Love this place. I have bought, and donated, several items here and am delighted. The staff is friendly and helpful. They also will load items if needed. My friend and I stop by, regularly, because you never know when a new treasure can be found.
Glad you are here Habitat!

Rip-off pricing for a second-hand furniture place. Wanted to buy an IKEA item that was marked $129 used. Found it on IKEA's website for $189 brand new. Asked if they would take less for cash and they just said no price breaks, period. I even talked to the manager...some of their prices are laughable.

This place has changed dramatically. The prices are horribly high and looks like they are trying to rip people off. It was my go to place before heading to Home Depot. What happened? Here's an example of a clothes rack, Restore price ($30) vs Target new item price($15). Before you buy do your research on the item cost, so you don't get ripped off!

I called to see if they take a dining room table in very good shape. They said sure but when I get there, they won't take it unless it comes with chairs. If you look at their goods and even their website, many of the tables on display do not have matching chairs so I don't understand why they wouldn't take my table. Not a good feeling about this place and will complain further at the top about this.

They have a large selection of affordable used furniture. I found a bookshelf there in perfect condition for $25 which I had almost purchased online for $125. I will definitely check back for additional items for our new home. The staff was very nice and helped load it in my car for me.

Snagged this comfy arm chair for $60. This is a wonderful place to find furniture staples, and you know your money is going to a good cause. I purchased a great dining table from them earlier this year as well. If you're patient and visit frequently, you can even find mid-century modern pieces.

It's not worth visiting anymore.

The prices are absurd and are inflated even with "50% off X tags" "deals". Prices are set with "sales" in mind and it's clear that whoever is pricing this stuff is doing a lot of research then setting the highest price they can. They're mostly asking 75-100% of new price (and sometimes more than retail). It's non-sense for how used this stuff is. A lot of the stuff has significant stains or other damage but still demands a really high price. (And people are DONATING this stuff)

Asking $5000 a very well used stove. (Which sells new for $4000) Even if you then mark it down "50%", it's still absurd. You're better off just putting up Craigslist alerts and buying from random people. I honestly can't go here anymore. I have bought things from here some time ago but no more. It's not worth visiting.

I am writing this review on behalf of my grandfather who is a Retired Carpenter and a Vietnam Vet, last week he was at the San Carlos location & was rudely talked to when Enquiring about prices on some door casings he was given exceptionally poor service in the warehouse, not only once but on two occasions. The (Hispanic) Manager was hollering don t come back here into The employee area . Grandpa couldn t get any help, & he was only trying to get the dimensions and pricing of the doors, & the (Managers ) response was those were his doors, & he refuse to give him a price. He said to my grandfather he would price them when he got ready

In my Personal opinion the customer service is lousy & POOR At best I wish I can give this place a -3 stars

I would also like to add it s a shame that senior citizens could be treated this way

I hope there s a manager reading this a real manager and not this jerk he should be fired

I went with grandpa to Home Depot as soon as we walked in the door they greeted grandpa with a handicap cart and asked us what we needed help with they got us exactly what we needed it didn t even take 30 minutes
