Excellent food and even better service - a group of friends and I went for a post-dinner drink and dessert, the espresso martini and Valrhona chocolate fondant were just amazing, and the friendly and knowledgeable staff really made our night.
The quality of food and service was great. They did well to serve a team of rowdy office workers.
Good atmosphere with sunset harbor view. Seafood plater was gorgeous and different from those full of fish and chips stuff, instead it had fresh sashimi which was amazing. Clams and mussels in cream sauce was also very good. Unfortunately no bay bug that day and we were offered with extra prawns. Service was good as well.
Dreadful tourist trap. Ordered the seafood platter and was very disappointed at the quality of the produce or the preparation...it was terribly over cooked, and under-seasoned. Service wasn't up to standard either. Not good enough at $175 for a platter.
This is not cheap but delivers with the top location overlooking ferry activity below. We booked and requested a balcony table - glad we did as they are a very busy establishment. Superb and relatively simply presented sea food and the service attentive and informative without being over the top. My mother and I both had grilled flounder which was beautiful cooked and was delicious. This is a special occasion restaurant- ask for an outside table in summer but the inside atmosphere is also OK. The restaurant was so 'special occasion' we returned again.
Nice environment, friendly staff, great service, and excellent food - especially the "Chocolate Fondant" dessert. I highly recommend this restaurant.
A contemporary restaurant and bar by Auckland's famed waterfront at the quay, which serves fresh seafood and local meats. Though short-handed, service was still good albeit having to wait for orders to be taken.
The freshly shucked oysters sourced locally were creamy and smooth, the starter of seared scallops and scampi was beautifully done and topped with fried chicken skin for the extra crunch. The grilled venison was beautiful - served with a blackberry gel, bitter chocolate chips, salted crushed macadamia and baby beets.
Was a thoroughly enjoyable experience...

This restaurant has a wonderful view and generally speaking great staff! We dine in that restaurant often, however recently we had visited the restaurant and we were greeted by someone behind the desk. We asked for a table he basically yelled at us and was very rude to us. He couldn't find our booking and basically was accusing us of lying. We were there to celebrate a special occasion. He is kind of bold and has bad teeth, a bit older. Don't know the name of the person. Extremely rude person. We should not have been greeted in this manner. We were not offered any other tables eventhough there were plenty of tables inside.
The food was just ok. Our waitress wasn't too friendly and wasn't very attentive. There was a person in our party who was unable to eat a lot (due to medical reasons) and the waitress seemed to take personal offense to that.
The decor/ambience was very nice.
Expensive average food (small portions). The place needs a shake up. Good location though.

Sharp food and service as expected from a high end restaurant. Went for our 10 year anniversary. Major downside is no parking. Have to park in a Wilson carpark way down the road and walk and then walk again to get the car after finishing. Not suitable with kids but great place for couples. Harbour views which is great.
Had lunch here and the food, service and ambiance are top notch!!!
Best place to have Seafood. And if you feel like just drinks, pick one from their vast selection of all kind of drinks & chill at the balcony with Harbour views. Must visit on nice sunny day.
