My agent, Maggie, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. She assisted me with 2 years of filings. Due to unemployment assistance (1099) and pandemic stimulus checks, I didn't feel comfortable filing on my own.

Donna, is the person whom prepared my taxes, very conversational which was fine. As she prepared my taxes, she showed things on the screen asked questions as in a normal tax preparer. But literally Donna messed up a step or more in the process, or H & R block was trying to rob me for $2000 of my return! When she said my total return would be $2,462 and the fee was $444 from H&R Block and on top of that another $49 to the state; huh when does the state charge a fee.. that additional fee should of been in that high fee of $444! I then wanted to get up and leave, and call her out on her wrong doing but hey I try to have manners even in a situation I don't like nor agree with. Maybe it was her employer trying to cheat people . I knew that amount was WRONG! I took my return to my original tax person in Lakewood.. he charged me $75 YES I SAID IT $75! My total return was $4,265 and $144 from the state. Yes, I will post this online the world is hurting and with the Rapid refund it's a SCAM!
Terrible experience. My tax preparer somehow messed up my address (of all things?) to a VERY different address, which is extremely peculiar and sketchy to me. The tax preparation fees were ridiculous, WAY higher than my state tax refund, and still to this day I have not been able locate and get my state refund from 2019 due to their mistakes!
I have called several times to try and get them to help me, they want me to come in physically to fix this, as if I haven't already spent way more time and money on this than I thought I would've when hiring "tax professionals." I should be getting a refund for the tax services, or some help amending this, instead, I am left alone to locate, amend and resubmit my tax return.
I have been seeing Maggie Edwards for the last 5 years. She is so pleasant and knowledgeable. I will definitely see her again next year! Thanks Maggie for your help!!!!

Maggie was amazing and did a fantastic job with our taxes! It was so easy working with her, and I didn't even have to go into the office (perfect for the age of covid)!
Somehow they added a dependent to my taxes which gave me a lot more money in my tax return. Because of that the IRS held my check for 3 months and redid my taxes and I probably got less than what I should have gotten if h&R block did not screw up
