My family has been to the Hale Theater at least 5 times now! The atmosphere is so nice. The acting and singing superb! We have brought our 2 granddaughters to a few of the productions and they have just loved them! I would highly recommend the Hale Theater to anyone who wanted a nice evening out with the best entertainment!
New to the area, we bought tickets to John Loves Mary last fall. We were so impressed that we bought a Flex Pass adding four more productions. We've seen three of those four and have never been disappointed!
They always put on a great show. BrightStar turned out to be a great story. Love the acting and the use of the ensemble.
We love the Hale. Shows are generally always good and there is not a bad seat in the place. Plenty of parking and easy egress.
A great community theater that serves up theater in the round. If you're not a fan of this type of setting, you will be disappointed here. I actually enjoy it. But beware, some scenes will but the actors very close to the front row.
Always great shows by an enthusiastic group of actors, singers and dancers. Theater in the round makes all seating excellent. Very senior friendly. Make sure you patronize the local restaurants to complete a very enjoyable day.

I went to Hale theater to see No No Nanette and loved it! All of the actors were outstanding. Also the theater is so beautifully decorated. I will definitely come back.
Been here once with an invite from my co-worker who has a family member that works there. What a nice venue and the show we watch was call "Sounds of Music". Its a 360 view stage and you can get up, close and personal to the actors. Will definitely be back.

The play here's are awesome. I've come for many years and always bring my family to the Christmas carol. But all their performances are excellent never once have I had a bad play

I absolutely love this theater. Its beautiful inside and takes you back in time. The actors and actresses are great and come out afterwards and spend time and talk with you. Great night out for a date or the family.

This is such a great theater. Seating is in the round. It is a small but has wonderful acoustics. Always amazed at how well the costumes are done. It's lively, fun and very professional. A favorite!

Hale has become a staple of our date nights. Each year we save a little by buying season tickets. We've never had a single issue with will call, never a technical issue during the show, never a cancelation. The productions are always fully professional and the actors have always performed admirably or even outstandingly. We truly look forward to our Hale Theatre nights. I cannot recommend them strongly enough.

This theater is a gem! Its in the round, so there really isn't a bad seat in the house. It is undergoing some construction now, but it has not negatively effected my experiences at all.
Awesome place currently under construction to expand but still open, and like Amanda Valenzuela said with a sprained ankle the show must go on. Watch your classics here and modern plays. My family has never been disappointed been going here for the past 10 years. Last night was chitty chitty bang bang (great show).
Just watched a Christmas Carol with my family and it was absolutely delightful. The actors/actresses were so delightful and wonderful. Would highly recommend this venue.
Absolutely amazing! I kept getting sucked into the play that it actually felt like it was real! (This coming from a millennial where nothing amazes us) and the actors were amazing, you could tell they love what they do with the energy they put into their acting. Absolutely amazing.

Very entertaining! The playhouse is currently under construction, but still operating. The staff is doing a good jobof navigating around the "dust". All were very friendly and helpful. Pics of the updated final look are on display and look very nice. I'll definitely go back.

What a great small professional the theater!. The theater in the round makes every seat in the theater a great seat. You can see all of the nuances of the actors faces and the beauty of the costumes up close and personal. The quality of the acting and the singing were superb. And the pricing was amazingcompared to all of the other places that we have looked around here. Would definitely recommend.

These folks always do a wonderful job with their productions.
It's a really nice theatre. Newsies was really good and a lot of the actors were great, especially Les. I didn't love the choreography. It lacked a feeling of spontaneity. Most of the dance sequences seemed to be comprised of the same few ballet moves. The production of Newsies that I saw at ALA's Queen Creek High school was one of the best I have seen, rivaling the Broadway production.
The only reason why I gave it four stars is because of the lack of leg room. Otherwise, the experience is completely enjoyable. I can't believe what this theater can do. Our latest play was singing in the rain. They actually had "rain" during singing in the rain number. Several audience members were hit with water. Even with the lack of leg room i would still go to enjoy a show. They have some really good talent appearing there. It's a perfect way to spend an evening, make sure to visit one of the local restaurants while your downtown. The Liberty Market is a slice of heaven.

Great place to experience the theater. Sure, there are some three star and some five star performances--but so goes live theater! it is 5 stars for the experience and the asset to the community that it is! ( I have attended shows in SLC and Gilbert occasionally over nearly 30 years--definitely recommend the experience!)

We saw a play called See How They Run and it was hilarious!! Every seat is a good seat because this is a theater in the round. Their are good restaurants near and plenty of free parking in the area.
Small venue in the square. Lots of inventive staging and excellent performances. Gilbert is popping these days.

Gorgeous lobby/theater. The aesthetic hit you the second you saw the exterior and continued when you walked in; the theater itself was shakesperian style as in being 360 guaranteeing amazing views.

Intimate theatre in the round in downtown gilbert that holds great musical stage shows. Actors are local, professional and a pleasure to watch. If you haven't seen a sow at the hale, make a point of it soon.
This is an incredible theatre! We saw the Christmas Carol here, Ave it was incredible all the live action special effects try had! Also, they had Cory from Fox news play Scrooge! It was a wonderful blend of acting and singing.

Had a wonderful evening at Hale! it's one of my favorite theaters to see Productions at in the valley, because they are always just so good. It's a Wonderful building, and you can always find fantastic staff, beautiful Productions, and wonderfully talented actors here. A wonderful family friendly entertainment hub in Gilbert.
