positive experience dealing with the council so far. 5 stars all around. I went into the council searching for info on a property. staff (Carla) was super friendly and helpful, also emailed me all the info I needed ( for free). People at rates team were easy to deal with too, helpful over the phone. very prompt in answering their emails. Got the job done in no time. Good job guys!

Called 6 times about excessive noise at a neighbours house (My walls were shaking from the bass). They played music from 11pm until 9am the next day. HCC's contracted security group didn't shut it down. They have regulations they outline on their website, but don't follow them?? What's the point of them then?

ANZAC Day 2019, returned servicemen's lawn , Newstead Cemetery - Not a poppy to be seen, Hamilton City Council you owe the people buried in the returned service lawn and there families an apology for the disrespect shown to them

So behind the times for a city council when it comes to building consents. Nothing online, everything has to be paper copies x2. Complete waste of time and resources and pretty rubbish for their carbon footprint. Get it together HCC!

Typical council-dont care about the people, only their purse

So over a month ago i made a complaint and made it very clear i would like a response and not to be ignored . Well im still waiting wahts the lowest reveiew i can give

Really a quite, small but neat and tidy town surrounded with some great scenery and amazing people.
