Already at the entrance you are transported to a different time, a loving older butler with a boat cap welcomes us with a slight bow. The entire interior is from the good old days when lamps with folding umbrellas were still a trend. Through a wooden revolving door you can reach the most beautiful nostalgic toilets I have ever seen. There is no cafeteria, it is served directly on the square. However, prices have it all: Sparkling wine 0.2 ltr 9.50 euros

I was on the 125th Anniversary Show.
The artists / artists were great and from different areas. Very varied and perfectly framed by the moderation of Mr. Holm.
That was great!
Service at the place was very nice and friendly.
The prices for food and drinks are relatively high, but is still in the frame.

Nostalgic theater with great ambience, chandeliers, small table with lamp and counter with waiter call. Everything as it used to be. Please visit the toilets! The revolving door is worth seeing. The program is always fantastic with sorcerers, jugglers, artists of all kinds, ventriloquists etc. Also the moderator is funny. It is laughed, sung and amazed. A must!

From the outside it seemed that the theater had come down, but as far as you enter it the show starts. You feel like you are in a completely different beautiful place.

This is the best way, if you want to spend an evening in a theatre and can't decide, because you get so many different acts and the host as well will give you through out the evening a performance.
My dad and I went for the 125year celebration event and I haven't laughed like this in years.
You can order food and drinks during the performance as you got a button to call your waiter. Prices are reasonable and service was very friendly and attentive.

A beautiful old theater! You get food and drinks served at the place. The waiter comes when you press the call button. A great service. I was a guest here in the early 90s and am happy that it has been in operation for a few years now.

I have been in the Hanse-Theater many times and it is always a fantastic and wonderful experience. Everything is beautifully organized to the detail. Staff, musicians, performers and Host. I would give a 100 stars if I could. They bring back the beauty of performance in a stylish and sensational way. The atmosphere within the audience and the artists is phenomenal. If you ever come to Hamburg it is show you cannot miss. By the way they only accept good old cash and all the show is in German. Don't worry whether you know German or not, there will be no disappointments!

Wonderful! We come every year now!

Wonderful! We come every year now!
The food could be better! Please change something next year! Since the food tastes better in every sausage stall.
Nevertheless, I give no point deduction, because the operation was incredibly nice and accommodating.

An experience for young and old. A plush auditorium with tables and lamps. The staff made it very friendly and helpful. The place setting with tea was delicious. The selection of fruit tea or rooibos tea would also be nice. But we were there for the demonstrations. A varied entertainment program, from acrobat to magician, ventriloquist to tightrope walker (slagline), juggler to roller skate dancer. All unique in your own way. Would love to come back.

A friendly welcome with a personal touch at the entrance and that runs through the entire establishment. We were even recommended a cloakroom where we are faster when we go out. ;)
The search for a seat did not take place because we were immediately taken to our seats. An attentive waiter was already at the table before we called "waiter".
The moderator, the father of three, whose name I unfortunately no longer have, was very amusing and bridged the stage conversion times in a very charming way. -I think he should get his own show.-
The "Hansa-Boys" still deserve the title "boys" because they professionally accompany the acrobats and artists quickly and freshly. In addition to a ventriloquist who especially made the small audience laugh heartily, there was also a couple on roller skates and the smallest stage. I had to hold my breath on this number because I thought it couldn't go well, but I did!
I also really liked the two gentlemen, who showed that you can also juggle a man on your feet who also does flicflac. The individual artists, on the two poles and on the "untightened" rope, were also very graceful, as was the gentleman all in white, for whose performance I also lack the words because they were so extraordinarily beautiful. A journey into the past, pure nostalgia. Recommended for young and old or best together!

Not recommended for everyone under 50. My girlfriend had given it to me for my birthday, at the hefty price we thought of the food and drinks with him. None, coffee and cake for 11.50. The host was a disaster, I think some of his jokes were weird in the 1960s and haven't been improved since. The female artist was actually good, the rest looked like from an amateur theater. In particular the comedian with the "rabbit" was absolutely bad in terms of level.

The area doesn't seem safe at all. I was happy to be there with a bus.

Conclusion: The theater has long since passed its heyday. Price and performance are not correct and the program should urgently be adjusted to the times. It was the first and last time for me. My girlfriend and I were extremely disappointed.

Hansa Theater is a traditional house. Many famous artists have already performed here. However, I find the prices for food and drinks extremely overpriced. The artists were good. Some on medium level. The presentation was moderated by a Mr. Deutschmann, a cabaret artist, whose jokes led to laughter only conditionally. All in all, it was very entertaining, but is probably something for the slightly older audience.

Very nice that the St.Pauli theater operator Waller and Collien take care of this jewelry box so intensely and again and again put an excellent program on their feet. The charm of the 50's is touching, the staff attentive, the prices for the evaluation a bit too high. But still, absolutely 5 stars for the house, program and operator. Thank you for the entertaining evening.

Excellent! You will be beamed to another time within seconds. Friendly service. And the variete was really good. I'm not a friend to watch this on TV but live is something completely different. We were thrilled and come back to the cabaret.

I had so much fun Thank you for the ease, the laughter, seeing through the eyes of a child and of course for the many great people who made it possible. A wonderful last season performance ... until September

It is entertaining but the average age unfortunately already beyond dementia. The Hanseatic Theater was supposed to be more concerned with younger younger audiences. Already a bit diagonally there, historic premises and once a year quite see and experience.

Great house - we come every season.

Great house - we come every season.
The variety program is very varied. The performance of the artists is admirable.
The fact that the seats are too tight is up to us and only a little bit because of the seats. Since you usually sit together with a partner, cuddling together is completely ok.
The house is wheelchair accessible - with a little good will (there is also an extra toilet). If you need help, there is support from the friendly staff. We find the food a bit expensive and difficult to eat in the tightness, but the drink prices are ok.
In addition to the program, the highlight is the toilets. You have to see it.
We also like the "preliminary program", a cinematic compilation of over 100 years of theater history.
A special theater evening for the whole family! We are looking forward to the next season.

Beautiful theater with tradition, from which our parents still indulge in childhood memories. Pleasantly small, plush and nice program. Of course, it could also be geared more towards younger audiences in order to create beautiful memories for future generations - but that is precisely what makes this theater so charming. Be sure to go to the toilets! :)
