I've been involved with Hammer nearly 50 years..... they are a wonderful NGO serving humans with disabilities

One of the worst experiences living in an apartment I've ever had. It's like living in a group home inside an apartment building. Not very person-centered at all. If you needed to take pills, you had to go up to their staff office to do it. You also had to have dinner up there, too. One of my first apartments, but also one of the worst experiences I've ever had in an apartment. Glad I moved out, that's for sure!!

The place was very detailed and friendly to check out and straight to the point on how long it can take to get placed, was said like being on Surviver was the their comment. Thanks

Every person I have met that works for Hammer has genuinely cared about the people they support. You won't find a better company to work with!

Do not work for this company. The managers and the upper management don't appreciate your work. Supervisor will lie on you because they dont like you and upper management will lit you go without investigation. They use the poor African to work to the hard houses that they dont want to work. Low pay. Save your life some time. Am serious. . If you are just looking for something quick. Work there and look for a good paying job.

Great agency. The mission of Hammer could not be more renowned. I would recommend to anyone referring someone whether personally or professionally.

Very special people work here and for this agency. My son has been a part of their program for years. I have seen him grow so much in the ways they are helping him. They have a beautiful Thanksgiving dinner that they put on every Thanksgiving day for their clients and family. Did not make it this year. Last year's feast was do good and filling. It was a lot of fun visiting with the other people.
