Great little modern stadium good facilities passionate supporters well worth a visit

Thanks to the staff at reception and throughout this stadium is a good place to take the kids on match day... I've also been for events and meetings and they really do a great job of organising and hosting.

I am going to the Shay tomorrow night to watch Halifax vs Barnet

Poor experience bar was expensive and terrible beer. Try cleaning the pumps occasionally.

First time to the shay and liked the stadium found the staff to be very helpful. Also very close to the station and town centre. Will definitely be returning.

Superb football tournament for boys. Four groups for 5 teams, 7 minutes matches simultaneously on four pitches. Amazing atmosphere because parents are the best's fans. I love it

Good facilities in the new main stand. Would have been 5 stars had my team won!

Great place, great staff & good facilities inc parking.

Big and spacey party or occasion venue. Always busy on match days of course and we can live in hope one day it will be finished with four functioning stands

You don't have to go anywhere else our spiritual home.

Better than Gillingham decent seat although over priced. The PA announcer created a great build up to the game with some really good music and unlike Gillingham it worked when he turned up the volume. Game average referee superb.

Pay and display not too expensive. Although 6 months ago did not have to pay anything. Clean toilets.

Nice stadium, but the Stewarding is pedantic, and the Council employ DS Security thugs who assault paying customers

The Shay stadium only have a big match in the weekend depends on the season and popular for home teams.

Old skool away end, toilets need some attention but you get what you pay for. Friendly home fans up for bants and a laugh. Good honest football club.

Sort the 5 a side pitch out please there s so many holes in the netting! It would take 15 mins to go around with a ladder and some tie wraps to fix it!

Not a bad little ground, staff were helpful. Reasonably priced food and drink with a fair selection of choices.

Me and my 10 year old son had a good time even tho the shaymen lost. The down side was a miserable couple who were sat in front of us. My son kicked the empty seat in front which was next to the women BY ACCIDENT. and she was very cross and shouted at him. And the bloke said keep control of your kid. Which infuriated me. Which I said a few words. GET A LIFE!!! say no more

Wasn't sure what to expect, had heard various opinions.
The starter was brilliant, loads and real tasty. The main was well cooked and plenty of veg to go round, and the cheese cake was to die for!!!! Absolutely delicious. Great night out. (not bad company either to say it was the work night out!!!! )

Nice ground, good service at refreshments bar and friendly service. Friendly supporters. Good place to watch rugby league.

The staff were rude and disrespectful towards away supporters and drinking on the job. I wouldn't recommend going here to anyone unless things were dramatically improved.

Old fashioned stadium with disgraceful pitch due to rugby League being played on it as well as football

A great place for a youth football tournament. Covered for shade and rain, and all refreshments supplied too, for a cost of course.

Easy to find. Easy parking. Good food and comfortable rooms

Went with the away fans after discussing with the steward, good stadium for the level they are at.

The banqueting suite was clean and tidy, food was nice and the drinks as you would expect, all staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful.

Great stadium. Never visited here before. Brilliant sunshine for our away day. The team turned up and played some decent entertaining football.
