Have been enthusiastic members for years and still think that it was a good decision. Great resorts with very friendly and competent staff.
Does the neon sign on the roof really annoy you all night? I bet Hapimag won't win a single new customer because of that. Saving energy means first of all avoiding unnecessary consumption.
The Hapimag resorts are - as far as we have met them in the last 25 years - to recommend. Everything is functional and very clean.
Hapimag is recommended for several years but not more. With the purchase of a "stock" (which is not a stock, as it can not be traded like stocks), you pay out 60 points per year as a payout, which can be shaken off again. On site only the additional costs are paid; Furthermore, an annual fee is due once a year (2014: EUR 299.33). This does not seem like much, until 10 years ago (2003: 198.54 EUR). Meanwhile, both the annual fee and the additional costs have increased exorbitantly. Example: 3 weeks Tenerife in the 2-room apartment: 2006: 252,00 EUR; In 2014 we paid 618.00 EUR for the same service. For this we were charged 105 points. An annual fee costs 1 point now 5,00 EUR, so 525,00 EUR are added. 1140.00 EUR to additional costs and annual fee for an apartment ,. which has already been paid over the points, is considerably too expensive. For these enormous additional costs, I can also rent something on the open market; I do not need to tie up capital in a "share" in the long term.
The Hapimag system was recommended in the last millennium until the first years of the new millennium; Meanwhile, it is not recommended because of the cost explosions. The price / performance ratio is not right.

About 15 years ago, I joined Hapimag and, with the good experiences I gained, I was able to inspire other people for Hapimag. In recent years, however, the rules of the game for the shareholders were very often and in the short term changed to their disadvantage, so that today I can recommend Hapimag to anyone out of conviction. For the short-term profit maximization, the management and the VR are obviously ready to betray the good idea. Pity!
For the total cost of a holiday week you get (www thanks) in many places a at least equal accommodation with much shorter reservation time.
