This school is an absolute mess. This semester at Harcum had to be one of the worst for me. They are SO expensive and I haven't gain anything from being enrolled there besides constant headaches. I went to Harcum for their nursing program which is absolutely terrible. I m not in the nursing program, just completing some prereqs. I had intended to do my nursing career there until I heard they were on probation and it was overall a disaster. Just like the previous review had said, wherever you are in the process just leave. This semester I took Anatomy and Physiology 2 which is one of my crucial classes. This school hired a professor that had NO background education on the human body. The entire semester, you had to teach everything yourself. Seriously, everything had to be taught by yourself. When asking the professor for explanations she would say, it just does . Or when asking for tutoring sessions she pushed us on to someone else that could only do tutoring sessions by FaceTime which is not effective. I cannot explain how aggravating this semester was. The teacher did not do one thing for us. All she had done was read off of PowerPoints and half the time she mumbled through them because she could not pronounce the words properly. This is NOT a school you want to go to. This example shows how much they truly care for their students education. Not one bit since they hired anyone to teach a very detailed and difficult course. Not only that, but the program advisor, Ms. Taddeo, NEVER responds to your emails or any questions/concerns. Every other student I ve spoken to about her says the same exact thing. The classroom environment feels as if I never left high school. Majority of students there show that they don t care about their education which is very distracting for those who do care. I have many more examples on why this school is a total waste of time but I m sure this is enough. This school does NOT push you to your ability. Your money can be very well spent somewhere else! The only reason why I gave it two stars is because I did have very excellent professors but the bad I ve experienced here seems to outweigh the good. I heard their dental and vet programs are amazing but other than that, it s a waste of your time.

If i could give the Nursing Department of this school minus 5 i would..if you plan on going to this school for their Associate Degree in Nursing and you can read this, where ever process you have reached trying to get in,stop it there and consider going to another school...the nursing instrutors try as much as possible to fail student....just imagine; how can an instructor be teaching a certain class and a different instructor setting test questions for the same classs she has no idea what was taught or what went on..No powerpoint,no exam review,no nursing rationale how they come in conclusion of a certain question's answer..Do not go here i was warned not to.....All they care about is your money..remember you want a school where you going to learn not a business site.

I ve been an employee here in the marketing department for almost a year now and my experience here has been amazing. All of the Program Directors genuinely care about their students and want to see them succeed. There are so many scholarship and internship opportunities. Networking is easy and the employees are always so kind.

If I would have known the headache this college would have been I would've NEVER STEPPED FOOT IN IT! They have share sites that they honestly could careless about. We were not given the same treatment nor opportunities that the main campus students were given even though our tuition was just as HIGH if not HIGHER! They constantly had events and trips which most share site students couldn't attend because we WORKED during the day! Nobody ever knows anything nor answer phones. When calling the main campus YOU GET THE RUN AROUND 24/7!!!!!! They also pull slick stuff like telling pheaa that you're part time, even though 2 CLASSES A WEEK FOR THE ADULT PROGRAM IS CONSIDERED FULL-TIME. I had to come out of pocket $600 2 weeks before one of my classes was over in order to enroll for the next semester. I called pheaa to inquire about it and they explained it was an simple fix! All harcum had to do was call and tell them that I was actually enrolled in 2 classes which was considered FULL-TIME! Did they do it? OF COURSE NOT! The only reason I stuck with it was because of the staff at the E3 site! Mrs.Erinn, Olga and Selena were amazing, understanding and helpful my whole duration at this place. I would never recommend anybody to this college. Another thing I'm really trying to figure out exactly where the heck they find some of these instructors at ? I mean if I wanted to read the books and not learn anything I could've done it myself! I questioned why some of these classes were almost 5,000 a piece and learned absolutely NOTHING ! Some of the people they hired (Can't call them professors because I didn't learn a damn thing ) had ABSOLUTELY NO KNOWLEDGE ON WHAT THEY WERE TEACHING! I asked one teacher a question and her response was "IDK, they just gave me the material the night before this class was to start and asked me to teach it ". Like miss give me back my 5,000 for this class! How the heck you tell a student that? Like atleast try to figure it out .

Great atmosphere!! Quiet campus and hands on staff. Everyone was so eager to assist us and make sure we felt connected with the school, the programs and the professors that head that department

harcum dental school which has a clinic for anyone...

harcum dental school which has a clinic for anyone to get teeth examined and cleaned at a fee is painstakeingly tedious and you may have to visit 4 times to complete a checkup and cleanong it can and may take 4 months to accomplish. The students are very sweet but some of the dental teachers/supervisors are not available most of the time to sign off on a student;s progress so that they can go to the next step. I had to give up on these people because one cleaning took almost 5 months and the process starts again just about for 2 cleanings a year. If you have nothing better to do then go for it otherwise be prepared to travel back and forth there at least 3-4 times for one cleaning which in the long run will cost you more with gas prices time and much hassle.
