Check in was great, the lady at the desk was super friendly. My stay was ok felt the room was a little dated for the price. My biggest issue came my last night. I was planning on a 4am check out, so i confirmed with the front desk and valet that I would be able to get my car out of the parking garage. When i went to do so the gate was updating so they were unable to let me out. Security informed me that it updates everyday between 4am and 5am. The front desk agent Jordan that came down was less than apologetic and instead of asking if I wanted to go back up to my room for the next hour decided to walk away with no resolution and literally left me sitting in my vehicle in the parking garage by myself for an hour. Will definitely be considering other hotels in the area for my next visit

Me and my husband went for a getaway and had the best time ever!!! This hotel will definitely get you in the party mood. Very nice and chic. Nobo resturaunt was amazing. All the staff at the hotel was amazing! The hotel is across the street from everything you will need. This will be a 2x a year adult trip for sure!

We went to the pool party and it was definitely a party. The DJ played good music and the dance floor was located by the DJ, they had a game area with Corn Hole & Jenga and the pool was in a separate area if you didn t want to be apart of it there was so much else to do. The drinks were strong & Luis the bartender hooked it up.

Relaxing, mouthwatering foods, and exceptional service. I think this would be the best hotel in this area and I'm thankful that I was able to find it just in time. My stay here was worth it. Everyone was so accommodating. A perfect place for any occasions.

The View was amazing this is staying in style if you're in San Diego. the s u i t e was great overall. A excellent view of all the partying and action over looking the pool area the Gaslamp and Convention Center are right outside your patio door. When you're paying this much you just expect things to be as they should besides a cleanliness issue it was amazing

Stayed 2 years ago on Christmas .was upgraded to a suite with a great tub. Loved the Jim Morrison photo in the entry way of room. The unit was designed very smart and efficient. Limited room service menu but good. Upon check in they offered me a bottle of wine or some beers on ice, I said I didn t drink and they immediately said no problem .in my room was an ice bucket full of Evian an Diet Coke. Service was great, room was spotless, pool was fun on rooftop and music was lively. Cannot wait to return with my son. PS- the turn down service is unbeatable you will love the treats!

The Hard Rock was an experience complete with a rooftop hot tub outside our room it was luxurious. We were assigned a personal concierge for our room, and greeted with a cocktail and choice of music on our arrival. Great time!

We have a lot of history with the San Diego Hard Rock Hotel. First there was a parking lot there. Then a developer bought that parking lot and erected this fine hotel. We were tapped as the San Diego video crew that documented this process from the beginning, with interviews of the developer, architect and interior designer, the obtaining of investors, the topping off ceremony which featured then-San Diego Mayor Jerry Sanders smashing a guitar on the rooftop. What a long, strange trip it's been. Now we are a crew that gets to videotape people like Entertainment Tonight's Keltie Knight as she talks to various celebrities high up in the glass studio during San Diego Comic Con. It feels like a home away from home, a rock star's paradise.

It was nice, but there was no room service for the 6 days we stayed there. (May 25-May 30 2021) I went for my birthday and they said they don't clean the rooms or bring food for room service. So our room wasn't cleaned the whole time we were there. In Cancun, Mexico, at the Hard Rock Hotel, they did everything! They weren't scared. I LOVE that about places outside of the United States! I would've gave 5 stars here, but no.
