Not bad, better for kids than adults, but there is still somethings for all ages here. Be prepared to start at the top so that you don't miss the show about driving the boat. When they close they shut down everything.
I was really looking forward to going to the Gulf Quest and when I build things up in my mind I'm often disappointed. Not this time. I enjoyed the museum, the director did a good job of laying out the exhibits and making them interesting to all ages. The technology they use is incredible, the one suggestion I have would be to increase the automation and create ways to leave the globe and other programs continuously, instead of scheduling them.

I loved this museum. It's very clean and super interactive. A lot of the exhibits are actually relevant to the job of an actual mariner today!
This is an excellent interactive museum for both children and adults. It explains the many things that go on in the Gulf from weather patterns and how hurricanes develop to historical figures and events.
Make sure to allot at least two hours. It also has a great deck to take pictures of the Mobile skyline.
GO visit during Covid! They are doing so much to manage risk and clean-- I was completely at ease! It was interactive and enlightening. Very well done and inexpensive. My husband and I had a personally guided tour from Khaela and she was perfect! She let us spend time on the things that interested us and even managed to make the things that we weren't interested in interesting! She took us through the place like a champ and knew so much history and facts-- it was a blast. We loved it and definitely recommend it.

Ms. Rose keeps the place shining. Probably the cleanest men's restroom in Mobile County for sure. Rose keeps the window and glass doors finger prints free all day.
Great place to visit and spend a few hours. Had some family visit me. Took them and their 2 children. We had a very enjoyable time.
The kids ran all over looking at the displays. All the adults enjoyed it too.
And it is air conditioned. They have free paring.
Great museum! Very informational and kid friendly. We loved the interactive elements of the museum. Khaela was our guide and was very professional, knowledgeable, and charming. Great way to spend an afternoon!
