A contemporary restaurant and bar by Auckland's famed waterfront at the quay, which serves fresh seafood and local meats. Though short-handed, service was still good albeit having to wait for orders to be taken.
The freshly shucked oysters sourced locally were creamy and smooth, the starter of seared scallops and scampi was beautifully done and topped with fried chicken skin for the extra crunch. The grilled venison was beautiful - served with a blackberry gel, bitter chocolate chips, salted crushed macadamia and baby beets.
Was a thoroughly enjoyable experience...
