Food was really good. Service was good but it did take a while to have our check picked up. Right on the water which is nice.

Dock your boat right by your table! Nice outdoor bar. Service is fast. Food is always great.
First time here and Gary made it an amazing experience. Other staff seemed out of sorts but he made up for there struggles. Food was delicious but will remember this experience more for the great service from Gary.
The food is very good here. The prime rib is the best I've ever had. Always get it and highly recommend it. You can eat inside or out. Very large seating area. Inside and outside bars also. Does get very busy around dinner time so best to go early.
Great wings and drinks. Service great! Thanks to Kim! Thanks for a good experience!
I hadn't been to Harpoon Hannah's for 25 years and was excited to return. We watched a band play at another venue and arrived at 9:45. They indicated they serve until 11 pm. The waitress Kristen acted like we were keeping her from leaving. The staff was cleaning up around us while we ordered which was very distracting. We ordered and our food was mediocre at best. One person in our party ordered crab penne pasta which was pasty and seemed like it sat around for quite a while before being served. Another of our party ordered the all you can eat crab legs which were cold and had a salty taste. When the waitress asked if he would like more he said no they were cold and didn't taste very good. The waitress just laughed it off. We felt throughout the entire dining experience that we were a burden an were keeping them from leaving. In addition, our order came out incorrect. The snap peas they had tasted like they had been sitting for several hours. Based our experience, I am in no hurry to return. It could be another 25 years and I would not miss anything.
Harpoon Hannah's is always hit or miss. They're new hickory burger rocks..... when the right cook is working.
Food was sub par. It was a nice atmosphere and our waiter was good, but over all the food was not very good.
Didn't really care for it. Not going to elaborate (privacy reasons). 3/5 stars.
We had a lovely lunch in the deck. Crab cake egg rolls knocked our socks off.
Had a great lunch on the deck. I would recommend that you get there early because the place does fill up rather quickly. Food was good and the service was great too. Will be back here for dinner tonight.
The service was excellent. The wait time was a bit long. We chose to wait and was glad we did.
Great food and excellent service. Family left full and relaxed.
Excellent service and food in a friendly family environment.
The food was good, but nothing exceptional. Our waitress was sufficient but could have been more attentive and welcoming. The restaurant does have ample seating inside and outside. Both seating options have great views. I would not recommend bringing small children,m. If you do bring your little ones, bring quarters because they have candy, bouncy ball, sticker, tattoos, etc machines by the restrooms!
Sometimes a five star(prime rib nights) some times a three star. Hence the four stars. Music every night during the summer. Dinner crowd till nine. Millennials after 10.
Football betting in the fall with lots of TV's.
Food was good. Waitress was great. Great experience.
This place took forever to get our food. We were here waiting for an hour or so. There was a lot of workers standing around doing nothing. No one cleaned up our plates. This place is very dissatisfying.
Drinks outrageously priced won't be back it's a shame I'm a local
Not what it used to be. Long wait times for all things. Will not go back.
Normally this place is good. Service on a Saturday was extremly slow. We were seated for over an hour before the food came out
The wait was acceptable and worthwhile. The seafood medley was delicious but the lobster bisque should have been warmer
We have come here for years during every trip to OCMD, and this is the first time I have had a terrible experience -- staff refuse to wear masks properly. The hostess and wait staff had them around their chins the entire time, even taking our order and serving food to other tables. We stayed for one drink and left because of this. Try keeping your patrons safe.
Had cocktails at happy hour. Inform employee that we plan on having dinner later. He just said ok. Afterward about an hour later we asked for a window table. Said not possible. Said we will go on a wait list. He never mentioned to us that we were required to sign up for a table. We left maybe 20 min. Later. There were tables available but not for us. No apologies. Went elsewhere and had the best flounder dinner ever. Been going to hannas for years. Not anymore.
Wonderful food. Comfortable environment, good service for sure. Worth the money?
Brian was a great bartender. Excellent crab pizza and atmosphere
We have eaten at HH for the past 8 years or so. Last Mother's Day we had a bad experience starting with our server who was rude and then our drinks and food were not very good. I swore I would never return. Last summer we went elsewhere for our final night at the beach dinner....we were not happy the food was awful and very over priced. Today we came down for a last minute day trip (we live approx 3 hours away) we returned to HH and had a wonderful meal with a lovely server! I am so glad we decided to put the past behind us and try HH again. Great experience and will definately return this summer! Thank you Wes and crew for a great ending to a great day!
Food and service are amazing every time. Been going there for at least 25 years. Best muffins around too!
Let me start by saying we love Harpoon Hanna's and visit everytime we are in the area, which is several times per summer. We were just here on Thursday and the service was quietly possibly the worst service we've ever had...anywhere. We were a party of four and sat at the outdoor tables by the bar. It was such a nice evening and the guy playing the keyboard and saxophone was awesome, so we planned an evening of appetizers and drinks. After 2.5 hours we asked for our check because we each had 2 rounds of drinks and waited the last time for over 30 minutes with empty cups. The original server dropped our first round of drinks and appetizers and never came back. A second server came and she explained there were 3 bartenders and they would all be taking care of, but they never did. It wasn't super busy and the bartenders were too busy taking trash out and doing what appeared to be sidework (around 830) than waiting on guests. It was overall so disappointing, as we are typically fans and very much enjoy our visits.
Harpoon hannas was a miss on all levels for us. Bad service, bad food and bad drinks. Overpriced and small portions..my soup was cold and my husbands wrap was hard. Not good.
Too cold on the deck to serve 5 clusters at once, they just get cold. Maryland crab soup.... needs love. Otherwise, cool spot, friendly staff.
Food good, views beautiful and there's always a happy crowd.
This is a rough one for me. Someone highly recommended this place, even told me that I have to order the bacon-wrapped scallops. I was taken aback by the price, but, I was on vacation, so I ordered it. I cut the first one and - yup, you guessed it - sand in the scallop. I kept my composure (aka - tried not to barf) and washed my mouth out with diet pepsi. I told the waiter about it and he apologized... Then proceeded to give me the check with the full price (I ate half of one of the five scallops). I couldn't believe he charged me. The manager came to my table and zeroed out the bill. I was *not* happy. But, there's a beautiful cat, Pistachio, who hangs out at the restaurant and she's fantastic.
My husband and I ate at harpoon hanna's this past Friday - we were really disappointed. The usually delicious muffins were hard and did not taste good. We always make a stop at harpoon hanna's when we visit ocean city but will not be going back.
Great place for seafood, also their bread selection is great, although it is usually quite busy.
Take some of the yummy home baked breads home with you. Love this place.
This restaurant has become a staple whenever we travel to the beach. There's beautiful views from almost every direction and in the summer you can sit outside which is the best. The food is pretty good, not a huge selection if you're not a seafood lover, but their chicken is pretty good. The best part though is the free muffins and bread they walk around dishing out. The coconut muffins are to die for, and you will probably fill up on them alone
Delmarva institution, my family has come here for decades. Coconut muffins are famous.
I am by no means a reviewer typically as it takes a whole heck of a lot to dissapoint or frustrate me enough to have a negative opinion of the facility. But unfortunetly I have to make an exception this time. We come down to ocean city yearly and this is always our final stop, as you typically can't beat the views and the food. This time that was far from our expereince, the wait was double what we were quoted, the food was lackluster at best (prime rib is normally fatty but good lord), and with no stop from any sort of management there was no way to discreetly share our thoughts (seiously, didn't see one step outside all night). The server was very kind and although seemed a little new, took really good care of us. Not sure how this will affect our plans in the future, but having had no way to leave feedback otherwise, I had to at least share my experience.
Terrible drinks... No booze in Them!! Never going back!!!!
Our waitress seemed very rushed and annoyed. She got us the wrong beer, forgot our lobster tail and gave another table our check. They sat us near a cold window. The wait staff was eating nearby. The food was mediocre. We were there over the summer and it was much better. Not what we expected.
Had one of my best meals in the area. Love the deck.
We were all unimpressed with our meals. My NY Strip was woefully unnder seasoned. Not "BAD"...It just wasn't great.
Ok. DontD know what fresh food is. Raw hamburger, 3 wrong drinks, no silverware, old shrimp. We will not be back. Tooany choices to suffer this again.
Good food and decent service. The clams were very sandy though.
My family has been going to Harpoon Hannah's for many years while on vacation and eating here has always been a staple of each visit. We've always enjoyed the "bread lady" who brings around an assortment of breads (rye, pumpernickel and iced cinnamon and raisin), as well as, muffins (coconut and blueberry). All are complimentary while you wait for your meal. The menu is varied (burgers, steak, chicken, etc) and should suit all tastes for those not seafood lovers. Most meals give the option of a salad and one side. I've always had the fresh fish catch with crab imperial..your in Maryland.. the blue crab capital of the world, so crab should of course be on the menu! All in all a great place to eat with a good atmosphere. One final word of advice, get there early during peak season as the place fills up quick and there will be a wait. Enjoy!
Good food. Nice atmosphere - sit outside on the water. Not inexpensive. Good service.
We sat outside along the waterway and saw a family of dolphins. Drinks, service, and food all good. If you like scallops, I had the fried platter and they were large sea scallops! No complaints or issues.
They are doing a good job with all of the challenges that Covid is causing.
Great service and food. Love the waterfront dining.
They had something for everyone, and it was good. Lobster tails for hubby, steak and shrimp for babygirl, and gluten free for me. Win win
Besides the bunch of teenage divas at the front that were fighting and didn't want to get us a table, the food was fantastic, and the steak was the most tender I had ever had.
Food was average. Great for groups. Easy access by boat. Expensive small watered-down drinks.
Busy in the summer, food is good and service was also good.
My husband and I went here because we heard they had good seafood. On their menu the brag about their prime rib. So I ordered the prime rib mederteranian. I boasted Lump crab meat scallops and shrimp. The scallops and shrimp were over done and rubber. My prime rib that i asked for medium was well done and super fatty. My husband got crab cakes and lobster tail the cake had a lot of filler and the tail was gritty. SO we paid $80 for this and it definitely was not worth it. WE will not be returning. The only good thing was my frpen drink
Great food and great service. Favorite place to eat in OCMD
Service at the bar was terrible. The bartender was gone for 10 minutes while I wanted another drink. The fries were cold with one little bowl of ketchup. The wrap was ok.
We go there for football pools. Some food is decent. Customer service sucks
Food and service is good. The band in the bar was too loud. They need to separate the two so it doesn't bother the people there trying to have a peaceful dinner.
Great Atmosphere! Awesome and friendly bartenders. Chondra is the best!!!!!
Absolutely worst experience ever. ... We came around 630 pm sat in the bar area the hostess said the tables were first come first serve. So we sat down and waited for 30 minutes before we had to ask for drinks. Then waited another 10 minutes for the drinks. We went back to the hostess to ask how long before we can get service. After waiting 1 1/2 we were told they are only serving apps. Ask to speak to the manager and he was rude. . We have been coming there for years but will never step back in again
Our family comes here every year to take advantage of their Lobster Blowout. Food is always very good, and service is excellent. the ribs are definitely not the best, especially considering you have JR's and Nicks nearby with top of the line ribs. However most of the time you are coming here for the seafood which is very good. Their bread selection and quality is also worth coming here for alone.
Great food... Great service... Thank you to our server... Hanna
The food here was pretty good and the service wasn t bad! I saw maybe 4 workers wearing their masks correctly and our servers mask was below his nose almost all two hours we were there, along with multiple other workers who were walking around the restaurant and serving.
Waiting about 45 minutes to be seated and ended up sitting outside. Was pretty hot on a Saturday evening and the outdoor partial enclosed deck does not have any good ventilation or fans to circulate any cool air so the heat is pretty enclosed in the deck area. No one came to wait on us and we left 15 minutes later. Very disappointing and will not be returning here.
Where do I start? Been going to Harpoon Hannah's for 10 years.
This year...game changer.
1. Salt/pepper shakers covered in dry ketchup.
2. Multiple pieces of silverware dirty
3. Staff hanging out at empty tables (bored) in the same area as eating customer's.
4. PRICE increase. $50 bucks for All you can eat crab legs.
5. Half empty restaurant at 6pm on a Tuesday. Never seen that before.
6. Busboys running around with iPod headphones in, bussing tables.
7. Hair in the Mac & Cheese
8. Rockfish was soaking wet from being frozen.
Not sure what's going on. Maybe new management?
Not sure if we will continue to make this a yearly ritual during vacation.
