Great local football and rugby league stadium, great atmosphere

One of the better grounds in the Vanarama league, has excellent facilities, catering is good & reasonable price, car parking is on site with ok access & exit, stewards are approachable & helpful.

Love Halifax !! Then you will love The Shay , great stadium and facilities

A great place to host public events, great food and refreshments. Light and airy and very clean. Friendly and helpful staff.

First time I'd been. Very nice stadium, decent pitch and above standard facilities.

The best non league football stadium. Covered on all sides. Excellent facilities in the East stand.

Been for the Hali con event and the rooms are really good! Lots of parking available which is obviously a bonus!!!

Its a lot nicer here than a lot of other Rugby league grounds, in Yorkshire. I'll let you decide which I mean. As I don't want to get in trouble. But 1 or 2 Super league grounds are disgusting in Yorkshire

Great little stadium especially when you consider where HX town are in the football league..

Attended a charity event, lovely atmosphere, food was OK drinks a little expensive.

Grubby place - food is over priced as usual and the the toilets are not looked after properly, dirty no soap and not regularly checked. Door staff clearly let their "mates" in without tickets and this causes seating issues inside.

Unfortunately I hate the loutish crowds most football grounds drag in these days, sitting around drinking vodka pretending it is water, beer from cans - all while stewards look on.

Cannot say anything about the hospitality facilities, but if the normal match day conditions and special events are anything to go off - stay at home!!

Hold our Squadron reunion there very good meals and brilliant staff.

Not the cleanest of facilities. Staff often rude and dismissive. Walking in front of you and taking the lift first is an example. Pitch was scruffy with bins and rubbish lying all over the place.

Decent ground. Should hold more junior rugby finals here

Great stadium with good views from the stands and real terraces at the kop and away ends. Friendly supporter's bar makes everyone welcome .

Heart attack time at the Shay today, as Fax edged the Eagles in the last minute 18-17

As a Salford supporter it's always very pleasant to watch a rugby league match at an old traditional venue. The shay holds great memories for me not only watching rugby league in recent years but remembering the Halifax town verses Stockport County football matches in the old 4th division

Possibly the greatest stadium and team in the world!

The Shay stadium is your generic stadium and is ok at holding matches. I don't go there but I have had a few experiences there.

Easily gets a 5star review this THE HOME OF THE MIGHTY SHAYMEN what else is there to say other than BEST CLUB IN YORKSHIRE. Good stadium to go to as well from any neutral fan perspective if you like a good match to watch at a decent entry fee then look no further.

This is the home of Halifax RLFC and FC Halifax Town. Clean and spacious, although the council run bar is over-priced as with most venues these days.

Went here to watch HRLFC play rugby. Good atmosphere, clear tannoy system.

Nice big footie pitch. Wish Thrum Hall RL ground was still there. Rugby Fortress.

Stadium is nice enough, new main stand with some old style terraces. Staff were absolutely awful.

Watched a game of footy here. Fantastic ground with good parking and facilities. Very impressed.

Lovely place was with the sponsor's in the box. Loads of good memories apart from the score.

Home of the mighty halifax RLFC. Cant say much about the football stuff. But Rugby side is amazing. Great bar. Food is great also.
