park was originally a quarry town back in the early 20th century and some of the building foundations are still there, but the best part of the whole park is the quarry lake. The water is very see through and you can see pretty deep into the water. Worth the drive.

Harrington Beach State park is beautiful. The pictures I posted are from the loop around the lake within the park. The walk along the lake is absolutely beautiful. It's a good walk for kids and you can take a stroller. The park itself was pretty busy but people stayed apart and most of the people appeared to be swimming down by the beach. I will definitely be back so I can continue exploring all that Harrington has to offer.
