Love the decor. Smallish place. Very busy. Small and very nice outdoor patio on the side. Only one bathroom for all for the restaurant. The menu is varied and has a lot to offer. We went for brunch and really enjoyed it. Very good food. Prices are reasonable. I did think that the mimosas were a bit pricey and we're just okay, A bit to pulpy on the juice for me. The seared salmon and cilantro pesto rice noodles was delicious.

One of the best brunches I've had. loved their eggs benedicts (had the Spanish style ones) and we also had the chicken tajin. plus we had the carrot cake pancakes with cream cheese butter and it was DELICIOUS. it's not overly sweet and tastes just like what you'd imagine a carrot cake pancake should taste like! yum!

My son and I wanted to try something new and local for lunch. We're glad we chose Hanna's Gourmet. The dishes we had were delicious. My son is usually picky with his food and he liked his turkey sandwich. I had the reuben Benedict and that was delicious as well

This is a small Quaint place. Clean, open, and comfortable. Service was fast, friendly and never needed to wait for refills or trying to flag anyone down. The table next to us food came and immediately got excited for our own meals. It looked so appetizing and hot. Our food was equally attractive and tasted delicious. I am usually reaching for the salt and pepper but didnt need to here. Very filling and satisfying. I ordered the eggs a la France and my boyfriend ordered the 2 egg breakfast. We will be coming back again!

What a breath of fresh air! With all these pop up restaurants everywhere trying to be trendy with bacon and Mexican inspirations the Hanna's Gourmet stands out from them all! The chef and owner has created a outstanding menu with fresh ingredients and everything is homemade from scratch. This is a world cafe so the menu is always changing with authentic gourmet dishes that will leave you fully satisfied. Very friendly staff, cute airy atmosphere with a quaint courtyard. Don't miss this restaurant!

Hanna's is an Adam's Ave. treasure for us all. Fresh and high quality ingredients, variety via her weekly World Tour menu, lovely salads, healthy dishes, sensible portions, creative desserts, and high value for the prices. Indeed, the best value for quality and price on Adam's Ave.!
I have also had Hanna cater for two big family events and she and her staff created a warm and generous atmosphere along with highly customized menus and amazing dishes. I will come back to her again and again.

You simply MUST eat here! Everything I ever ever ordered has been scrumptious. To top it off, the prices are beyond reasonable!! I do not know how they do it because the quality of the food and the care and love that goes into it are obvious! For instance, the last time we went there, we had a table of 5 and a budget of $100. We had food, drinks, and shared a dessert and tipped well, and came in under budget! Go eat there now before they figure out they should charge more!

Hanna's is one of these places that can't really be overrated; I can rate all meals I've had there individually and they'll all get a 4 or a 5.
The food has a home-made feel but is prepared with great professionalism with notable "layers of taste" that take a pro to achieve.
One of my favorite features of this restaurant is that they have internationally themed food, so one can taste different cuisines at every visit and never get bored with the constantly evolving menu. They still tend to have some main-staples and the desserts are unique and enjoyable with the Almond Cake being my top choice.
I also like the fact that the chef uses spices outside of the standard ones and in unusual ways, yet without them overpowering the dishes they're used in. Soups and stews are often available and are as good as can be and never over-seasoned, which seems to be a trend in most restaurants.
Good choice of wines with pleasantly surprising picks (South African, etc.).
A solid entry in my permanent go-to list.

Delicious food which is not run of the mill. Love their choosing a different country to showcase food from constantly. The special of the lamb stuffed eggplant was especially wonderful as were the "feast" and quesadilla appetizers. The only disappointment for anyone in our group was our vegetarian who ordered the "vegetarian" version of a dish and instead of a soy or other substitute for the meat in the curry dish, he got just the rice curry without any meat. It's a cozy place with an intimate atmosphere and an alley of outside seating as well. The waiter was most attentive and friendly. Prices are reasonable as well. Definitely want to go back.

I came in from the bay area to see a friend and explore the sites. He took us here for dinner and it was perfect. The taste was succinct bit subtle and just enough to satiate us without feeling stuffed. Can't recommend it enough.

Stumbled upon Hanna's yesterday and went in for lunch. The service was great and friendly, and the food was delicious. We shared a reuben and some sweet potato fries and both were excellent. The mimosas were tasty and made with fresh-squeezed OJ. A very nice dining experience.

What a fabulous find. I was having dinner with my cousin and she said this was her favorite restaurant. But wait she had only bee here once and fell in love with the menu and the staff and of course the food. Parking in this district is hard, so to walk a couple blocks, unless you are a parking karma guru, is the norm. The waiter, and drink person was so polite and convivial. It was like talking to an old friend. When the menu arrived, I immediately spotted my dinner dishes dishes. Coconut shrimp, followed by Lamb Kebab with cherry rice. YAHOO! A place with cherry rice gets my attention! and with coconut shrimp, a forever favorite of mine, it was wonderful Big Fat Collosal Shrimp with a lovely marmalade / jam and mmm mmmm mmmm. Then the lamb and cherry rice. I just want to come back and do it again! Oh no, I live over 400 miles away! Oh Yes, I will be back.

Food was good. Food got cold quickly and didn't seem hot enough. I enjoyed the first few bites but then got cold so quickly I was eating a cold meal. Even the pancakes were too cold to enjoy. I would go back but in the summer and sit outside.

It's difficult to find a complaint about this place. We went for breakfast and were able to sit at a table immediately. Indoor and outdoor seating were both very nice. The staff was all very friendly and our server made some great recommendations. I ended up getting the daily special(chipotle adobo chilaquiles) and it was excellent. Unfortunately we didnt save room for dessert. They all looked delicious and homemade.

This was the best breakfast I ve ever had in San Diego! My wife and I both had the Omellette a la Vegeterian which was stuffed with goat cheese, carmelized onions, arugula, tomatoes and herbs. The eggs were cooked to perfection and the flavors were absolutely delicious. Our plates came with a generous portion of rosemary potatoes sliced in rounds and pan fried and then topped woth carmelized onions, plus some thick cut pieces of hearty toast. The service was exceptional, had a great ambience and when we left we knew right away that we d be back again soon.

Hanna's Gourmet has awesome food. It's a little bit of a smaller house and Hannah is almost always they're cooking. I've gone there for breakfast and for dinner and also went up their monthly family style dinners. The restaurant has a menu from the world so it is always changing. The monthly family style dinners are a set price and can be anywhere from 3 to Spanish to New Orleans style. The food is always good. If you go for breakfast check out the pancakes. They have red velvet pancakes, carrot cake pancakes and a few others that will really have your taste buds dancing with

It was a fun, contemporary atmosphere. The food was amazing. It was one of my favorite Caesar salads to date. Plentiful, beautifully plated with a delicious Parmesan "basket"! My companions opted for breakfast options and they were very generous portions and looked yummy too. There was also a choice of delicious mimosas.
The wait staff were friendly, fun and efficient. My favorite combination!

I ALWAYS get the Turkey pear Brie sandwich with the rosemary cookies! Both weird combinations, Turkey and pear, cookies and rosemary but it just goes! Don't question it. Yes it's a bit pricey but you get what you pay for

One of the best breakfast places I've been to. And, hands down the best red velvet pancakes I've ever had in my life. Pancakes are big, soft, fluffy. Really friendly people. I had to do 2 or 3 rounds in a 3 block radius to find a parking spot, but the breakfast was totally worth the trouble. Totally recommended!

Great for breakfast! Recommend the eggs a la Morocco. Fresh squeezed orange juice is good too. Weekend breakfast waits are short if there even is one, and process are reasonable. I haven't come in for one of their international dinner events yet, might update after that.

I stopped in on a whim, and followed my nose to a very delicious and filling lunch. The atmosphere was cool and quiet inside, so I opted for a table instead of outdoor patio seating. I had the salmon and cilantro noodles: amazing!!! The fish was cooked to perfection and the portion was not skimpy. There are some other interesting dining options, and I would be interested to come back and try them.

We've lived in the neighborhood for years and never made it over here until today - so much regret!! The turkey, pear, and brie sandwich on focaccia was unbelievable. The reuben was also very tasty. Highly recommended.
