This hotel has maximum 2 stars out of four. The furniture and carpets are way outdated. The bed are creaky. Way overpriced!!!

Catastrophic!
We were greeted by a lovely young man named Kamal.
Then then everything was horrible! The restaurant is a shame! Rude staff like I have never seen this! A woman in her fifties with dark brown square hair, cheeky! Talked to us like we were real morons! The kitchen was bordering on a canteen! And No taste! No flavors! With a note of 130 !! Is there a hidden camera somewhere?
The superior room is just pretty. But let's not talk about the finishes!
In short to flee !!!! !

We are from Argentina and we were walking through France and Spain, it is the second time that we are in yean de luz, very nice place, we will surely come back ,, hug

Very disappointed! We found it shameful for a 4-star hotel to offer rooms with perforated curtains, broken tiles in the bathroom ... the noise until 2:30 a.m. downstairs in our room, without any intervention from the staff.
Finally, it is totally abnormal that no one warns us that the Thalasso, including even the swimming pool, is prohibited for children under 12. We came as a family with our 1 year old baby and were therefore unable to take advantage of the Thalasso.
With that, when we left, we told the reception team, without any reaction! The big one I don't care ...
Far from a 4 star in our opinion! We will not be coming back!

Hotel well located in the village, convenient for visits and outings to restaurants. The thalassotherapy has made us a great and direct access to the beach too great! I recommend it !

Excellent places for a stay of fitness .... pretty setting ... baths with ocean water many benefits etc ....

You can go to this establishment with confidence C that happiness

I'm on the site right now because I wish I could come back to it, along with my wife, in the next few days.
We have not forgotten the previous stays.
But we do not go to an Ets of this kind, as we decide to go to lunch at the local bistro, when your wife has neglected to prepare the meal. (it rarely happens)

I am willing to give my opinion, and say it is very favorable.
I have never given an unfavorable opinion of an establishment (in 40 years of road passenger transport and travel agency, after a single stay)

Rooms are old and poorly soundproof, certainly there is the thalasso and still the mosaic in the large pool is damaged, it lacks small tiles everywhere. I will not say anything about the sea view only positive point. For the price the benefits are not at all at the rendezvous. Much too expensive for what it is.

The location of the hotel facing the sea is ideal. The restaurant is quite expensive, but the restaurant of the casino or near the port are close. Large well appointed rooms. The heated seawater pool and rest areas have seen sea.
Ideal for a romantic weekend!

All the staff are really nice and attentive, the establishment is close to the sea with access to it, directly from inside the establishment.
Only downside is the bar at the end of the street, even if it is far away, with the window open you can hear.

However very beautiful view of the ocean, and very beautiful hammam.

The bedroom and the spa was great. But the size, layout and cleanliness of the bathroom was subpar.
Also, I found the reception staff rude.

It is a very nice place to spend a quiet holiday. The hotel has all the services to spend a few pleasant days.
The terrace on the sea is very beautiful and you can have dinner there with your dog.
It is not the first time that we go, nor the last one.
To put a but I would say it is a tad expensive, but everything in San Juan de Luz is expensive.

Incomparable situation directly on the beach of Saint-Jean de Luz. The relaxing destination par excellence, especially out of season.

The negative points :
- reception during the purchase of tickets unsatisfactory, not enough explanations. Fortunately, one of the coaches and one of the hostesses helped us a lot when we needed help
- the spa is dilapidated (mosaic tiles missing, stains on the false ceiling, rust / brown stains on the elements located in the water)
- the price: at this price we thought we would enter a better quality spa with bathrobe provided for example

There are still some positive points :):
- ocean view
- access from the spa to the beach
- Magnificent hammam
- sauna nothing to say!

Superb spa relaxation guaranteed opportunity to go on the beach course aqua gym etc with competent and friendly teachers

Great hotel both at the level of personal welcoming, as modern infrastructure, clean rooms with neat finishes, note that access to the pool requires a bathing cap.

Disappointing,
The hotel and the spa center deserve a serious renovation, the rooms are cramped and dull in terms of care.
The staff for the most part is very professional, but for others it's more of a line job. At the restaurant level, very good attentive and considerate staff, the top cuisine, not to mention the beautiful terrace.

Very pleasant hotel / restaurant on the edge of the bay of St Jean Luz. Very fine and tasty cuisine, pleasant welcome. Thalasso with a view of the bay ... Possibility of going directly to the beach to enjoy a foot bath, or for the more courageous, a dip.
Note: complete repair work in anticipation of September to May 2019. Take advantage quickly before ... and after ....

Neoclassical building located directly on the beach. It feels like returning to the days of the blue flag aboard a transatlantic. Art deco restaurant with a new cuisine visual. Spacious room. Very friendly staff in general. We navigate between the charming family hotel and a room of a famous chain. Don't forget to visit its thalassotherapy center. Extra for well-being.

A good welcome. The staff is friendly, the decor is relaxing. No parking in the hotel, but a paying square in the underground car park with direct access to the hotel can be taken at the reception

A little disappointed by the noise of the street, wake up at 7 am by barking dogs. Idem by the noise of the room above. It's very average for 360 on weekends. Spa area very well.

Very good location, close to the beach and in the center of the villa, spacious rooms. Very friendly reception team. Access from the hotel to parking. The spa should take care of it a bit more but it's fine. Good hotel to make a break and relax, as well as visit the area and the surroundings that are very nice.

Excellent value for money out of season. Very attentive and professional staff. Impeccable hygiene.
Whether it's the hotel, the Oreka bar or full access to the gym, hammam, sauna and biomarin course, everything is perfect. Only the restaurant is for me a little too expensive for the menu offered. On the other hand in this same restaurant, the breakfast is really worth its price and is very gourmet and greedy.

Hotel very well located with access to the spa that gives direct on the beach. The rooms are spacious and the staff pleasant. I recommend.

4 star hotel??

We should kindly leave our bikes at the reception.

- First we got a completely smoked room. Efforts to improve were limited. Mold everywhere in the bathroom. The indoor swimming pool has long seen its prime. Plaster was crumbling from the wall, the wind pulls through and otherwise not very well maintained. There is an underground car park, but it is also quite expensive. Almost every evening loud shouting and music until the early hours of the morning.
Breakfast, as so often in my eyes, clearly overpriced.

I note it anyway, knowing that the establishment closes its doors at the end of September for renovation.
I went there in June 2019. It has a rather family atmosphere and it's nice. A very professional welcome only valid for 3 or 4 people. The catering is up to the stars awarded to the hotel.
The rooms are quite adequate in size with a fairly good view. However, the windows are no longer airtight: drafts and noise. The decoration is old, etc. To see after renovation. Otherwise no noise in the corridors.
I particularly appreciate the fact that from the upper floors, you can directly access the spa by lift.
Reception at the Thalasso to be reviewed for some in terms of friendliness and availability. Regarding the beauty institute, the saleswoman that day absolutely unprofessional. Sloppy presentation. Aesthetic advice to review. So I did not take an appointment. The thalassotherapy area offers us a magnificent view of the sea. But we are all seated next to each other, as in a corridor predisposed to taking exams, waiting for someone to call us out loud to enter. in a basic cabin that is absolutely neither intimate nor calm, whereas this place is supposed to bring us peace and well-being. The staff again border on friendliness. They do their assembly line work automatically. It is very unpleasant being a follower of Thalasso treatments.
The pools are obviously aging but pleasant with very friendly staff. I loved the hammam.
Hopefully during this exceptional closure the staff will be able to follow new training and that the premises will be reorganized. Overall, I have good memories of my stay and will come back to discover the "new establishment" in June 2020.

The two stars are because even though we did not like anything at all, as a general rule, unless you go to a 5-star hotel in France, the hotels are very distressing and leave much to be desired, with few exceptions, this is no exception! !

We are a little disappointed ... Although the hotel is well placed, the staff pleasant but the facilities are too old: room in poor condition, stained carpet, bathroom not very clean and in poor condition ... In short we waited for something else compared to the fare paid

Great time, half day water park and gym. Pools, jets, steam rooms ... varied and clean, great views of the beach. Gym with many facilities and advice if needed.

Incredible, cozy nice spa hotel at Saint-Jean-de-Luz.
Walk outside of the hotel and make a relaxing walking across the wooden docks behind the hotel, towards the beach. Many stores and great restaurants.
Helianthal is a phenomenal place to rest and relax, Saint-Jean-de-Luz, a nice, charming little town in southern france, worth a visit.
