The nurses are really at the top especially those at night. Doctor I saw it when I came up from the explanations block very quick and brief, and said to me you will not see me again !!! At the level of the appointment mail never received fortunately that I telephoned one answers me you have appointment tomorrow super for the organization. As I had a cancerous tumor in my breast he said to me you need a bra support that attaches in front, you go to a sports store. Except in sports store there are many bras that s attach in front but not necessarily good for strong breasts. I remind them they never knew how to orient me. I see a doctor on Monday January 13th for the results to see !! apart from the fact that for a hospital the meals are not too bad. The rooms without showers.

I went to this hospital on Friday September 25, 2020 to see a friend in paliative care in the UDEP second floor building. It was 9 p.m., I had driven a lot. The hospital was empty. I was accompanied, confused and sad. I was extremely well received by the nurse who was behind the kiosk. The person accompanying me did not want to wash their hands and this nurse had the patience and the right words to help me make her understand that it was important. She didn't get mad, she didn't use harsh words. She was just understanding and reassuring. What I appreciated in this moment that was difficult for me

There is too much money at stake !!! the fight against cancer is not reliable. For example, lung cancer was treated in the same way ten years ago, nothing has changed! Labs first sell their stacks of useless chemios and do not do research in this area, since it pays a lot! how many thousands of deaths a year and no innovation? Pitiful! really pitiful! I would be ashamed to be a pulmonologist, with so little progress in research!

Top Cancer Center, with advanced technology and research. My mother was treated for gastric cancer through robotic surgery. Including very excellent counselling by surgeons. Almost all staff are bilingual; english speaking. However nursing staff don t speak english that well; nevertheless very caring and do make the effort to assign an english speaking nurse if possible.

My life was saved thanks to this hospital when I was twelve years old; I carry in my heart the memory of the doctors Madame Flamand, M. Le Merle, Mme. Kalifa, Mme Odille Oberlin for ever (pediatrie gustave Roussy 1980) Thank you Emanuelle

My little boy was admitted to this center and he received no care. The radiologist, who is too busy talking to the nurses, often has no time for us. Fortunately we fled this property after several blah blah meetings. Our son is now in good hands of pros in another hospital in Lyon. The doctors of Lyons said they were unfortunately accustomed to see patients arrive at home disappointed and revolted the ability to treat patients in this Roussy Institute. IGR = empty corridors, crowded waiting rooms, and oncologists and radiologists on breaks, in the canteen or cafeteria. Drab. We had the right SLR to leave but in Lyon the teacher who took charge of our little Sylvain said that we had done well to save ourselves and we saved our son at the same time; that there are many scandals to Roussy. Do a search on the net / poisonings / active radioactive waste / ....... C is a very sick center ........: (

Seen in consultation with dermatologist Marie Reigneau. Excellent practitioner. Very attentive and taking the time to explain to us what she does and why. Caring and respectful of her patients' bodies, she asked me if I was okay with undressing and removing my bra to look at my moles. Really very nice to feel a person who really takes care of us.

I wanted to warmly thank the real-life teams. My father passed away that afternoon there. They have accompanied us in a remarkable way through this terrible ordeal. Unusual profesionalism. Extraordinary empathy. I am proud to have such incredible health services in this country. Thank you ... thank you again ... Plus one of the nurses is awfully hot ... which occupied my mind ... well I think it's not on purpose but good ...

welcome with information. impeccable tracking comfortable waiting room. Nurse and secretary very well. For the moaners take a ride in other Establishment style Paris Nord. To name just him there you will see the welcome in discussion with his girlfriend on the phone, a doctor who announces in 10 minutes that you are not operable. At Gustave Roussy I become operable with 4 days of hospitalization. thank you to all the staff.

GUSTAVE ROUSSY DE VILLEJUIF HOSPITAL ITEP SERVICE The new protocols that are sold to patients like the American dream ... No follow-up, no communication with the family! My father, after fighting for almost 4 years, died of throat cancer and a new protocol (never tested on humans) which he accepted as his last hope. He was made to sign papers saying that if it was wrong he could withdraw at any time! But it's wrong ! His state of health seriously deteriorated and he had to be on his deathbed for the doctors to finally decide to stop their rot on my dad! Very negative and disappointing assessment !!!!!! It is even shameful! No truth told even being a demanding and realistic family. It's incredible ! Lying in this kind of situation is unacceptable and unforgivable. Is it normal not to have any information about him when he clearly lends himself as a guinea pig to science? No, I do not think so. Is it normal to fight for 2 weeks before you can have a doctor in front of you? No, I do not think so. Is it normal to see a patient almost every week with bleeding necks and send them home just because the dressing is just poorly done? No, I do not think so. Is it normal to see the patient undernourished but not find any solution? No, I do not think so. Is it normal that by going to the emergency room with my father in full bleeding, we are told that there are not enough places and that we have to come back tomorrow when he absolutely could not do another 1h30 drive? in this state to go home? No, I do not think so. The disease killed my father and that's for sure, but it's not just her who has something to do with it unfortunately. Honesty, frankness, respect for the patient and his family (communication) and so on are largely not existing in the service of ITEP !!!!!!

One of the harshest wars is raging within the Gustave-Roussy Institute: that against cancer. Here, it is the first European front, since it is the very first private control center which bears the name of the creator of the first consultation dedicated to cancer patients. 2,600 health professionals use the latest technology to cure adults and children with frequent or rare cancers. We can make a donation to help research on their website.

They are all certainly very "good" ... but I still felt like I was in a factory at Cancer. Most nurses, doctors, oncologists, secretaries are not listening ... Too bad, I do not feel good in this establishment: I miss this human side. And these expectations ... Each time you have to take a day off for a simple appointment. At Chevilly-Larue, it's totally different ... It's much more user-friendly.

Very bad experience for my mom. No listening, we change the oncologist without being warned, we do not take into account what you say, what you live, we move from one protocol to another without worrying about how the patient is doing. My mother was in a wheelchair because she was no longer standing up because of chemo, she was losing all her strength and they continued. We made the mistake of trusting them. They have worked hard on her as a subject of study. She had the feeling of being only a number. I'm talking about the team of oncologists. Otherwise in the hospital staff is like everywhere there are people very well (and thank you to them) like others who would do better to change jobs. My sister is in her turn and believe me that it is not here that we go.

Very disappointed by the responses provided by the continuous surgical monitoring team of the MORBIHAN service; My mom underwent an operation for 10 hours, the day before the intervention it is said that it is quite possible (including DR DR MIRGHANI ) to have news on the evening of the intervention from 6 p.m. then the lack of tact and diplomacy begins. Aside from handing the phone over, the staff do not send you any information, ditto for the secretariat orl; we were told to be watched on the patient portal in order to read the reports or there is nothing to publish. It is revolting especially when you live more than 150kms from the IGR !!!!

A total disappointment concerning this hospital. We have a foreign patient for whom no respect, no thoughtful protocol, have been elaborated, despite a consequent financial support. They are not even able to renew the stay to this patient. The height: A paperless hospitalized who is unable to move to the prefecture of Creteil. The main fault: the social worker for the stay, and Dr. Gaspar for the medical side. We want to make a lawsuit for all this world of incompetents ....... A Parisian association of support to this patient.

Tip: Replace your secretarial switchboard with an automated patient management program. We don't know, maybe the program will be capable of more empathy than them. Heavy impression of calling the McDonald's standard. Perhaps they are so used to treating cancer that they forget the empathy and emotion that patients can experience ... Edit: I moderate my opinion, dropping it from 1 to 3 stars. With hindsight, we cannot sully the reputation of an entire institute for the lack of professionalism of a few. I still believe, however, that the secretariat as a whole should review its practices. There are things that cannot be done. You have in front of people who are suffering, people who do not know if they will live for years to come. People are suffering and the secretariat has a role to play which should not be confined to managing schedules. Similarly, the management of schedules and appointments should be reviewed. It is not normal for a secretary to be able to decide when to make an appointment. This should be systematic: we end an appointment, we immediately plan the next step. But no, you have to put the pressure, be insistent to get what you want ... It's a shame Cancer is, as I see it, a disease that can sometimes play out down to the month or week. It is normal to panic, to be anxious, and to expect more from the secretariat than a person who will initiate the meeting when they have decided. If a director of this institute reads me, and would like to hear our feedback, do not hesitate to respond by leaving us a contact email. I will have no problem sending you my bad feedback on the subject.

I have been followed by IGR since the end of July 2020 for breast cancer and I am completely satisfied with the entire team of the service, whether in surgery, radiotherapy, etc. The support by all the hospital staff is excellent in addition to being friendly, smiling, with a lot of empathy. I did not encounter any problem even in the logistics and organization. Really top level.

My brother was treated for 3 years for a solitary fibrous tumor (very rare), the operation was very delicate, 9:00 intervention. Thank you to this 1st doctor. Then, a cancer of the esophagus was declared after the treatment with sodium of high dose + all the scanners and MRI. The second operation went well but he was sent home after 2 weeks when he had to stay 4 weeks, he died at home 2 days after an internal bleeding. It's a shame that such an error can be ignored. And that care triggers cancer .. Respect the hospitalization time carefully even if a doctor advises you otherwise. My brother would still be alive today and he would be 45 if we had not listened to this 2nd doctor. Good luck...

Difficult to sleep there, with the neons of the facade that dazzle the room. (Yes yes, there are many beds contrary to what you are told, and the rooms are often empty ...) The teams are not developed, lack of humanity and consideration towards the patient or his family . Cracking lack of organization and consistency in the follow-up of the files. Administrative and medical follow-up deplorable! Committees postponed or canceled without notifying the patient. Inappropriate dosage. Unacceptable ... Quickly returned to palliative care for lack of professionalism. (Doctors who claim to be specialists and who are not!) Attention, prefer a hospital with personnel able to manage your pathology, there are others, this center of fight against cancer is a pool of doctors who would also like to practice elsewhere .... You have rights, claim them.

This institute did nothing for my poor mom except to make her suffer needlessly during what will have been the last 2 months of her life, give us false hopes, steal precious moments from her and leave her in terrible psychological suffering. The conditions of hospitalization are at the limit of mistreatment.

My son met professor Ducreux in 2016 for biliary tract cancer, at his question (I was present) do you think I'm going to be okay? this eminent professor replied "I would not be there if I had no hope". A year after his visit to Gustave Roussy, reduced to the state of a vegetable on his wheelchair after various ineffective treatments at this establishment, the professor came with his yard to tell him in 2 minutes I can do nothing more for you. Too bad that all the money collected at ODYSSEA goes most often in the pockets of the organizers (small puffs, small fish, etc.) as a volunteer I could see. Volunteers are treated like cattle and the people in charge of the organization watch us work. Lamentable atmosphere, distressing! I followed ODYSSEA from the beginning but now I'm sick and I'm not the only one, too bad, it's a big and noble cause and I prefer to donate directly to Gustave Roussy
